Betty’s Gemstone is an important quest item in Slayers 2 that you need to collect to finish Betty’s quest and receive its rewards. The gemstone is hidden underwater near the area where Betty can be found, so knowing the exact route can save you plenty of time.
The quest becomes available once your character reaches Level 10. If you are having trouble locating Betty or finding the gemstone after accepting the quest, follow the steps below to reach the item quickly.
Where Is Betty in Slayers 2?
Betty can be found in Bamboo Grove, sitting on top of a cliff overlooking a large waterfall. From Windy Peak, which is the game’s initial spawn area, travel roughly 600 units to the left until you reach the Bamboo Grove area.
There is also an easier way to locate her if you do not want to rely on the distance. Open your minimap and look for the words “Bamboo Grove.” Move toward the area and position yourself around the letter “R” in “Grove.” Betty should be located on the cliff above the waterfall in that area.
Before heading there, make sure your character has reached Level 10. Betty’s quest cannot be started before this level requirement, so exploring the area early will not allow you to collect the gemstone. Once you reach Level 10, talk to Betty to begin the quest. After accepting it, you can immediately start looking for the hidden gemstone.
Where Is Betty’s Gemstone in Slayers 2?
Betty’s Gemstone is located in the river directly below the waterfall where Betty is standing. You do not need to travel to another major area, but the item can be easy to miss if you simply follow the river without knowing where to look. Follow these steps to find it:
- Start at Betty’s location on top of the waterfall.
- Jump down from the waterfall.
- Follow the left side of the river.
- Continue until you pass the red bridge.
- Look for the rocky corner along the left side of the river.
- Dive into the water at this location.
- Look for the dark blue gemstone on the river floor.
- Approach the item and press T to collect it.
The gemstone has a distinctive appearance. It is dark blue and looks like two pyramid shapes connected at their bases. Once you know what it looks like, spotting it underwater becomes much easier.
One important detail is that Betty’s Gemstone does not automatically enter your inventory when you approach it. You need to manually press T while near the item to pick it up.
What Happens After Finding Betty’s Gemstone?
You do not need to return to Betty after collecting the gemstone. The quest is completed automatically as soon as you successfully pick up the item.
The rewards are also added to your character immediately. Betty’s quest provides around 700 XP and 240 Wen, making it a useful early-game quest for players who have just reached Level 10.
Completing the quest as soon as it becomes available can also provide a significant level boost. If you start the quest at Level 10, the experience reward can push your character to around Level 13.
Finding Betty’s Gemstone in Slayers 2 is fairly simple once you know where to search. First, reach Level 10 and visit Betty at the waterfall in Bamboo Grove, then jump down and follow the left side of the river past the red bridge.
The gemstone is underwater near the rocky corner on the left side of the river. Remember to press T when you are close enough to collect it, since the item does not automatically get picked up. Once collected, the quest finishes automatically and you receive the XP and Wen rewards.
