Yhwach Reign Piece Guide, How to Get

Yhwach, the Quincy King, has arrived in Reign Piece as part of one of the game’s major updates. Unlike some characters that can be unlocked with a simple purchase or short quest, getting Yhwach requires several steps across different areas, including Hueco Mundo, Shibuya, and the Soul King Palace.

The process involves completing contracts, collecting Reiatsu Clusters, crafting the Oden Key, and eventually defeating the Yhwach boss for the required materials. There is also an additional step if you want access to his G skill, which requires unlocking the Quincy King race and completing another contract.

How to Get Yhwach in Reign Piece

The first step is to travel to the Royal Palace. Look for the Soul King Palace area and find the Ichibe NPC. Speak with Ichibe to begin his contract, which starts the main Yhwach obtainment questline.

Most of the early requirements take you to Hueco Mundo, where you will need to complete several activities and collect the necessary materials. It is recommended to work through the available bosses while progressing because some of them can provide items needed for the contract.

One useful activity is the Ichigo Raid on Hard Mode. This raid can drop Oken Fragments, which are required during the progression. The raid itself can be farmed while working on the other requirements, allowing you to make progress toward multiple objectives at the same time.

After completing the required tasks for Ichibe, the next major requirement is collecting 15 Reiatsu Clusters. There are several ways to obtain this material, so you can choose the farming method that works best for your character.

Reiatsu Clusters can be obtained from:

  • Rank Cards, although the drop chance is relatively low.
  • Ulquiorra Boss, which has a better chance of dropping them.
  • Aizen Boss, which provides a much better farming opportunity.
  • Stark Raid, which can also reward Reiatsu Clusters.

For a more efficient farming method, Aizen Boss is recommended because of its better drop chance. Keep defeating the boss until you have collected all 15 Reiatsu Clusters.

Once you have the required Reiatsu Clusters, travel to Shibuya and locate the crafting NPC. Use the required materials to craft the Oden Key.

The Oden Key is important because it gives you access to the Soul King Palace, where you can continue the Yhwach obtainment process.

How to Spawn Yhwach Boss

After entering the Soul King Palace, start farming the mobs found in the area. These enemies can drop an item called Blood Fiend.

Collect the required Blood Fiend materials from the mobs. Once you have enough, you can use them to spawn the Yhwach Boss.

The final part of the obtainment is straightforward from here: repeatedly defeat Yhwach and collect the materials required for his unlock. The boss may require multiple runs, so be prepared to farm the encounter until you have everything needed.

After gathering the required materials, you can unlock the Yhwach Spec.

Yhwach G Skill Requirement

When you first obtain Yhwach, you can use most of his moves, but the G skill will remain locked. You need to complete another progression path before you can use it.

First, you need to obtain the Quincy King Race. To begin this process, find the Hashwalth NPC and interact with him to start his contract.

Hashwalth’s contract is relatively simple compared with some of the other requirements in the Yhwach questline. Complete the objectives he gives you and then move on to the next NPC.

After finishing Hashwalth’s contract, find the Gerard NPC. Gerard provides the contract needed to unlock Yhwach’s G skill.

Complete Gerard’s requirements and the G skill will become available. Once everything is finished, you will have access to the complete Yhwach moveset.

Yhwach Moveset

Yhwach has a strong moveset that focuses on his Quincy abilities and gives him several useful attacks. After obtaining the spec, most of the moves are available immediately, while the G skill requires the additional Quincy King progression.

Overall, the Yhwach spec provides a solid combination of attacks and abilities. While its overall performance can depend on the player’s build and preferences, the moveset is considered a strong option for players who want to use the Quincy King.

There is also a dedicated NPC connected to Yhwach, including quests that can be completed after obtaining him. These quests are optional, so players who are mainly interested in the spec do not necessarily need to focus on them.

Obtaining Yhwach in Reign Piece takes several steps, but the overall path becomes much easier once you know which materials and NPCs you need. The main progression starts with Ichibe at the Royal Palace, continues through Hueco Mundo and Shibuya, and eventually leads you to the Soul King Palace and Yhwach Boss.

If you want the complete Yhwach moveset, remember that obtaining the spec is not the final step. You still need to unlock the Quincy King Race through Hashwalth and complete Gerard’s contract to gain access to the G skill. Once those requirements are finished, you will have the full Yhwach setup available.
