Clans can give you unique skills, passive effects, and useful bonuses. For example, some clans have special abilities such as Poison Throw, while others can summon additional characters or provide experience and drop-related bonuses.

Get Your First Katana
One of the first things you should do is get a weapon. The beginner village has a shop where you can purchase a Regular Katana for 500 cash. There is also a Fancy Katana that costs 1,500 cash.
For a new character, the Regular Katana is enough to get started. There is little reason to wait and save all your money for the Fancy Katana when you can already begin gaining weapon mastery with the cheaper option.
You can use a katana regardless of whether you eventually decide to become a Demon or Demon Slayer. As you progress through the game, you will naturally replace your beginner weapon with stronger options.
Progression Guide 1-75 Leveling
Level Up Fast From Level 1 to 15
Once you have your weapon, speak with Kru and start completing the three Bandit quests. These quests are your main source of early experience and are simple enough for a fresh character.
When you reach the required level, start farming Zuko as well. Zuko is the early boss and can be fought from around level 7. Repeatedly completing the Bandit quests and defeating Zuko is a straightforward way to reach around level 15.
There is also an important reason to keep fighting Zuko. The boss can drop the Cutlas, a weapon with its own unique skill set. One of its abilities is Quick Draw, which can be very useful for combos and clearing enemies faster. Because boss weapons have their own skills, getting the Cutlas early can give you a strong weapon for the rest of your progression.
Level Up From 15 to 30
After reaching around level 15, move to the next farming area and start fighting the bears. Make sure you activate the nearby spawn point before beginning your grind.
The area has several bear enemies with different levels. Start with the Level 10 Bear and move toward the Level 18 Mother Bear as your character becomes stronger.
The goal here is to continue farming until approximately level 30. Keep completing the available quests and defeat the stronger enemies whenever your character can handle them comfortably.
Setting your spawn close to the quest area is important because it saves travel time. You will be repeating these enemies many times, so reducing unnecessary movement makes the leveling process much faster.
Level Up From 30 to 45
At around level 30, move on to the next quest giver and start working toward the Level 34 boss. The quest giver may require you to speak with an NPC back in the beginner town before the next set of quests becomes available.
Once the quest is unlocked, repeatedly farm the Level 34 boss and nearby enemies. This area is designed to carry your progression from roughly level 30 toward level 45.
Do not worry about rushing into much stronger areas too early. The most efficient approach is to repeatedly clear enemies and bosses that you can defeat quickly. A fast and consistent farming rotation is usually better than fighting enemies that take too long to defeat.
Level Up From 45 to 75
After reaching approximately level 45, continue your progression through the next quest area and look for Huzu. The quests and enemies here can carry you through the next stage of the early game.
Keep farming the NPCs and bosses available in this area until you reach around level 75. At that point, you should be strong enough to start participating in more difficult world boss content.
A useful rotation is to move between the available bosses rather than waiting around for a single enemy. Defeat the boss, return to the other farming targets, and repeat the process. You can also fight world event bosses whenever they appear around the map for additional rewards.
Get a Lantern for Nighttime
Nighttime can make Slayers 2 difficult to see, especially when you are traveling or farming outside. Lanterns help solve this problem and can also provide useful bonuses.
One of the first lanterns available to beginners can be purchased from Kuro near the Mother Bear area. The basic lantern does not provide a huge amount of illumination, but it can still make nighttime exploration easier.
Better lanterns can provide stronger illumination and additional effects. For example, the Cherry Blossom Lantern provides an illumination effect, while stronger lanterns can make a much bigger difference to visibility.

How to Find Lanterns and Chest Rewards
Slayers 2 has several chest types, and learning how to identify them is useful when hunting for specific items. World Event Chests, for example, can come from World Adventures, while other chests are connected to different bosses and areas.
The Archives can help you determine where particular items come from. Check the relevant category and look at the listed drop source and chance.
Luck Chests are another important source of items. These chests can appear around the map, including different areas with Tier 1 and Tier 2 versions. Some require you to defeat nearby NPCs before you can open them.
If you are searching for items such as Frozen Hearts or certain immunity-related equipment, regularly checking these chests can be worthwhile.
Use the Skill Tree
The Skill Tree is one of the most important menus in Slayers 2. Press M on your keyboard and open the Skill Tree to see the abilities available to your character.

Unlock Fast Travel
Traveling across the Slayers 2 map can take a lot of time, but you can unlock fast travel by using the shrines scattered around the world.
First, open your mini-map and check the available locations. You can also adjust the map display to show or hide different types of locations.
When you find a shrine, you can purchase access to it using in-game cash. Once you have unlocked the shrine, it can be used as a fast-travel destination.
Several locations can be unlocked this way, including areas such as Hidden Mist, Misfall, Butterfly Estate, and the Snow area. Unlocking these locations early can save a considerable amount of travel time later.
How to Survive the Snow Area
The Snow area has a cold mechanic that can damage your character if you stay there for too long. You need the appropriate equipment if you plan to spend a lot of time in the biome.
The Ember Heart Lantern provides Cold Immunity, allowing you to survive longer in the Snow area. However, this immunity is not permanent and will gradually need to be restored.
Campfires are important here. When your cold resistance starts running low, find a campfire and stay within the area for a while to restore your Cold Immunity.
Until you obtain better equipment or another method is introduced, using the Ember Heart Lantern together with campfires is an important part of surviving in the Snow biome.
How to Get the Ember Heart Lantern
The Ember Heart Lantern can be obtained by farming the Yeti in a secret cave near the beginner village. From the village, head toward the northeast side and continue in that direction until you find the cave.
The Yeti is connected to an Ice Chest and can be summoned using a Frozen Heart. Frozen Hearts can be obtained from sources such as Rare Chests and Sealed Luck Chests.
Luck Chests can appear in various areas of the map. Some are protected by nearby NPCs, meaning you need to defeat the enemies around the chest before you can open it.
Because these chests can contain different useful items, exploring the map and checking chest locations is a good way to build up your collection while leveling.
Unlock Fishing
Fishing is another activity that requires a short quest before you can use it. Travel to Mispo Harbor and head toward the docks.
Find Soften and speak with him to start the fishing quest. You will be asked to find a permit stamp. Follow the quest location across the river and search for the nearby house.
Enter the house and take the permit stamp from the table. Bring it back to Soften to complete the quest and receive your Fishing Permit.
Once you have the permit, you can purchase fishing bait and a fishing rod. This unlocks the fishing system and gives you another activity to work on outside of normal combat and leveling.
Find the Black Market NPC
The Black Market NPC appears periodically, making it worth checking the server when you receive a notification about his arrival.

How to Get a Horse Mount
