The Hunt Roblox 20: Chaos Canyon 2009 Challenge Guide
The 2009 stage of The Hunt: Roblox 20 takes you into the 2009 Hub before sending you into Chaos Canyon for the main combat objective. Like the previous stages, you need to finish two separate challenges before the event reward becomes available.
The first task takes place directly inside the 2009 Hub and only requires you to survive a tornado. The second challenge is inside Chaos Canyon, where you need to eliminate four other players. Once both objectives are complete, you can claim the Crest of the Canyon UGC item.
How to Complete the 2009 Hub Challenge
The 2009 Hub challenge is one of the simpler objectives in The Hunt Roblox 20. After arriving in the Hub, find and speak with the NPC responsible for the Chaos Canyon quest.
Once you interact with the NPC, a tornado will appear somewhere around the map. Your objective is simply to survive while the tornado remains active. The tornado lasts for 60 seconds, so you only need to avoid it until the timer runs out.
The safest approach is to keep moving away from the tornado rather than standing still. Pay attention to its position and continually travel in the opposite direction. Do not rely on the nearby house for protection, as entering the building does not prevent the tornado from affecting you.
After successfully surviving for the full 60 seconds, return to the quest NPC and speak with them again. You can then use the portal to enter Chaos Canyon and begin the second part of the challenge.
How to Complete the Chaos Canyon Challenge
The Chaos Canyon portion focuses on PvP combat. Once you enter the game, your objective is to get four kills against other players.
The Rocket Launcher is a useful option if you want to attack from a distance. A direct rocket hit can eliminate opponents quickly, allowing you to work toward the required four kills without getting too close to other players.
If you prefer close-range combat, the Sword is another option. It deals strong damage and can be effective when fighting opponents at close range. Choose whichever weapon you’re more comfortable using and focus on getting the required eliminations.
One important detail is that dying does not reset your kill progress. If you already have three kills and another player defeats you, you still only need one more kill after respawning. Because your progress remains after death, you don’t need to spend too much time worrying about staying alive. Focus on finding opponents and reaching four total kills as quickly as possible.
How to Claim the Chaos Canyon UGC Reward
After getting four kills in Chaos Canyon, leave the experience and return to The Hunt: Roblox 20. You should be placed back into the 2009 Hub once you rejoin the event.
Look directly around the spawn area for a reward platform. The platform should be positioned in front of you when you arrive.
Interact with the platform to claim the Crest of the Canyon UGC item. Make sure your Chaos Canyon challenge has registered as complete before moving on.
How to Continue to the 2010 Challenge
Once you’ve claimed the Crest of the Canyon UGC reward, the 2009 stage is finished. You can now continue through The Hunt Roblox 20 to the next year. Look for the box in the 2009 Hub and interact with it. The box will teleport you to the 2010 Challenge area, allowing you to continue your progress through the event.
The 2009 Chaos Canyon stage is relatively straightforward once you know what each objective requires. The Hub challenge only asks you to survive the tornado for one minute, while Chaos Canyon requires four player eliminations.
The key thing to remember is that dying during the Chaos Canyon challenge does not remove your kill progress. This means you can focus on getting those four eliminations instead of spending too much time trying to survive every encounter. Afterward, return to the 2009 Hub, claim the Crest of the Canyon UGC, and use the box to move on to the 2010 Challenge.
