The Skycrest update adds a new progression system to Fisch, and one of the biggest objectives is collecting Sky Crystals for the Keeper of the Sky questline. There are 10 Sky Crystals scattered across the Fisch world, with several requiring quests, special items, or additional exploration before you can claim them.
These crystals are important because they are tied to restoring Abaia’s Chamber and progressing toward the Abaia content on Skycrest. Some crystals can be collected directly, while others are obtained through NPC quests or specific requirements. Here is what you need to know before starting the hunt.
What Are Sky Crystals Used For in Fisch?
Sky Crystals are special quest items connected to the Keeper of the Sky questline introduced with the Skycrest update. Unlike ordinary collectibles, these crystals are meant to be returned and placed as part of the progression toward Abaia’s Chamber.
The questline sends you across multiple parts of the Fisch map rather than keeping everything on Skycrest. This means you will need to travel between islands, complete NPC requests, and in some cases increase your Idol Favor before the crystals can be placed.
All 10 Sky Crystal Locations in Fisch
The 10 Sky Crystals are spread across different areas of the Fisch world. Some confirmed locations include Moosewood, Terrapin Island, Roslit Bay, Snowcap Island, and other areas, making this a fairly long collection quest.
Here is the current list of the known Sky Crystal locations and their requirements:
- Lighthouse Sky Crystal — Moosewood
- Terrapin Island Sky Crystal
- Roslit Bay Sky Crystal
- Snowcap Island Sky Crystal
- Forsaken Shores Sky Crystal
- Forgotten Temple Sky Crystal
- Campfire Sky Crystal
- Wilson’s Sky Crystal
- Skull Sky Crystal
- Living Sky Crystal
Some names overlap because certain crystals are associated with the NPC, location, or method used to obtain them. The most important thing is following the requirements rather than relying only on the crystal’s name.
1. Lighthouse Sky Crystal
The first crystal is located at Moosewood, inside the lighthouse. Climb to the highest point of the lighthouse and look underneath the glass window panel.
- Crystal: Lighthouse Sky Crystal
- Location: Moosewood Lighthouse
- Idol Favor Requirement: None
2. Aquatic Sky Crystal
Travel to Terrapin Island and fish around the waters where the otters can be found. The Aquatic Sky Crystal is obtained as a secondary fishing catch, so it may take some time to appear.
- Crystal: Aquatic Sky Crystal
- Location: Terrapin Island
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 3
3. Campfire Sky Crystal
Go to Roslit Bay and find Ash near the campfire. Talk to Ash and select the dialogue option regarding the strange crystal.
Ash will ask you to bring an Albino Mutated Sky Crest fish. Once you provide the requested fish and complete the dialogue, you will receive the Campfire Sky Crystal.
- Crystal: Campfire Sky Crystal
- Location: Roslit Bay
- NPC: Ash
- Requirement: Albino Mutated Sky Crest fish
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 5
4. Icy Sky Crystal
Travel to Snowcap Island and climb to the upper section where Wilson can be found.
Speak with Wilson and help him recover his lost fishing rod. The rod is located behind him, down inside a small opening in the wall. Retrieve it and return it to Wilson.
After completing the request, talk to him again and select the dialogue concerning the strange crystal. Wilson will then give you the Icy Sky Crystal.
- Crystal: Icy Sky Crystal
- Location: Snowcap Island
- NPC: Wilson
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 8
5. Skull Sky Crystal
The Skull Sky Crystal is located at Forsaken Shores, near Jack Marrow. Use the skull area or the Scurvy Rod location as a reference point when searching for him.
You must have at least Idol Favor Level 12 before you can obtain this crystal.
Talk to Jack Marrow and select the dialogue option about the strange crystal. He will ask for 500,000 cash in exchange for it.
- Crystal: Skull Sky Crystal
- Location: Forsaken Shores
- NPC: Jack Marrow
- Cost: 500,000 cash
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 12
6. Living Sky Crystal
Head to the Forgotten Temple in the Jungle. Make your way toward the Moss Jaw area and search around the room.
