How Good Is Almighty Yhwach in Legacy Piece Guide!

Yhwach, also known as the Quincy King, is one of the major endgame additions in Legacy Piece. Unlike Ichigo’s Blood Chains, Yhwach is obtained through a longer progression involving the Quincy race, Stern Ritter bosses, and several farming quests.

The reward is more than just a new ability. Yhwach is actually a style with its own moveset, weapon effects, and the ability to summon Stern Ritters to fight alongside you. After completing another questline, you can also unlock the Almighty transformation.

How to Get the Quincy Race

The first thing you need before working toward Yhwach is the Quincy race. Travel to the new island and speak with the NPC there to begin the required progression. You initially need 250 Reishi Fragments. These can be farmed by defeating Quincy mobs around the island. Once you have collected enough fragments, switch your character back to the Human race and interact with the NPC again.

This starts the “Awaken Your Blood” quest, which requires you to defeat 500 Quincy enemies. Completing the quest will unlock the Quincy race. The Quincy race also comes with several useful buffs, including a flat Critical Rate increase, making it a solid choice for combat.

Start the Letters of the King Quest

Once you have the Quincy race, you can begin the Letters of the King questline. This is where the Yhwach progression becomes more demanding.

For the first part, you need:

• 20 Reishi Fragments
• 50 Quincy kills in the server

After meeting these requirements, travel to one of the statues and use it to spawn a Stern Ritter boss.

You need to repeat this process for all five Stern Ritter bosses, so be prepared to spend some time farming and fighting.

Defeat All Five Stern Ritter Bosses

There are five Stern Ritter bosses that need to be defeated as part of the Yhwach progression. Each boss is connected to a different Quincy power and provides its own drop.

The fights can take some time, especially if your character is not properly built for endgame content. Make sure you have enough damage and survivability before attempting to farm them repeatedly.

After all five Stern Ritters have been defeated, the normal Yhwach boss will become available.

Defeat the Quincy King

The next major fight is against Yhwach himself. Your goal is to obtain the Quincy King’s Soul from the boss.

After obtaining the required item, you will also need to collect the five letters dropped by the Stern Ritter bosses. These items are part of the next stage of the progression.

Once you have everything required, return to the NPC and inscribe the items to continue the quest.

There is also another farming step where you need Yhwach’s drops. Keep defeating the boss until you have collected everything required for the next part.

Unlock Yhwach Style

After collecting the required materials, return to the NPC and complete the inscription step. You will need two of each required Schrift item to finish this part of the progression.

One interesting detail is that Yhwach is a style rather than a normal ability. This means you equip it similarly to other combat styles instead of treating it as a standalone ability.

The style also comes with a unique weapon trail while walking, giving the character a distinct visual effect.

Yhwach Style Moveset

The base Yhwach style already has a strong-looking moveset. Its attacks are built around the Quincy King’s abilities and give the style a different feel compared with the other options available in Legacy Piece.

One of the most interesting moves lets you summon a Stern Ritter of your choice.

The summoned Stern Ritter stays near you and attacks enemies in the surrounding area. Each Stern Ritter uses their own Schrift moves and has a proper character model rather than simply acting as a basic summon.

This makes the summon more than just a visual effect and gives Yhwach another useful option during combat.

How to Unlock Almighty

Getting Yhwach is only the beginning if you want the full Quincy King setup. After unlocking the Yhwach style, return to the same NPC and choose the Almighty option.

This starts another questline.

Most of the Almighty quests are fairly straightforward, but one particular objective can be confusing because Legacy Piece has two different Yhwach boss encounters.

Understanding the difference between these two bosses is important if you are stuck on the quest.

Normal Yhwach vs Global Yhwach

The Yhwach that you spawn after defeating the five Stern Ritters is the normal boss. This is the version used during the earlier part of the Yhwach progression.

The other version is the global Yhwach boss that appears through the global event. When the event begins, you receive a prompt allowing you to join or decline the battle.

For the Almighty quest, you need to fight the global event version.

This is likely to be the hardest part for many players because the global boss is designed as a tougher encounter. If you are progressing through the Almighty quest and your normal Yhwach kills are not counting, make sure you are fighting the event version instead.

Yhwach Almighty Transformation

After completing the Almighty questline, you can finally access Yhwach’s Almighty transformation.

The transformation significantly changes how the character functions. Its passive is powerful and is designed around Yhwach’s ability to interact with different combat systems.

However, there is an important limitation. While using Almighty, you cannot freely use your other abilities, styles, or weapons.

This means the transformation is not simply a permanent upgrade that lets you combine everything in your loadout. You need to commit to the Almighty form while using it.

Is Almighty Yhwach Good?

Almighty Yhwach is clearly aimed at players who have already reached the endgame. The amount of farming required, the Stern Ritter fights, the Yhwach bosses, and the global event all make the progression much longer than a normal unlock.

The style itself has a lot going for it. The moveset looks strong, the weapon effects are impressive, and the Stern Ritter summon gives you an additional source of damage during fights.

Almighty adds another layer to the style, but its restrictions mean you need to understand when the transformation is worth using.

Should You Get Yhwach?

If you are already an endgame player in Legacy Piece, Yhwach is definitely worth working toward. The progression is long, but you receive an entire style with a unique moveset rather than just a single ability.

The Stern Ritter summon is also one of the more interesting parts of the style because you can choose which Ritter to call and have them fight alongside you.

For newer players, however, this is not an easy unlock. The update is designed around endgame progression, so you will likely need a strong build and enough time to farm the required materials and bosses.

Yhwach Build and Damage

Keep in mind that the maximum damage shown in showcases should not automatically be treated as the standard damage you will get. Yhwach’s performance depends heavily on your build, enchantments, stats, and equipment. A showcase without a dedicated damage build can also produce different results from a fully optimized setup.

The update has also received balance changes and nerfs, so the performance of Yhwach can change over time. If you are building around the style, check the current version of the game before copying an older build.

Yhwach is one of the more ambitious endgame additions in Legacy Piece. Unlocking him requires the Quincy race, hundreds of Quincy kills, Reishi Fragments, all five Stern Ritter bosses, Yhwach’s drops, and several quest objectives.

The payoff is a unique Quincy King style with a strong moveset and the ability to summon Stern Ritters. Players who continue through the additional Almighty questline can take the build even further with the Almighty transformation.
