Fish It Arcade Island Update Guide, Bloodmoon Event & More!
The latest Fish It update introduces Arcadia, a limited-time arcade-themed island packed with new fish, activities, rewards, and special mechanics. The update also adds a new Bloodmoon event, giving players more reasons to explore the island and take part in its different challenges. Arcadia comes with 16 new fish and one new Secret fish to discover. Alongside fishing, players can battle a giant Kraken, collect Battle Pass Currency, complete an obby, play arcade games, and unlock several exclusive rewards.
How to Access Arcadia
Arcadia is a new limited-time event island added to Fish It as part of the Arcade Island update. The island is designed around an arcade theme and contains several activities that are separate from normal fishing.
While exploring Arcadia, players can look for fishing spots, arcade machines, quests, and event activities. The island also contains special mechanics that can provide temporary boosts and exclusive items.
The update adds 16 new fish to collect, including one new Secret. Players who want to complete their collection will need to spend time fishing around the new island and searching for its rare catches.
Bloodmoon and Kraken Boss Event
One of the biggest additions is the Kraken boss battle. Every three hours, a giant Kraken appears at Arcadia and gives players a limited-time group activity.
During the battle, players need to catch Bombs and use them to damage the Kraken. Once the boss is defeated, Arcadia receives a one-hour island boost, giving players an additional reason to participate instead of simply fishing normally.
Because the Kraken appears on a repeating schedule, checking the island regularly can help you avoid missing the boss encounter.
Battle Pass Spins
The update also introduces a new Battle Pass Spins system with a fresh selection of rewards. Players can use the system to work toward different prizes available during the event.
Some of the featured rewards include:
- Prize Fighter Rod Skin
- Pixel Pilot Pet
- Pixel Prix Boat
- x12 Server Luck
- Other event rewards
The Battle Pass system adds another progression path to the Arcade Island update, especially for players who plan to spend a lot of time completing Arcadia activities.
Arcade Pellet Machine
The Arcade Pellet Machine is another new feature found on the island. While fishing, players can catch White Pellets and use them with the Arcade Machine.
Feeding the required pellets into the machine creates a Ghost. The Ghost then follows the player while they continue fishing before eventually revealing a reward.
Possible rewards from the Ghost include:
- Gold Coins
- Battle Pass Tokens
- A limited Halo
- Other rewards connected to the event
This makes White Pellets worth keeping instead of treating them as ordinary fishing catches.
Arcade Obby Lantern
Arcadia also features a new obby for players who enjoy movement challenges. The course requires you to jump over rolling pins and make your way through the obstacles.
Completing the Arcade Obby rewards an exclusive Lantern. This gives players another way to obtain an event-exclusive item without relying entirely on fishing.
If you are collecting limited items from the update, make sure to check the obby before the Arcadia event ends.
Snek Game
Several Arcade Machines around Arcadia contain a mini-game called Snek. Players can interact with these machines and play Snek to earn Battle Pass Currency.
The reward can be collected daily, making this activity worth checking whenever you return to the island. Since the currency is connected to the new Battle Pass Spins system, playing Snek can help with event progression.
Look around the island for the Arcade Machines and interact with them to find the mini-game.
Arcadia Leaderboard
Arcadia also has its own event leaderboard. Players can compete during the event and attempt to climb the rankings by participating in the island’s activities.
The leaderboard gives the limited-time island another competitive element. If you are already fishing, completing activities, and collecting event currency, your progress can also contribute toward competing with other players.
New 8-Bit Mutation
The update adds a new 8-Bit Mutation to Fish It. This mutation is obtainable through Arcadia and fits the retro arcade theme of the new island.
Players interested in collecting unusual fish variants should keep an eye out for this mutation while fishing during the event. Since it is tied to Arcadia, the limited-time island is an important place to visit if you want to collect it.
Token Quest With Dexxter
Dexxter has also arrived at Arcadia with a new Token Quest. Players can help Dexxter by completing the quest objectives and receive a new prize for their efforts.
Make sure to speak with Dexxter while exploring the island. Completing the Token Quest gives you another progression option alongside fishing, the obby, Snek, and the Kraken battle.
Quality of Life Changes and Bug Fixes
The Arcade Island update also includes several fixes that improve the overall Fish It experience. The update fixes an issue involving the Corruption Edge that could fling players underwater. It also fixes incorrect Enchant Stone values that were being displayed in Mastery. These changes are smaller than the Arcadia content, but they should make the game more consistent for players who encounter either issue.
The Fish It Arcade Island update adds much more than a new fishing location. Arcadia introduces new fish, a Secret catch, the Kraken boss battle, Battle Pass Spins, the Arcade Pellet Machine, an obby, Snek mini-game, a leaderboard, a new mutation, and a Token Quest from Dexxter.
If you want to get the most out of the update, explore the entire island rather than focusing only on fishing. Keep an eye on the Kraken schedule, collect White Pellets, play Snek daily, complete the Arcade Obby, and work through the available event activities before Arcadia leaves Fish It.
