How to Unlock All 4 New Evolution Nodes in Jujutsu Zero

The latest Jujutsu Zero update expands the Evolution system with four new nodes: Epitome, Paragon, Zenith, and Apotheosis. Each one provides powerful bonuses, but unlocking them requires high levels, rare materials, quests, and a large amount of Cursed Crystals and Yen.

The first three nodes extend the existing Evolution Tree, while Apotheosis becomes available only after all three previous nodes have been unlocked. Here is the complete progression and everything you need to prepare.

Evolution Requirements in Jujutsu Zero

The original Evolution system becomes available at Level 1,000. If you have not started it yet, you will need to complete the original Evolve quest before accessing the new nodes.

After completing that progression, the Vitality, Sorcery, and Defense trainers provide the materials required for the earlier Evolution upgrades. The new expansion then introduces two important NPCs: Shadow God and Light God.

Their quests cover Levels 6,000 through 10,000, so you will need to progress considerably before all four new nodes become available.

For Epitome, Paragon, and Zenith, several materials are shared:

  • 3 Divine Shards
  • 5 Enhanced Scrolls
  • 5,000 Cursed Crystals
  • 2,500 Stat Points
  • 25,000,000 Yen
  • 1 unique material from the corresponding quest

Divine Shards can be obtained from the new quests and the updated Infinite Raid drop pool. Enhanced Scrolls come from Infinity Crates, with a 7.4% drop chance, so it is worth saving them while working through the new content.

How to Unlock Epitome

Epitome is the first of the three new Evolution nodes. To begin its questline, travel to Shadow God and accept the Shadow Incarnations quest.

The quest requires you to be at Level 6,000 and defeat seven Shadow Incarnations. Once all seven have been defeated, completing the quest rewards you with a Divine Shard and the unique Shadow Weave material.

You can then use the Shadow Weave to unlock Epitome alongside the standard Evolution materials:

  • 1 Shadow Weave
  • 3 Divine Shards
  • 5 Enhanced Scrolls
  • 5,000 Cursed Crystals
  • 2,500 Stat Points
  • 25,000,000 Yen

Epitome Bonuses

Epitome focuses heavily on offensive stats, making it a strong choice for damage-focused builds. Once unlocked, it provides:

  • 250% Attack
  • 125 Flat Attack
  • 30% Critical Rate

The additional Critical Rate is particularly useful for builds that rely on critical hits, while the large Attack bonuses provide a direct boost to overall damage.

How to Unlock Paragon

The second node is Paragon, which focuses more on health, movement, and stamina. For this node, travel to Light God and accept the Divine Flame quest.

You need to reach Level 7,000 before the quest becomes available. Unlike the Shadow Incarnations quest, Divine Flame is primarily a collection objective. Follow the quest route and collect the required Divine Flame.

After finishing the quest, you receive one Divine Shard and one Divine Flame, which is the unique material required for Paragon.

The complete Paragon requirements are:

  • 1 Divine Flame
  • 3 Divine Shards
  • 5 Enhanced Scrolls
  • 5,000 Cursed Crystals
  • 2,500 Stat Points
  • 25,000,000 Yen

Paragon Bonuses

Paragon gives you several useful defensive and mobility improvements:

  • 250% Health
  • 5 additional Air Jumps
  • 3 additional Stamina Charges

These bonuses make Paragon useful for players who want more survivability while also improving their ability to move around the map and avoid attacks.

How to Unlock Zenith

The third node is Zenith, and its requirements are more complicated than Epitome and Paragon. Return to Shadow God and accept the Detachment quest once you reach Level 8,000. Unlike the previous quests, Detachment requires you to exchange several rare materials. You will need:

  • 15,000 Cursed Crystals
  • 5 Limitless Awakening Shards
  • 5 Divine Essences
  • 5 Star Awakening Shards
  • 5 Blood Awakening Shards
  • 10 Domain Fragments

Once the exchange is completed, you receive one Divine Shard and one Soul Weave. Soul Weave is the unique material required to unlock Zenith.

Where to Get Zenith Materials

The Awakening Shards come from specific raids, and you can farm whichever difficulty you can complete consistently.

  • Limitless Awakening Shards — Awaken Gojo Raid
  • Star Awakening Shards — Yuki Raid
  • Blood Awakening Shards — Choso Raid
  • Divine Essence — Chimera Crates
  • Domain Fragments — Several different crate types

Divine Essence is particularly difficult to obtain because Chimera Crates only have a 0.1% chance to provide it. These crates are obtained from the Megumi game mode raid.

Domain Fragments can also come from multiple crates. The listed chances include 0.4% from Valuable Crates, 0.3% from Strength Crates 1 and 2, 0.3% from Vessel Crates, and 0.1% from Chimera Crates.

