Yuta Lineage Piece Guide, How to Get & Obtain Mastery!
Yuta is one of the characters you can unlock in Lineage Piece, and getting him requires quite a bit of grinding. Most of his content is connected to Shinjuku Island, where you will need to complete several quests, defeat different enemies, and collect special items before you can finally start farming Yuta.
After unlocking the character, there is another set of requirements if you want to get Yuta Mastery. This will unlock his additional moves and allow him to use several powerful Curse Techniques. Here is everything you need to do to get Yuta and complete his mastery.
How to Get Yuta

Almost everything related to Yuta can be found on Shinjuku Island. You can find a Yuta seller NPC there, while most of the materials needed for his character can be obtained by defeating the Yuta boss. However, you cannot immediately fight Yuta because you first need to complete a quest from the Inumaki NPC.
The first step is to speak with Inumaki and start the quest for the Student ID Card. You will need to complete several tasks using either a Katana or Combat. The required quests are:
- Deal 3 million damage using Katana or Combat.
- Defeat 150 Sorcerer Students using Katana or Combat in Jujutsu Highland.
- Defeat 75 Jujutsu High bosses using Katana or Combat.
- Defeat 35 bosses on Shinjuku Island using Katana or Combat.
- Break 15 Shrines around Shinjuku Island.
For the Shinjuku Island boss requirement, there is no specific difficulty requirement. Because of this, you can use Easy Mode to finish the task faster if you have enough damage to defeat the bosses quickly.
The shrine quest is slightly different. You need to find the shrines around Shinjuku Island and interact with them. Curses will appear after interacting with a shrine, so defeat them to destroy the shrine and progress the quest.
Once all of the requirements are completed, you will receive the Student ID Card. This allows you to move on to the next part of Yuta’s unlock process.
You then need to farm Cursed Seals on Shinjuku Island. These can be obtained by completing more shrine encounters. The Cursed Seals are used to spawn the Yuta boss, allowing you to repeatedly fight him and collect the materials needed for Yuta.
Keep farming the Yuta boss until you have all of the required drops. Once you have everything, you can use the materials to obtain Yuta from the appropriate NPC. The base version of Yuta comes with four moves, giving you a strong character to start with before working toward his mastery.
How to Get Yuta Mastery

After getting Yuta, you can begin working on his Mastery through the Mastery NPC. The first part requires you to deal damage while using Yuta and complete several Yuta-related objectives.
You will need to defeat Yuta on Hard and Extreme difficulty and equip the required title before you can continue to the Curse Technique part of the mastery.
The Curse Technique quests are important because they unlock the techniques that Yuta can eventually use through his mastery. You need to have the correct quest active before defeating the required boss, otherwise the technique may not be obtained.
The required Curse Techniques include:
- Shadow Curse Technique: Activate the quest, obtain the City Key, and defeat the Shadow Boss.
- Shadow Monarch Curse Technique: Defeat the Shadow Monarch Boss.
- Miyabi Curse Technique: Defeat the Miyabi Boss.
- Ichigo Curse Technique: Defeat the Ichigo Boss.
- Kokushibo Curse Technique: Defeat the Kokushibo Boss.
After completing the Curse Technique requirements, return to the Mastery NPC and continue the remaining objectives. You will then need two additional items: Geto’s Cursed Remnant and the Vow of Pure Love.
For these items, talk to the Maki NPC to access the Night Parade of 100 Demons raid. You need to use Yuta during the raid and defeat Geto before the time limit runs out. After that, you will have to fight Geto again with a higher amount of health.
Completing these fights gives you the two items required for the final part of Yuta Mastery.
Once everything is finished, Yuta Mastery unlocks his F and R moves. His F move can randomly use one of the Curse Techniques you previously farmed, giving Yuta access to several different abilities. His R move is also powerful and comes with a strong impact frame.
Getting Yuta in Lineage Piece is not a quick process because you need to complete several quests, destroy shrines, farm Cursed Seals, and repeatedly defeat the Yuta boss. The mastery takes even more work because of the additional Curse Techniques, Geto fights, and raid requirements.
However, the grind is worth it if you want one of the more interesting and powerful characters in the game. Yuta’s ability to use different Curse Techniques through his mastery also makes him a flexible choice for players who want more options during combat.
