Storage Hunters Wild West Event Guide, All You Need to Know!

Storage Hunters has added a new Wild West event with a new currency, special auctions, new mutators, and several limited-time rewards. The event only lasts for two weeks, so players have a limited amount of time to collect Gold Nuggets and use them before the event ends.

The biggest reward from this event is the Cowboy Classic Car, a limited vehicle that can only be obtained while the Wild West event is active. There are also new ways to earn Gold Nuggets, including horse racing, bounty hunting, and defending the Wild West town.

Here is everything you need to know about the event and the best ways to collect its limited currency.

How to Start the Wild West Event in Storage Hunters

The Wild West event is automatically available to everyone while the event is active. You do not need to complete a quest or unlock anything first. After joining Storage Hunters during the event period, you can immediately find Wild West content around the map. Several event-themed auction garages have also been added, including locations such as the Saloon and Bank.

These garages contain Wild West items, mutators, and other event rewards. There are also special Gold Nugget Safe auctions that can help you collect the event currency. The easiest way to get started is to join an event auction and begin winning Wild West garages. Once you collect your first Gold Nuggets, you can start using the other farming methods available around the map.

How to Get Gold Nuggets in Storage Hunters

Gold Nuggets are the main currency for the Wild West event. There are five different ways to get them, so you do not have to rely on auctions alone.

The best approach is to combine several methods during the same session. Some activities have cooldowns or only appear at certain times, so switching between them can help you continue earning Nuggets while waiting for another activity.

Method 1: Find Gold Nugget Safes in Auctions

Gold Nugget Safes can appear inside some Wild West auction garages. If you win an auction containing one of these safes, collect it from the garage and open it to receive Gold Nuggets. This is one of the easiest methods because it fits directly into your normal auction gameplay. You do not need to travel somewhere else or stop playing auctions just to collect the currency. Whenever you see a Gold Nugget Safe available in an event garage, it is worth going after it.

Method 2: Use the Gold Panner Tool

The Gold Panner is another useful way to collect Gold Nuggets. Gold Panner tools can be found inside Wild West event auctions. Once you win an auction containing one, you can equip the tool and travel to the panning locations around the map.

Unlike a one-time reward, the Gold Panner can be used multiple times. This makes it a good option for players who want a repeatable way to farm Gold Nuggets. Keep an eye out for garages containing the tool while completing Wild West auctions.

Method 3: Participate in Horse Racing

Horse racing is another activity introduced with the Wild West event. You can join the horse races in the event area and compete against other players. Your finishing position determines how many Gold Nuggets you receive.

Horse racing is not always available, as races take place at fixed intervals. Because of this, it is a good idea to check the event area between auctions and other activities. If a race is about to start, joining it gives you another chance to collect Nuggets without spending anything.

Method 4: Complete Bounties

Bounty hunting gives you another way to earn Gold Nuggets during the Wild West event. You can visit the Sheriff NPC in the event area to find available bounty targets. Once you accept a bounty, track down the target and complete the objective to receive your reward.

Bounties are not necessarily available all the time, so check back when they respawn. If you are already exploring the map while doing auctions or panning for gold, completing a bounty can be a good way to earn additional Nuggets without wasting your time.

Method 5: Defend the Wild West Town

The final Gold Nugget method is the Wild West town defense event. During the event period, a Wild West town defense activity can appear on the map. Join the event and help protect the town from the incoming threat.

Successfully defending the town gives you Gold Nuggets as a reward. This is another activity worth completing whenever it appears, especially if you are trying to collect enough currency for multiple Market spins.

How to Use Gold Nuggets in Storage Hunters

Gold Nuggets can be spent at the Wild West Market, which is located in the event area. The Market works through spins. Each spin costs 200 Gold Nuggets, and you receive one of the available event rewards.

The main reason to save your Nuggets is the chance to obtain the Cowboy Classic Car. It has a very low drop rate, so you may need to collect a large number of Nuggets if you want to have multiple attempts.

The Cowboy Classic Car is a limited vehicle and cannot be obtained after September 26, 2026.

Because of this, make sure you spend your remaining Gold Nuggets before the event ends.

All Wild West Event Rewards

The Wild West Market has several different rewards, ranging from useful potions to the exclusive Cowboy Classic Car.

Here are all of the possible rewards:

  • Cowboy Classic Car — Epic — 0.5% drop chance. A drivable limited-edition vehicle.
  • Grade Removal Potion — Mythical — 1% drop chance. Removes the grade from an item.
  • Mutator Extractor Potion — Mythical — 2% drop chance. Removes one mutator from an item of your choice.
  • Premium Certificate of Authenticity — Legendary — 3.8% drop chance. Can be used at the Authenticator to give an item Premium Certification.
  • Free Grade Re-Roll Potion — Legendary — 5.2% drop chance. Gives you a free reroll for your next Replica or 1-Star Grading.
  • Wild West Luck Drink — Epic — 8.8% drop chance. Gives +50% luck in Wild West Auctions for 10 minutes.
  • Fast Grading Potion — Epic — 17.5% drop chance. Makes grading 50% faster for the next 10 minutes.
  • Auction Rush Potion — Rare — 26.2% drop chance. Removes the auction cooldown for 10 minutes.
  • Unlimited Xray Alien Potion — Rare — 35% drop chance. Automatically X-rays auctions for 10 minutes.

Each Market spin costs 200 Gold Nuggets.

All Wild West Mutators

The Wild West update also adds four new mutators that can be found in the event’s special auction garages.

These include:

  • Dusty — Found in Wild West event auction garages. Items with this mutator can be washed for a chance to upgrade it.
  • Tumbleweed — Found in Wild West event auction garages and limited to the event period.
  • Gunsmoked — Found in Wild West event auction garages and limited to the event period.
  • Goldrush — Found in Wild West event auction garages and limited to the event period.

There is also another special mutator called Saloon Sparkle.

Unlike the other four, Saloon Sparkle does not appear directly in Wild West auctions. Instead, you can get it by washing an item with the Dusty mutator.

Every time you wash a Dusty item, there is a chance that the Dusty mutator will be changed into Saloon Sparkle.

What Happens to the Wild West Mutators After the Event?

The four new Wild West mutators and the Saloon Sparkle upgrade are limited-time content.

After the event ends, new items will no longer be able to receive these mutators. However, any items that already have one of these mutators will keep it.

This means event-mutated items can become more interesting to collectors after the event is over, since players will no longer be able to obtain new versions of them.

Best Way to Farm Gold Nuggets

If your main goal is to get the Cowboy Classic Car, you should avoid relying on only one farming method.

Start by joining Wild West auctions and look for Gold Nugget Safes or the Gold Panner tool. While waiting for another auction or event activity, check whether a bounty is available or whether a horse race is starting.

You should also join the Wild West town defense whenever it appears.

Once you have collected enough Nuggets, spend them at the Wild West Market. Each spin costs 200 Nuggets, so saving your currency for several spins gives you more chances at the rare rewards.

The Wild West event gives Storage Hunters players several new activities to try while adding a separate currency and a group of limited rewards.

Gold Nuggets can be earned from Gold Nugget Safes, the Gold Panner, horse racing, bounty hunting, and town defense. Combining these methods is the best way to keep your Nugget count growing throughout the event.

The Cowboy Classic Car is the main prize to chase, but the Market also contains several useful potions and other items. Just remember that the event and its new mutators are limited-time content, with the Cowboy Classic Car unavailable after September 26, 2026. If you want the exclusive rewards, it is worth starting your Gold Nugget farming as early as possible.
