League Classic Icon Codes: How to Redeem All Free Icons!

League Classic brings back the early days of League of Legends, giving players a chance to experience the game as it was between 2009 and 2012. The mode features an old-school version of Summoner’s Rift, classic items, original rune and mastery systems, and 60 champions based on their older designs.

To celebrate the launch, Riot Games is also offering several free League Classic champion icons. These rewards feature classic artwork for some of the game’s oldest champions. However, the codes are only available for a limited time, so redeeming them quickly is recommended.

All League Classic Icon Codes

There are currently several codes available for free classic champion icons. Each code unlocks a specific icon that can be used on your League of Legends profile.

How to Redeem League Classic Icon Codes

The easiest way to claim the free icons is through Riot Games’ official code redemption page. You will need to sign into the Riot account connected to your League of Legends account before entering the codes. Follow these steps:

1. Open the Riot Games code redemption page.
2. Sign in to your Riot account.
3. Enter one of the League Classic icon codes.
4. Press Enter.
5. Select Redeem Code on the confirmation screen.
6. Repeat the process for the remaining codes.
7. Open the League of Legends client and check your Collection.

The icons should become available in your account after successful redemption. Riot notes that rewards can take up to 24 hours to appear, although they may arrive much sooner for most players.

How to Redeem Codes in the League Client

You do not necessarily need to use the Riot website to redeem the codes. League of Legends also has an option for entering prepaid cards and promotional codes directly through the client.

To redeem a League Classic code from the client:

1. Open the League of Legends client.
2. Look at the top-right corner near your RP balance.
3. Click the plus (+) icon beside your RP.
4. Select Prepaid Cards & Codes.
5. Enter your League Classic code.
6. Accept the terms shown at the bottom.
7. Redeem the code and wait for the reward to be added.

Once the redemption is complete, check your Collection for the new champion icon.

Where to Find Your League Classic Icons

After redeeming a code, the icon should be added to your League of Legends account. You can then open your Collection and select the profile icon you want to use.

One useful thing about these rewards is that profile icons are not limited to League Classic. Unlike certain Classic-specific cosmetics, the icons can be displayed across the League of Legends client and used regardless of which game mode you play.

That makes these free rewards more useful for players who want to keep a piece of the Classic era on their account even when playing the modern version of League of Legends.

Expired League Classic Icon Codes

Some League Classic codes have already expired. These codes cannot be redeemed anymore, but they are worth keeping on the list so players can distinguish them from currently active rewards.