The Living Sky Crystal can be picked up once you reach the required Favor level.
- Crystal: Living Sky Crystal
- Location: Forgotten Temple, Jungle
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 15
7. Mountain Sky Crystal
Travel to Castaway Cliffs and head toward the rear side of the island. Look for the shipwreck in this area.
The Mountain Sky Crystal can be found around the shipwreck.
- Crystal: Mountain Sky Crystal
- Location: Castaway Cliffs
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 20
8. Prismatic Sky Crystal
Go to the Ancient Isles and find the NPC near the meteor-related area. Speak to him and select the option about the strange crystal.
He will ask you to provide one of several valuable materials. You can give him an Opal, Lapis Lazuli, or Moonstone.
After providing one of the required items, you will receive the Prismatic Sky Crystal.
- Crystal: Prismatic Sky Crystal
- Location: Ancient Isles
- Required item: Opal, Lapis Lazuli, or Moonstone
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 30
9. Divine Sky Crystal
Travel to the Northern Expedition and enter the cave where you would normally go to obtain the Heaven’s Rod.
Inside the cave, check the side area to find the Divine Sky Crystal.
- Crystal: Divine Sky Crystal
- Location: Northern Expedition
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 40
10. Infernal Sky Crystal
The final crystal is located at Skoria’s Reach. Travel toward Skoria’s Mine and enter the mine.
Make sure you have the appropriate Skoria Armor equipped before entering. Once inside, cross the lava area and you will find the Infernal Sky Crystal.
- Crystal: Infernal Sky Crystal
- Location: Skoria’s Mine, Skoria’s Reach
- Idol Favor Requirement: Level 50
How to Get Sky Crystals Faster
If you want to complete the crystal hunt without wasting time sailing around the map, prepare your character before starting. The quest crosses several islands, and some objectives require money, fishing, or special items. Keep these tips in mind:
- Equip a GPS so you can navigate between locations more easily.
- Save at least 500,000 C$ for the Skull Sky Crystal.
- Bring a strong fishing rod for the Albino fish requirement.
- Consider using the Noir enchant when working on the Campfire crystal.
- Unlock the Temple Eye before attempting the Living Sky Crystal.
- Complete Wilson’s Lost Rod objective while you are already at Snowcap.
- Increase your Idol Favor as you progress instead of waiting until all crystals are collected.
- Keep checking your Keeper of the Sky quest progress after each crystal.
- Return to Skycrest regularly to see whether you can place another crystal.
How to Open Abaia’s Chamber
The Sky Crystals ultimately lead toward Abaia’s Chamber, a major location connected to the Skycrest update. The chamber is behind a sealed door, and the crystals act as the key to progressing through it.
Current guides identify four primary crystals for opening the door: the Lighthouse, Campfire, Skull, and Wilson’s Sky Crystals. In some cases, players may also need the Living Sky Crystal from the Forgotten Temple if the door does not open after placing the first four.
Once the required crystals are placed, the sealed area becomes accessible. The chamber contains the Fire of Spirits and is also connected to the Abaia encounter.
Why Idol Favor Matters for Sky Crystals
One of the easiest mistakes is assuming that every crystal can immediately be placed after you collect it. Skycrest uses Idol Favor as a separate progression system, and crystal placement can be locked behind your current Favor level.
Idol Favor is earned through activities on Skycrest, including fishing, idol-related content, side quests, and Master Hiroto’s challenges. Increasing it alongside your crystal hunt is much more efficient than collecting everything first and discovering that you cannot place the crystals afterward.
The Sky Crystal hunt in Fisch is designed as a cross-map progression quest rather than a simple collection challenge. You will need to travel between islands, complete NPC objectives, catch specific fish, find hidden areas, and spend a large amount of C$ before everything is finished.
Start with the easier crystals such as the Lighthouse Sky Crystal, then work through the Campfire and Wilson quests while building your Idol Favor. Once you have enough money, pick up the Skull Sky Crystal, unlock the Temple Eye for the Living Sky Crystal, and continue following the Keeper of the Sky quest until all 10 crystals are accounted for.