After completing Detachment, you can spend the Soul Weave and the standard Evolution materials to unlock Zenith:

  • 1 Soul Weave
  • 3 Divine Shards
  • 5 Enhanced Scrolls
  • 5,000 Cursed Crystals
  • 2,500 Stat Points
  • 25,000,000 Yen

Remember that the 15,000 Cursed Crystals used for Detachment are separate from the 5,000 required for Zenith itself. Therefore, Zenith’s complete progression requires 20,000 Cursed Crystals.

Zenith Bonuses

Zenith is another offensive-focused node, particularly for critical-hit builds. It provides:

  • 10% Super Critical Damage
  • 250% Critical Damage
  • 15% Cooldown Reduction

The Critical Damage bonus becomes especially valuable if your build already has enough Critical Rate to trigger critical hits consistently. Cooldown Reduction also gives your abilities more frequent usage during combat.

How to Unlock Apotheosis

After unlocking Epitome, Paragon, and Zenith, you can finally move toward the fourth and final node: Apotheosis.

Apotheosis cannot be unlocked immediately or skipped to directly. All three previous Evolution nodes must be completed first.

Once you reach Level 10,000, travel to Light God and accept the Apotheosis quest. Your objective is to defeat Light God.

Completing the quest rewards you with:

  • 3 Divine Shards
  • 7 Divine Cores

The seven Divine Cores are important because Apotheosis has seven upgrade levels, with one Divine Core required for each level.

Apotheosis Upgrade Costs

Each Apotheosis level has exactly the same cost. Unlike some upgrade systems, the price does not increase as you move toward the maximum level.

Every level requires:

  • 1 Divine Core
  • 1 Divine Shard
  • 1 Enhanced Scroll
  • 2,500 Cursed Crystals
  • 750 Stat Points
  • 7,500,000 Yen

There are seven levels in total, meaning you need the following to fully max out Apotheosis:

  • 7 Divine Cores
  • 7 Divine Shards
  • 7 Enhanced Scrolls
  • 17,500 Cursed Crystals
  • 5,250 Stat Points
  • 52,500,000 Yen

What Does Apotheosis Give You?

Every Apotheosis level provides three different amplification bonuses. Each upgrade adds:

  • 1.5% Damage Amplification
  • 1.5% Cursed Technique Amplification
  • 1.5% Weapon Amplification

With all seven levels completed, the bonuses reach:

  • 10.5% Damage Amplification
  • 10.5% Cursed Technique Amplification
  • 10.5% Weapon Amplification

This makes Apotheosis especially useful for players who frequently change builds. Since its bonuses affect both Cursed Techniques and Weapons, you are not locked into a single playstyle to benefit from the node.

Total Materials for All 4 Evolution Nodes

If you want to unlock Epitome, Paragon, and Zenith, then fully upgrade Apotheosis, the total node costs become quite substantial.

You will need:

  • 1 Shadow Weave
  • 1 Divine Flame
  • 1 Soul Weave
  • 7 Divine Cores
  • 16 Divine Shards
  • 22 Enhanced Scrolls
  • 32,500 Cursed Crystals
  • 12,750 Stat Points
  • 127,500,000 Yen

These numbers cover the costs of purchasing the Evolution nodes themselves. The materials consumed during the Detachment quest are separate.

Since Detachment requires another 15,000 Cursed Crystals, your actual Cursed Crystal requirement rises to 47,500 when counting the complete Zenith progression.

New Vow Exchanges

The Shadow God and Light God also offer new Vow exchanges through their dialogue options. These are separate from the Evolution Tree but provide another way to improve existing Vows.

At Shadow God:

  • Level 6,000 unlocks Attack Vow 6.
  • At Level 8,000, exchange 3 Attack Vow 5 for 1 Attack Vow 6.
  • At Level 8,000, exchange 3 Sorcery Vow 5 for 1 Sorcery Vow 6.

At Light God:

  • Level 7,000 unlocks Defense Vow 6.
  • Exchange 3 Defense Vow 5 for 1 Defense Vow 6.
  • At Level 10,000, exchange 3 XP Vow ++ for 1 XP Vow +++.

These exchanges do not affect the Evolution costs, so you will need to farm the lower-tier Vows separately if you also want these upgrades.

The four new Evolution nodes give high-level Jujutsu Zero players a major reason to continue progressing after reaching the earlier Evolution milestones. Epitome is excellent for Attack and Critical Rate, Paragon improves Health and mobility, while Zenith focuses heavily on Critical Damage and Cooldown Reduction.

Apotheosis is the biggest long-term upgrade because its seven levels provide universal amplification for damage, Cursed Techniques, and Weapons. However, reaching the maximum level requires a huge amount of materials, so it is worth preparing your Cursed Crystals, Enhanced Scrolls, Stat Points, and Yen well before reaching Level 10,000.
