Carnival Rush is the newest limited-time event in Clash of Critters. The event runs for 14 days and adds a collection of quests, daily activities, and server-wide milestones that can give players extra rewards.
You can access Carnival Rush from the event button in the top-right corner of the screen. The event is designed to reward players for participating regularly, and the more the server contributes, the more milestone rewards can be unlocked.
Among the available rewards are Wishing Boxes, Capsules, Bento-related rewards, Pinballs, and decorations that can be used around your camp.
How Carnival Rush Works
The main feature of Carnival Rush is the Wishing Machine. Every activation requires one Wishing Coin, which can be earned by completing the event quests and phase quests.
The Wishing Machine gives you several reward symbols. Matching symbols can increase the rewards you receive. For example, landing matching lower-tier symbols can give additional Pinballs, while better combinations can reward items such as Wishing Boxes, Capsules, Candies, or Bento rewards.
Each activation also contributes to the server-wide play counter. This means your individual spins aren’t only useful for your own rewards, as they also help the entire server reach the event milestones displayed at the top of the event screen.
The default chance of drawing a prize is 70%. When a reward is doubled, the chance of drawing a prize becomes 100%.
One of the more valuable outcomes is the Double Rewards effect. Its listed chance is 7%, while the grand prize with doubled rewards has a 1% chance.
Wishing Coins and Event Quests
Wishing Coins are the main currency used by the Wishing Machine. You can obtain them from both regular event quests and phase quests. Event quests are refreshed based on the currently active event and remain available until Carnival Rush ends. Be careful when a quest refreshes because completed rewards that haven’t been claimed can be lost.
Phase quests work differently. New phases become available as the event progresses, with phases unlocking on the first, third, fifth, and seventh days. Some phase quests include your previous progress. These quests are clearly marked, meaning progress made before the phase becomes available can still count toward the objective.
Other quests only begin tracking after they have been unlocked, so don’t assume every objective will automatically record progress from the start.
Carnival Rush Phase 1 Quests
The first phase introduces several objectives that focus on the basic activities available in Clash of Critters. You will need to complete objectives such as:
- Dig up 10 treasures.
- Log in for a total of 2 days.
- Feed Tatari 30 times.
- Harvest 300 Pinballs.
- Play Boss Challenge.
- Land 10 Pinballs.
The treasure objective requires you to actually obtain treasure pieces during Treasure Hunt rather than simply starting the activity. Once you reach the required amount, you can claim the corresponding quest reward.
Carnival Rush Phase 2 Quests
Phase 2 adds more objectives and starts asking you to participate in several different game modes. The requirements include:
- Attack one time in Island Gold Rush.
- Feed Tatari 60 times.
- Kill 30 enemies in Gold Rush.
- Join Horde Invasion three times.
These quests encourage you to spread your activity across different parts of the game instead of focusing on only one mode.
If you’re already participating in Gold Rush and Horde Invasion regularly, you should be able to make progress on several of these objectives naturally.
Carnival Rush Phase 3 Quests
Phase 3 has considerably larger requirements and introduces more progression-based tasks.
The objectives include:
- Log in for a total of 6 days during the event.
- Obtain 150 Tataris.
- Feed Tatari 100 times.
- Obtain 20 cards from Card Packs.
- Craft 8 Bentos in the Bento Maker.
- Trigger the raid minigame 5 times.
The Tatari requirement is marked as including prior progress, so any qualifying Tataris you obtained before reaching this phase can contribute toward the total.
The raid minigame objective appears to refer to Radish Run, making it another activity you’ll want to keep checking as you progress through the event.
Carnival Rush Phase 4 Quests
The final phase contains some of the biggest objectives in Carnival Rush. You’ll need to stay active throughout the event if you want to finish everything.
Phase 4 requires:
- Log in for a total of 9 days.
- Obtain 200 Data.
- Feed Tatari 150 times.
- Shoot 3,000 Pinballs.
- Complete one Card Trade.
- Purchase 10 Camp Buildings.
The login requirement makes it especially important to play regularly. Since Carnival Rush lasts 14 days, you have enough time to reach nine login days as long as you don’t leave the event until the final few days.
The Pinball objective is also much larger than the earlier requirements, so it’s worth saving and using Pinballs consistently instead of waiting until the end.
Server-Wide Carnival Rush Rewards
Carnival Rush isn’t completely individual. Every Wishing Machine activation contributes to the server-wide participation counter.
As the community reaches different milestones, additional rewards can become available. These rewards can include Wishing Boxes, Capsules, and decorations for the entire camp.
The game warns that server data may experience delays, so milestone progress and reward delivery may not always update instantly.
Because of this, it’s worth checking the event page again if you believe you’ve reached a milestone but don’t immediately see the reward.
How to Get the Most Carnival Rush Rewards
The easiest way to maximize your rewards is to treat Carnival Rush as a daily checklist rather than something to complete at the end.
Log in each day, check your active event quests, and work on the phase objectives whenever possible. Activities such as Treasure Hunt, Gold Rush, Boss Challenge, Horde Invasion, Card Packs, Bento crafting, and Pinball shooting can all contribute to different objectives.
It’s also a good idea to claim completed quest rewards before they refresh. Unclaimed rewards can be lost when the relevant quests are refreshed.
For Wishing Machine activations, keep collecting Wishing Coins through quests and use them before the event ends. Since every activation also contributes toward the server-wide meter, participating helps both your own progression and the overall event.
Carnival Rush Duration
Carnival Rush lasts for 14 days. The phase system means you won’t have access to every objective immediately, with new phases becoming available throughout the event.
This gives you plenty of time to work through the requirements, but don’t wait until the final day. Several objectives require repeated activities, including logging in, feeding Tatari, shooting Pinballs, playing specific modes, and collecting various items.
Later objectives also appear to move into other activities, including Zobo Shooter, which may become relevant around the later part of the event.
Carnival Rush is a straightforward event, but there are plenty of objectives to work through if you want to collect every available reward.
The most important thing is to play consistently for the full 14 days. Complete your event quests, keep an eye on the phase requirements, use your Wishing Coins, and contribute to the server-wide Wishing Machine progress.
Since the event doesn’t require you to spend anything to participate, there’s little reason to ignore it. Even when the Wishing Machine gives you a small Pinball or Candy reward, those extras can add up over the course of two weeks.
