The 2013 challenge in The Hunt: Roblox 20 moves the event into an Apocalypse Rising 2-inspired setting. This stage is more involved than the previous hub quests because you need to collect several pieces of equipment before entering the main game, then complete multiple objectives inside Apocalypse Rising 2.

You will need to find three items in the 2013 event area, collect a backpack, primary weapon, and melee weapon in Apocalypse Rising 2, defeat five zombies, travel 5,000 studs on foot, and witness either a sunrise or sunset. Completing all of these tasks allows you to claim the 2013 event reward and continue to the next year.

How to Complete the 2013 Hub Quest

Enter World 2013 and look for the NPC who starts the challenge. Talk to the NPC and you will be told to gear up before the available loot is taken. Your first task is to search the surrounding area for three items. They are spread across different structures, so you will need to explore rather than simply staying near the NPC.

The three item locations are:

  • First item: Inside one of the tents.
  • Second item: Inside a nearby house.
  • Third item: Inside the castle.

Collect all three items and return to the NPC. Once you have brought everything back, the first part of the 2013 challenge is complete and you can enter the portal for the main objective.

Enter Apocalypse Rising 2

After completing the 2013 hub quest, go through the portal to Apocalypse Rising 2. This is where the longer portion of the challenge begins.

The event gives you several objectives that can be completed while exploring the map. Your first goal is to find and equip three different types of equipment: a backpack, a primary weapon, and a melee weapon.

Search buildings and other loot locations around the map. Once you find the required items, equip them to make sure the event registers your progress.

Find a Backpack, Primary Weapon, and Melee Weapon

Loot buildings throughout the map to find the three required equipment types. Backpacks can be found inside buildings and other lootable areas, while weapons can appear in different locations depending on the area you explore.

You do not need specific versions of these items for the objective. The important part is having a backpack, one primary weapon, and one melee weapon equipped.

If you are unsure about your progress, open the event section from the game menu. This shows which objectives have already been completed and what you still need to do.

Defeat 5 Zombies

The next objective requires you to eliminate five zombies. Search around the map for zombie enemies and defeat them using the weapons you have collected.

Take some time to gather ammunition before fighting if necessary. Zombies can become dangerous when several enemies attack at once, and other players may also be moving around the same areas.

Try to complete the zombie objective while working on the walking requirement. This lets you make progress toward multiple objectives instead of spending an extra trip simply looking for zombies.

Travel 5,000 Studs on Foot

Another requirement is to travel a total distance of 5,000 studs on foot. This is likely to be one of the more time-consuming parts of the 2013 challenge, so keep moving while exploring the map.

The event menu can be used to check your current progress and see how much distance remains. Since the requirement is specifically based on traveling on foot, avoid relying on vehicles for this objective.

You can combine the walking requirement with your other tasks by exploring different buildings, searching for loot, and hunting zombies as you travel.

Witness a Sunrise or Sunset

The final objective requires you to witness either a sunrise or sunset in Apocalypse Rising 2. This does not require a special item or interaction. You simply need to remain in the game until one of these events occurs.

Keep an eye on the sky while completing your other objectives. If you have already finished the equipment and zombie requirements but still need the sunrise or sunset, continue exploring and wait for the time of day to change.

Be careful during this part because dying before the event registers can force you to repeat some of your progress.

How to Finish the 2013 Challenge

Once you have completed all of the required objectives, check the event menu to make sure everything has been registered. The completed tasks should include your equipment, five zombie kills, 5,000 studs traveled on foot, and the sunrise or sunset requirement.

After everything is finished, leave Apocalypse Rising 2 and return to The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub. Find the 2013 reward and interact with it to claim your item. Once the reward has been collected, you can interact with the next progression cube to continue toward the following year’s challenge.

2013 Challenge Tips

  • Search tents, houses, and the castle carefully during the hub quest.
  • Equip all three required equipment types in Apocalypse Rising 2.
  • Check the event menu regularly to track your progress.
  • Gather useful weapons and ammunition before fighting zombies.
  • Defeat five zombies while exploring to avoid unnecessary travel.
  • Complete the 5,000-stud requirement on foot.
  • Watch for a sunrise or sunset while working on the other objectives.
  • Avoid unnecessary deaths because some progress may need to be repeated.
  • Return to the Hunt hub after completing every requirement.
  • Claim the 2013 reward before moving to the next challenge.

The Hunt Roblox 20 2013 challenge takes a little more time than the simple hub missions from earlier years. The opening section is easy enough, requiring you to collect three items from a tent, house, and castle. The main challenge in Apocalypse Rising 2 is where most of the work comes in.

Make sure you equip a backpack, primary weapon, and melee weapon, defeat five zombies, walk 5,000 studs, and witness either a sunrise or sunset. Once all objectives are complete, return to the event hub, claim the 2013 reward, and use the progression cube to continue through The Hunt Roblox 20.
