How to Become a Demon in Slayer 2 Guide
Slayer 2 gives players the option to follow the Demon path instead of becoming a Slayer. However, becoming a Demon is not something you can do immediately after starting the game. You need to lower your reputation, find Muzan, complete his quests, and collect the items required for the transformation.
Once you become a Demon, you can also start working toward Evil Arts, which are the Demon version of Breathing techniques. Here is everything you need to know to unlock the Demon race in Slayer 2.
What You Need to Become Demon
How to Become a Demon in Slayer 2 Guide
Before looking for Muzan, there are a few requirements you need to prepare. The most important one is your reputation because Muzan will not appear for players who have not reached the required negative reputation.
You should prepare the following:
- Around -500 Reputation
- Access to the snow area
- Access to Mistfall Harbor
- Ability to complete Muzan’s quests
- A way to travel quickly between locations
- Space for the quest items you collect
To lower your reputation, you can defeat Slayer NPCs in the snow area. You can also attack civilians to lose reputation faster. The snow area can be found to the left of the Bear area, making it one of the easiest places to start lowering your reputation.
You do not need to stop at exactly -500, but getting your reputation sufficiently negative is important before searching for Muzan.
How to Unlock Demon
The first major step is lowering your reputation. Keep defeating Slayer NPCs or civilians until your reputation becomes negative enough. Once you have reached around -500 reputation, you can start looking for Muzan.
Muzan appears at Mistfall Harbor during the night. From the Bear area, travel toward the northern direction and use your compass to help locate the harbor. Make sure it is nighttime because Muzan does not simply remain available at the location all the time.
After finding Muzan, he will give you a bell. This item allows you to teleport to his domain, where you will complete the quests needed to obtain Muzan’s Blood.
Complete Muzan’s First Quest

Inside Muzan’s domain, you will receive a quest involving Dr. Higoshima. Your objective is to find him and bring him to the location marked by the quest.
Once you pick up the objective, Project Slayers 2 may spawn and start chasing you. You do not need to stop and fight them. The easiest method is to ignore the Project Slayers 2 and continue moving toward the marked location.
After completing the first quest, Muzan will give you another task.
Collect 9 Spider Lilies

The next requirement is collecting 9 Spider Lilies. These flowers can appear around the Water Training area and come in different colors, including red and blue.
Spider Lilies may take some time to appear, so server hopping can make this part much faster. If you cannot find enough flowers in your current server, move to another server and check the area again.
Keep collecting them until you have all 9 Spider Lilies required by Muzan’s quest.
Get Muzan’s Blood
After completing the required quests, you will receive Muzan’s Blood. This is the item that allows you to transform your character into a Demon.
Use Muzan’s Blood to start the transformation. Once you become a Demon, use the bell again to return to Muzan’s domain if you need to continue progressing through his quests.
After becoming a Demon, you can start taking Demon-related quests from Muzan. These quests can reward you with XP and cash, making them useful for continuing your progression.
Unlock an Evil Art
Becoming a Demon also gives you access to Evil Arts. These work similarly to Breathing styles for Project Slayers 2 and provide your character with special combat abilities. Some Evil Arts are easier to start with than others. Arrow Art is a good option for beginners because it is relatively straightforward to use. Blood Art is another option, although getting it requires additional preparation.
For Blood Art, you need Sickles, which can be obtained from a boss located inside the cave beneath the Bear area. Once you obtain your Evil Art item, use it to begin the corresponding questline. Complete the required training and objectives, then you will unlock the Evil Art.
After unlocking it, you can continue increasing its mastery and use the skill tree to unlock additional abilities.
Becoming a Demon in Slayer 2 requires some preparation, but the process is fairly straightforward once you know where to go. Start by lowering your reputation to around -500, find Muzan at Mistfall Harbor during the night, and complete his quests for Dr. Higoshima and the 9 Spider Lilies. After obtaining Muzan’s Blood, use it to transform into a Demon. From there, you can continue working on Muzan’s quests and unlock an Evil Art to build a stronger Demon character.
