Finding the right NPC in Grand Blue can take longer than expected, especially when you are still learning the map. Important characters are spread across Anchor Town, Clown Town, and Maple Village, with each island focusing on different parts of the game.

Some NPCs teach fighting styles, while others give quests, sell equipment, handle farming, or unlock useful services. Knowing where they are can save you a lot of unnecessary running around. This Grand Blue NPC guide covers the important trainers, quest givers, and shop NPCs you can find across the three main islands.

The Three Main Islands in Grand Blue

Grand Blue currently has three major islands where most of the important NPCs can be found. Each area is designed for a different stage of progression, so you will gradually move between them as you level up.

  • Anchor Town — Level 1-30. This is the starting area and contains basic quests, trainers, shops, and the Marine Base.
  • Clown Town — Level 30-70. This island is focused on stronger equipment, weapons, new quests, and the Loki questline.
  • Maple Village — Level 70+. This is the later-game area with better ships, farming equipment, and higher-level quests.

Grand Blue has a lot of NPCs spread across its three main islands, and remembering every location can be difficult when you are still exploring the game. Anchor Town handles most of the early-game trainers, quests, and basic shops, while Clown Town becomes important for mid-game progression and Maple Village takes over for many late-game activities.

If you are looking for a specific fighting style, quest, weapon, fishing item, farming supply, or ship, use the locations above to find the correct NPC without wasting time searching the entire map. As you progress through Grand Blue, learning where these characters are will make travelling between quests and activities much easier.
