S-Tier Emotians
S-Tier characters are the strongest overall choices. They have abilities that can help them survive on their own while still providing useful effects during multiplayer games.
Centrion – Tank
Centrion is one of the safest characters to use in Emotia Escape thanks to his focus on blocking incoming damage. His abilities are built around survival, making him useful when you’re trying to reach the next floor without getting eliminated.
His skills also fit the idea of balance by allowing him to protect himself without becoming completely useless to the rest of the team. This makes Centrion a strong choice for both solo players and multiplayer groups.
Skills:
- Tank: Gives Centrion a 30% chance to block the first attack received on each floor.
- Blessing of Balance: Blocks one instance of HP damage during the Emolite minigame.
Lila – Distraction
Lila is another excellent all-around choice, especially when enemies start chasing you. Her abilities focus on movement and distraction, giving her several ways to escape dangerous situations.
Her movement speed bonus helps her create distance from Emovils, while her clone can pull enemies away after she takes damage. These abilities work well whether you’re playing alone or trying to keep yourself alive while helping a multiplayer team.

A-Tier Emotians
A-Tier Emotians are still very strong choices, but their abilities are more specialized than the characters in S-Tier. They can perform extremely well when their strengths match the situation.
Losten – Completionist
Losten is a great option for players who want to focus on completing Emolite devices. His abilities can reduce the amount of work needed during a run while also giving him a way to slow enemies.
His automatic completion effect is especially useful in solo play because it can finish an unattended Emolite without requiring a player to stand next to it. In multiplayer, it can also help the team make progress while everyone focuses elsewhere.
Skills:
- X-5529: Has a 20% chance to automatically complete an Emolite without a player on it once per floor.
- A-1523: When Losten takes damage, he creates a puddle that slows nearby enemies by 50% for 3 seconds.
Nvee – Self-Preservation
Nvee specializes in staying alive. Her abilities give her several ways to escape after being hit, making her particularly useful for players who often find themselves targeted by enemies.
Her first ability can remove enemy aggression, while her second can teleport her away from danger. Because these tools can save her from bad situations, Nvee works well in both solo runs and team-based games.
Skills:
- Stealth: After taking damage, Nvee loses enemy aggro and becomes undetectable for 5 seconds. She cannot sprint while this effect is active.
- Shadow Step: After taking damage, Nvee teleports to the closest teammate who is at least 20 studs away. If there is no suitable teammate, she teleports to a random safe location.
B-Tier Emotians
B-Tier characters are decent choices, but their abilities are more focused on specific situations. They can still be useful, especially when their particular strengths match your playstyle.
Echo – Seeker
Echo is built around gathering information. Her abilities can reveal Emolite devices and nearby Emovils, which can make exploring floors much easier.
The main problem is that her information-gathering abilities are not as useful in multiplayer when teammates cannot easily see or understand the exact information she receives. For that reason, Echo is arguably more useful for solo players.
Skills:
- Echolocation: After taking damage, reveals the locations of Emolites for 5 seconds.
- Focus: Reveals the nearest Emovil within 15 studs.
C-Tier Emotian
C-Tier characters are more difficult to recommend because their abilities provide limited value compared with higher-ranked options. They can still work if you enjoy their playstyle, but there are generally better choices available.
Kindle – Buffer
Kindle is designed primarily as a support character. Her abilities are focused on helping nearby teammates rather than improving her own survival.
This makes her more suitable for multiplayer than solo play. Unfortunately, her support effects are not strong enough to put her higher on the list, especially when compared with characters that can both protect themselves and contribute to the team.
Skills:
- Sacrifice: When Kindle loses HP, she restores 1 HP to nearby allies within 7 studs. The effect does not restore HP to Kindle herself.
- Wave of Devotion: When Kindle takes damage, enemies within 5 studs are knocked back.
D-Tier Emotian
D-Tier is currently occupied by the game’s beginner-friendly option. Glee is easy to understand and can still be useful, but her abilities lack the impact offered by the higher-tier Emotians.
Glee
Glee is a straightforward character that focuses on movement and stamina support. Her permanent speed increase is helpful when escaping enemies, which makes her perfectly usable in both solo and multiplayer.
However, there is not much depth to her abilities, and her overall utility is lower than most other characters. She is a fine starting choice while learning Emotia Escape, but experienced players will generally have better options.

- Endless Happiness: Provides a 5% movement speed increase.
- Dance Time: Taking damage restores 15% Stamina to Glee and allies within 20 studs.
Which Emotian Should You Choose?
Your best character depends on whether you’re playing alone or with a team, but some Emotians are much more flexible than others.
For the strongest overall choices, Centrion and Lila are the easiest recommendations. Centrion offers reliable damage protection, while Lila combines movement speed with an emergency distraction tool.
For more specialized playstyles, Losten is excellent for players focused on Emolite completion, while Nvee is a strong pick if surviving enemy attacks is your main concern. Solo players may also get more value from Echo because of his ability to reveal important locations.
If you’re still learning the game, Glee is simple enough to use without needing to understand complicated mechanics. Once you’re more comfortable with Emotia Escape, though, moving to a higher-tier character should give you more useful tools for surviving each floor.
The best Emotia Escape characters are the ones that can remain useful when a run becomes unpredictable. Survival abilities are especially valuable because a strong character can save you after taking damage instead of relying entirely on teammates.
