5th God Hand is a new Secret unit introduced in Anime Expeditions Update 2.5. It has the Dark element and Psychic attack type, but unlike units that come from banners, you need to evolve another unit to get it. The evolution starts with Broken Falcon. You need to sacrifice 150 Souls at a specific NPC to receive an Eclipse Shard, then craft 10 Yellow Sprites. Once everything is ready, you can complete the evolution from the lobby.

5th God Hand Evolution Requirements

Before starting, make sure you have all the required materials. The 150 Souls are used at the Broken Falcon NPC, while the Eclipse Shard you receive from that exchange is used for the final evolution. Here is what you need:

  • 1 Broken Falcon
  • 150 Souls
  • 1 Eclipse Shard
  • 10 Yellow Sprites

The important thing to remember is that the 150 Souls are spent permanently when you choose the Sacrifice option. You should therefore make sure you have enough materials for the rest of the evolution before spending your Souls.

How to Get the Eclipse Shard

Anime Expeditions Guide: How to Get 5th God Hand in Update 2.5

The Eclipse Shard comes from the Broken Falcon NPC in Crimson Shore Act 1. You cannot get it from the later acts, so make sure you enter the correct stage.

Follow these steps:

  1. Enter Anime Expeditions.
  2. Travel to Crimson Shore.
  3. Enter Act 1.
  4. Find the Broken Falcon NPC.
  5. Interact with the NPC.
  6. Select Sacrifice.
  7. Confirm the cost of 150 Souls.
  8. The Eclipse Shard will be added to your inventory.

Once the Eclipse Shard appears in your items, the sacrifice is complete. You can then leave Crimson Shore and return to the lobby to prepare the remaining materials.

How to Get 10 Yellow Sprites

The next requirement is 10 Yellow Sprites. These are crafted in the lobby, so you do not need to farm another specific stage for the sprites themselves.

If you do not already have enough Yellow Sprites, check your Sprite inventory and use spare Grey or Rainbow Sprites as crafting materials.

To prepare the sprites:

  1. Return to the lobby.
  2. Go to the crafting area.
  3. Check how many Yellow Sprites you currently have.
  4. Use spare Grey or Rainbow Sprites for the required crafting materials.
  5. Craft Yellow Sprites until you have 10.
  6. Check your inventory again before starting the evolution.

It is better to craft all 10 before entering the Evolve menu. If you are even one Yellow Sprite short, the evolution cannot be completed.

How to Evolve Broken Falcon Into 5th God Hand

Once you have the Eclipse Shard and 10 Yellow Sprites, the final step is easy. The evolution is done directly from the Anime Expeditions lobby. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Evolve area.
  2. Open the evolution menu.
  3. Select Broken Falcon.
  4. Choose 5th God Hand as the evolution.
  5. Check that you have 1 Eclipse Shard.
  6. Check that you have 10 Yellow Sprites.
  7. Confirm the evolution.
  8. Broken Falcon will be consumed.
  9. 5th God Hand will be added to your inventory.

After the evolution, 5th God Hand will appear as a Secret unit with the Dark element and Psychic attack type. If the confirmation button is unavailable, check your Eclipse Shard and Yellow Sprite count first. In most cases, one of those requirements has not been completed.

5th God Hand Stats

Anime Expeditions Guide: How to Get 5th God Hand in Update 2.5

5th God Hand can become a strong damage dealer after being upgraded. However, it has a placement limit of only one unit per match, so you need to choose its position carefully.

The following stats are based on a level 50 unit with the Primordial trait:

  • Starting Damage: 1,954
  • Maximum Damage: 17,075
  • Starting SPA: 4.9 seconds
  • Maximum SPA: 8.7 seconds
  • Starting Range: 19.9
  • Maximum Range: 31.5
  • Placement Limit: 1
  • Full Upgrade Cost: 57,500 Yen
  • Maximum Attack: Calamity
  • Attack Type at Max: Multi-hit AoE

Your own stats can be different depending on the trait and equipment you use. If you want to test your exact numbers, the Testing Zone is a good place to check the unit before using it in an actual stage.

5th God Hand Upgrade Cost

The full upgrade path costs 57,500 Yen. Because you can only place one 5th God Hand, managing your Yen is especially important.

Do not spend too much of your early income on other units if your strategy depends on getting 5th God Hand to its stronger upgrades. Once fully upgraded, its attack changes to Calamity, giving it a multi-hit area attack.

The unit also becomes more effective as its passives start working together, so getting it fully upgraded can be important for longer stages.

5th God Hand Passives Explained

5th God Hand has three passives called Eclipse Distortion, Causality, and Eclipse. These abilities are connected, allowing the unit to become stronger as enemies continue passing through its attack range.

Eclipse Distortion

Every third normal attack creates a Distortion that remains active for 10 seconds.

Enemies that enter the Distortion are affected by several effects:

  • They disappear from the map for 2 seconds.
  • They stop moving during the effect.
  • They take damage equal to 50% of 5th God Hand’s current Damage.

This makes Eclipse Distortion useful for slowing enemy progress while also dealing additional damage.

Causality

Enemies that survive the Distortion receive Mark of Fate for five seconds. These marked enemies help fill the Fated Meter, which can hold up to 35 stacks.

Each marked enemy within range gives 5th God Hand:

  • 2.5% Damage
  • 1% Range

Marked enemies also take 5% more damage from 5th God Hand. This means the unit becomes more powerful when it has several marked enemies around it.

Eclipse

The final passive works with the Fated Meter. Every stack of the meter increases the damage dealt by Eclipse Distortion by 5%.

Once the meter reaches 35 stacks, a stronger effect activates. Every enemy within range takes damage equal to 100% of 5th God Hand’s current Damage per second for five seconds.

After this effect finishes, the Fated Meter resets and you need to build the stacks again.

Best Way to Use 5th God Hand

The best place for 5th God Hand is usually an area where enemies constantly pass through its range. This gives it more opportunities to create Distortions, apply Marks of Fate, and build the Fated Meter.

Avoid putting it somewhere that receives very little enemy traffic. The unit needs regular targets to make full use of its passive abilities.

Because its placement limit is only one, try to find a position that gives it good coverage while also keeping plenty of enemies inside its range.

Is 5th God Hand Worth Getting?

Yes, 5th God Hand is worth getting if you are looking for a strong Secret unit from Anime Expeditions Update 2.5. Its main strength comes from its passive system, which allows it to build power as enemies continue entering its range.

The process is also fairly straightforward once you have Broken Falcon. Get 150 Souls, visit Crimson Shore Act 1, choose Sacrifice at the Broken Falcon NPC, and collect the Eclipse Shard. Then craft 10 Yellow Sprites and complete the evolution from the lobby.

Since 5th God Hand can only be placed once, good positioning is important. Put it in a busy lane where it can keep attacking enemies and build its Fated Meter. With enough upgrades and steady enemy traffic, the unit can become a powerful part of an Update 2.5 team.
