Slayers 2 has a large open world with plenty of locations to explore, but traveling everywhere on foot can quickly become a chore. A Horse gives you a much faster way to move around the map and makes traveling between quests, towns, and other points of interest much easier.
Getting a Horse is not as simple as finding one and immediately riding it, though. You first need to locate a wild Horse, complete its taming mini-game, and then pay the required amount of money to claim the mount.
Where to Find the Horse Mount in Slayers 2
Unlike some items and NPCs, the Horse does not have one guaranteed spawn point. It can appear randomly around the map, but there are a few areas where players have a better chance of finding one. Two useful locations are around Bamboo Grove, so it is worth checking these areas before searching elsewhere.
Horse Spawn Location 1
The first location is behind the Serpent Trainee Mini-Boss near the Bamboo Grove Shrine. This is one of the more reliable areas to check when you are looking for a Horse. To reach the area, follow these steps:
- Teleport to the Bamboo Grove Shrine.
- Turn left after arriving.
- Find the Serpent Trainee.
- Walk up the ramp beside the mini-boss.
- Enter the open area at the top.
- Check the right corner for a Horse.
A Horse frequently appears in this open section, making it a useful location to check before searching across the rest of the map.
Horse Spawn Location 2
The second location is also in Bamboo Grove. Head toward the large central bridge at the Bamboo Grove POI. The bridge is positioned opposite the large waterfall on the right side of the area. Walk across the central bridge and check the area at the other end, where a Horse can spawn and roam around.
Because Horse spawns are random, there is no guarantee that you will find one every time. If there is no Horse at either location, you may need to wait and check again.
Horse Spawn Locator Gamepass
Players who want to make finding a Horse easier can purchase the Horse Spawn Locator Gamepass for 120 Robux.
The gamepass displays the location of the nearest Horse on your screen. Once the tracker appears, simply follow its icon until you reach the mount.
This is optional, so free-to-play players can still obtain a Horse by checking the regular spawn locations. The gamepass mainly saves time if you do not want to repeatedly travel around Bamboo Grove looking for a spawn.
How to Tame a Horse in Slayers 2
Finding a Horse is only the first part of getting your mount. You must tame it before you can claim it as your own.
Approach the Horse and interact with it to start the taming mini-game. After you sit on the Horse, white buttons will begin appearing on your screen.
Inside each button is a circular ring. The ring first moves toward the center before expanding outward again. Your goal is to press the corresponding button when the ring reaches the outer edge at the correct moment.
The timing can be difficult at first. You need to repeat the process successfully until the Horse has been fully tamed, so do not be surprised if it takes several attempts to get used to the timing.
How Much Does the Horse Cost?
Successfully completing the taming mini-game does not mean you get the Horse for free. After taming it, you need to pay 15,000 ¥ to claim the mount.
Because of this additional cost, make sure you have enough money before spending time searching for and taming a Horse.
If you are short on money, you can earn more by completing quests and other activities. Slayers 2 codes can also provide useful rewards that may help with your early progression.
How to Equip the Horse
After you have successfully obtained the Horse, you do not need to visit a special NPC every time you want to use it. The mount will automatically appear in your Toolbar at the bottom of the screen. To use it:
- Look at the Toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
- Find the slot containing your Horse.
- Press the number assigned to that slot.
- Your character will equip the Horse.
- Press the same number again when you want to unequip it.
The Horse can be used for traveling across land, making it much easier to move between different areas of the map.
Why You Should Get a Horse
The biggest advantage of having a Horse is simple: faster transportation. Slayers 2 has a large map, and repeatedly running between locations can take a considerable amount of time.
A mount also makes exploration more convenient because you can travel between areas without constantly relying on unlocked Shrine locations. This can be particularly useful when you are still exploring the map and have not unlocked every fast-travel point.
For players who spend a lot of time completing quests, hunting enemies, or searching for items, getting a Horse can make regular travel considerably less tedious.
Getting a Horse in Slayers 2 requires three main steps: find a Horse, complete the taming mini-game, and pay 15,000 ¥ to claim the mount. The Horse can spawn randomly, but Bamboo Grove has two useful areas worth checking near the Serpent Trainee and central bridge.
Once you own the mount, it will appear in your Toolbar and can be equipped whenever you need it. While the Horse Spawn Locator costs 120 Robux, it is completely optional, so you can still find and tame the mount without spending Robux.
