Anime Expeditions Update 2.5 Best Team Guide: How to Solo Snowy Castle Raid Act 3

Snowy Castle Raid Act 3 is one of the harder stages to solo in Anime Expeditions Update 2.5. The main problem is the damage requirement, which can stop weaker teams from finishing the act even when their placements and upgrades are good.

There are two main ways to beat it. You can use a strong team with several Unbound units, or you can farm Raid Tokens and purchase Snowy Castle Totems for a large damage bonus. The second method takes more time but is much easier for players without the best units.

Best Team for Snowy Castle Act 3

For a clear without Snowy Castle Totems, you want three strong Unbound units supported by economy and buff units. The recommended six-unit setup is:

  • Sinbad — Unbound
  • Judar (Dark Mage, Sovereign) — Unbound
  • Cubert — Unbound
  • Salmon Sorcerer — No special requirement
  • Stone Alchemist — Economy unit
  • Forbidden Teacher — Support

The three most important units are Sinbad, Judar, and Cubert. They should all have the Unbound trait if you want to clear Act 3 without using the Snowy Castle damage boost.

Salmon Sorcerer is also useful because it remains valuable even if you decide to use the Totem strategy instead. Stone Alchemist handles your economy, while Forbidden Teacher completes the support side of the team.

What If You Don’t Have Three Unbound Units?

Not having Unbound Sinbad, Judar, or Cubert does not mean you cannot solo Snowy Castle Act 3. Instead, you can use Snowy Castle Totems to increase your damage inside the Snowy Castle stages.

These items are sold by Forbidden Teacher through the Raid Shop. Each Totem costs 75 Raid Tokens and gives your units another 10% damage while fighting inside Snowy Castle.

The bonus stacks, so collecting five Totems gives you a total of 50% extra damage.

Snowy Castle Totem Cost and Damage

You can buy the Totems one at a time as you collect enough Raid Tokens. The more you own, the bigger your Snowy Castle damage bonus becomes.

The costs work like this:

  • 1 Totem: 75 Raid Tokens — +10% damage
  • 2 Totems: 150 Raid Tokens — +20% damage
  • 3 Totems: 225 Raid Tokens — +30% damage
  • 4 Totems: 300 Raid Tokens — +40% damage
  • 5 Totems: 375 Raid Tokens — +50% damage

Five Totems are the main target because the 50% damage increase can make a huge difference in Act 3. This is especially helpful if your roster is missing some of the required Unbound carries.

How to Farm Raid Tokens in Snowy Castle Act 2

Snowy Castle Act 2 is the best place to farm the Raid Tokens needed for the Totems. Each successful clear gives 15 Raid Tokens, so you need around 25 successful runs to collect enough for all five Totems.

The good thing is that you can set up Auto Play and let Act 2 repeat automatically. This makes the grind much easier, especially if you need to collect hundreds of Tokens.

Snowy Castle Act 2 can also give you a chance to obtain the Eclipse Hunter unit, giving you another reason to farm the stage.

Snowy Castle Act 2 Auto Farm Setup

Before starting your farm, set up Auto Play correctly. A wrong setting can cause the game to move to another act or stop the farming loop.

1. Enter Snowy Castle Act 2

Start Snowy Castle Act 2 and position your character close to the enemy spawn area. After that, turn on Auto Play.

Your starting position is important because the automation uses it as part of the placement setup.

2. Turn on Auto Retry

Open the gameplay settings and make these changes:

  • Auto Retry: ON
  • Auto Next: OFF

Auto Retry allows the game to start another Act 2 run after you win. Auto Next should stay off because you do not want the game moving into another act.

3. Configure Auto-Sell and Auto-Upgrade

You should also enable:

  • Auto-Sell Farms on Last Wave: ON
  • Strict Auto-Upgrade Priority: ON

Auto-Sell allows your farms to be sold when they are no longer needed, giving you more Yen for the final part of the run.

Strict Auto-Upgrade Priority makes the game follow the upgrade order you selected instead of choosing upgrades automatically.

4. Put Cheap Farms in Slots 1 and 2

Your unit order matters when using Auto Play. The system places units from left to right based on their slots.

Put your cheapest farms into:

  • Slot 1: Farm
  • Slot 2: Farm

This lets the Auto Play system start generating Yen quickly. Avoid putting an expensive damage unit in the first slot because it can delay your opening placements.

5. Set Your Auto-Upgrade Priorities

After arranging your units, set the upgrade priorities like this:

  • Slots 1 and 2: Farms — Priority 1
  • Slot 4: Main DPS — Priority 2
  • Slot 5: Sub-DPS — Priority 3
  • Slot 6: Support — Auto Upgrade OFF

This setup makes the farms receive upgrades first, followed by your main damage dealer and then your secondary damage unit.

Support units can be left without automatic upgrades if they do not need them to keep the farm running.

6. Start the Auto Farm

Start the run and make sure the Auto Playing indicator stays active.

If everything is configured correctly, the game should continue running Act 2 after each successful clear. Each victory should give you 15 Raid Tokens, allowing you to slowly build up enough currency for the five Snowy Castle Totems.

How to Know Your Raid Token Farm Is Working

After completing an Act 2 run, check the victory screen. You should see a 15x Raid Token reward listed with your other rewards.

If Auto Retry is working correctly, the game should automatically start another run instead of stopping at the victory screen.

If the game stops, check your Auto Play settings and make sure:

  • Auto Retry is ON.
  • Auto Next is OFF.
  • Your unit slots are arranged correctly.
  • Your upgrade priorities are still active.
  • Auto Playing is enabled.

How to Buy Snowy Castle Totems

Once you have enough Raid Tokens, return to the Raid Shop and talk to Forbidden Teacher.

Buy the Snowy Castle Totems one by one until you have five. You will need a total of 375 Raid Tokens for the full set.

The Totems work automatically after you own them. There is no separate equipment or activation process needed before entering Snowy Castle.

How to Check Your Totem Bonus

After purchasing a Totem, check your item collection to make sure the item was added correctly. Your owned Totems can be viewed from the items menu. The damage bonus is applied passively whenever you play a Snowy Castle stage. You do not need to place the Totem on the map or activate it during the match. Five Totems will give your units the full 50% Snowy Castle damage bonus.

Do not leave your Auto Farm running while trying to purchase Totems. You should buy them between Act 2 runs. Leaving an active match can interrupt the Auto Retry setup. When you return to the game, you may need to enable Auto Play again before the farming loop continues. A simple approach is to stop the farm after collecting enough Tokens, buy your Totems, then restart the Act 2 Auto Farm if you still need more Tokens.

Can You Solo Snowy Castle Act 3 Without Totems?

Yes, but your team needs to be strong enough to pass the damage check. The easiest no-Totem setup uses Unbound Sinbad, Unbound Judar, and Unbound Cubert, with Salmon Sorcerer, Stone Alchemist, and Forbidden Teacher supporting them.

If you are missing one or more of those Unbound units, the Totem method is much more forgiving. Farming Act 2 for 375 Raid Tokens takes time, but five Snowy Castle Totems provide a 50% damage increase that can make Act 3 much easier.

For most players, the choice is simple: use the three Unbound carries if you already have them, or spend some time farming Act 2 and build up the Totem bonus before attempting Snowy Castle Act 3.
