Fortnite Ironmouse Skin: How to Get It for Free
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is adding another major crossover, this time with VTuber Ironmouse. After an Ironmouse Sprite appeared near the end of Chapter 7 Season 3, the collaboration is now getting a much bigger release with an Icon Series outfit and several matching cosmetics.
Players who want the Ironmouse skin without spending V-Bucks can try their luck in the Ironmouse Icon Cup. The collaboration will also arrive in the Item Shop later, giving players another way to get the cosmetics if they miss the tournament.
How to Get the Ironmouse Skin for Free
The main way to unlock the Ironmouse skin without spending V-Bucks is by taking part in the Ironmouse Icon Cup. Players who achieve the required placement in their region can receive the outfit as a tournament reward.
The same competition can also award the Ironmouse Worm Back Bling. The tournament uses a Duos format, so you will need to play alongside another player and work together throughout the competition.
The Ironmouse Icon Cup is scheduled for September 15, 2026. It starts at 11:00 AM EDT and lasts for two and a half hours, ending at 1:30 PM EDT.
Ironmouse Icon Cup Placement Requirements
The Ironmouse Icon Cup can be played in either Battle Royale or Zero Build. The required placement for earning the rewards remains the same regardless of which mode you choose.
Here are the placement requirements listed for each region:
- OCE: Top 50
- Asia: Top 50
- Middle East: Top 50
- Brazil: Top 100
- NA West: Top 100
- NA Central: Top 350
- Europe: Top 500
Players who reach the required position can earn the Ironmouse outfit and Ironmouse Worm Back Bling for free. Since the tournament is played in Duos, finding a teammate who can communicate and coordinate with you can make the matches easier to manage.
How to Get the Ironmouse Skin From the Item Shop
Players who don’t manage to earn the outfit through the Icon Cup can still purchase the Ironmouse cosmetics later. The collaboration is scheduled to arrive in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 on September 18, 2026.
Once the cosmetics are available, you can purchase them directly through the Item Shop. The expected Ironmouse Bundle price is 2,800 V-Bucks, although individual items should also be available separately.
To purchase the Ironmouse cosmetics, follow these steps:
- Launch Fortnite.
- Open the Item Shop.
- Browse the available sections until you find the Ironmouse collaboration.
- Select the Ironmouse Bundle or an individual cosmetic.
- Check the listed V-Bucks price.
- Press and hold the Purchase button to complete the transaction.
- The purchased cosmetics will then become available in your Fortnite Locker.
All Fortnite Ironmouse Cosmetics and Expected Prices
The collaboration includes more than just the main Ironmouse outfit. Several additional cosmetics are expected to arrive alongside the VTuber’s Icon Series skin.
The expected prices are:
- Ironmouse Bundle: 2,800 V-Bucks
- Ironmouse Skin + Back Bling: 1,500 V-Bucks
- Decora Ironmouse + Ironmouse Worm: 1,500 V-Bucks
- Ironmouse Sword Pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks
- Emote: 400 V-Bucks
The bundle should offer a cheaper way to collect the full set compared with purchasing every cosmetic separately. However, the final Item Shop prices may differ from these expected costs when Epic Games officially releases the collaboration.
Ironmouse Skin Design and Fortnitemares 2026
The Ironmouse Icon Series outfit is based on her Season 4 design. There is also a possibility that additional styles could appear based on some of her previous looks, although those details should be treated as unconfirmed until Epic Games reveals more information.
The promotional artwork also appears to connect Ironmouse with Fortnitemares 2026. This could mean that some of the collaboration’s cosmetics or appearances will have a role in the Halloween-themed content arriving during the season.
For players who aren’t interested in immediately buying the outfit, waiting for more information about Fortnitemares could be another option. The Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass also offers additional rewards, including rewards connected to Geno Quests.
How Long Will the Ironmouse Items Stay in the Shop?
Like many Fortnite collaborations, the Ironmouse cosmetics are not expected to remain in the Item Shop permanently. The items are expected to rotate out around one or two weeks after their initial release.
This means players who want the Ironmouse outfit through the Item Shop should keep an eye on the store once the collaboration launches. If the cosmetics leave the rotation, players may need to wait for Epic Games to bring them back in a future Item Shop rotation.
The Ironmouse collaboration gives Fortnite players several ways to collect the new cosmetics. The Ironmouse Icon Cup provides a chance to earn the main outfit and Ironmouse Worm Back Bling without spending V-Bucks, while everyone else can purchase the items when they arrive in the Item Shop.
The tournament requires Duos and has different placement targets depending on your region, so make sure you know the target before competing. If you miss the free reward, the Ironmouse Bundle and individual cosmetics are expected to become available on September 18, 2026.
