The Fall Event Part 1 in Grow a Garden gives players another reason to keep their gardens busy. If you want to restock the event shops quickly and earn more rewards, having the right crops ready can make the process much easier.

- Staffs Can Now Stack Staffs such as the Knight Staff and Corrupt Staff previously took up separate inventory slots. They can now stack together in your inventory. This makes inventory management much easier, especially if you have collected several copies of the same staff.
- Pet Selling Gets a Search Bar Selling pets is also more convenient now. A search bar has been added to the pet-selling interface, allowing you to search for a specific pet instead of manually looking through your collection. This can also make it easier to avoid accidentally selling a rare pet when you are clearing out duplicates.
- More Admin Abuse Content May Come Later The developers have also mentioned adding more content for admin abuse events to keep them fresh. This suggests that more unusual or special events could appear in future updates, although the exact details have not been confirmed.
Traits Needed for the Fall Event
The Fall Event requires crops with the following traits:
- Berry
- Flower
- Fruit
- Leafy
- Vegetable
- Woody
- Prickly
- Stocky
- Tropical
You can build your garden around these traits in several ways. The following two setups focus on different priorities.
Setup 1: High-Point Crops
The first setup focuses on crops that provide more points. This is useful if you want to get a large amount of event progress from fewer runs. Here are the recommended crops:
- Berry: Elder Strawberry
- Fruit: Elder Strawberry
- Flower: Flare Daisy, Rose, or Serenity
- Stocky: Beanstalk
- Vegetable: Beanstalk
- Leafy: Beanstalk
- Prickly: Crimson Thorn
- Tropical: Coconut
- Woody: Coconut
For the Flower requirement, Flare Daisy should be enough by itself. Many players may already have plenty of them from the previous Beanstalk event. Beanstalk is particularly useful because it covers three different traits at once: Stocky, Vegetable, and Leafy. Coconut also covers both Tropical and Woody, which helps reduce the number of different crops you need to keep in your garden.
How to Speed Up the High-Point Setup
Once everything is planted, use Spider together with 15-Second Mimics to speed up the growth process. Watering cans should also be used whenever possible. Combining these boosts can significantly reduce the time needed to grow the crops.
After the required plants are ready, check what the Heart Seed currently needs and submit the matching crop. For example, if the Heart Seed asks for Prickly plants, you can submit Crimson Thorn. With the high-point setup, one run was enough to restock the shops and earn a Maple Resin Transcendent Seed.
Setup 2: Fast-Growing Crops
The second setup is designed for players who want something faster and more compact. Instead of using crops that provide the highest number of points, this setup relies on crops that grow quickly while still covering all of the required traits. It can also be used while working on KG boosting.
Use the following crops:
- Berry: Strawberry
- Vegetable: Tomato
- Fruit: Tomato
- Leafy: Tomato
- Flower: Flare Daisy
- Prickly: Bear Claw Flower
- Tropical: Coconut
- Woody: Coconut
- Stocky: Astral Grape or Autumn Shroom
- Stocky alternative: Parsley
Tomato is especially useful because it covers Vegetable, Fruit, and Leafy at the same time. Bear Claw Flower is another efficient option because it can count as both Prickly and Flower. Since Flare Daisy can already cover Flower, you can use Bear Claw Flower mainly when the event requires Prickly crops.
For Stocky, Astral Grape from the Harvest Moon event can be used. Autumn Shroom from the Fall Seed Pack is another option. If you do not have Astral Grape, Parsley from the current Fall Event can also fill the Stocky requirement.
How to Speed Up the Fast Setup
Just like the first method, use Spider and 15-Second Mimics to accelerate crop growth. Watering cans are also useful here. With the right setup and boosts, the crops can grow in around two minutes. The biggest advantage is that this method does not require much garden space, making it convenient if your garden is already packed with other plants.
Once the crops are ready, check the current Heart Seed requirement and submit the matching plant. For example, if the requirement is Prickly, submit Bear Claw Flower. One run using this setup can provide 500 points, depending on the required trait and crops being submitted.
Which Fall Event Setup Should You Use?
Both methods are useful, but they work better for different goals. The high-point setup is better if you want to maximize the number of event points you receive from each run. It uses crops such as Elder Strawberry, Beanstalk, Crimson Thorn, and Coconut to cover the required traits.
The fast setup is more convenient if you want a smaller garden setup and faster crop cycles. Strawberry, Tomato, Flare Daisy, Bear Claw Flower, Coconut, and other fast-growing options make it easier to repeat the process. You do not have to stick to one method, either. You can switch between the two depending on the current Heart Seed requirement and the resources available in your garden.
Tips for Farming Fall Event Part 1
To make your event grinding more efficient, keep these tips in mind:
- Check the Heart Seed requirement before harvesting or submitting crops.
- Use crops that cover multiple traits whenever possible.
- Use Spider and 15-Second Mimics to reduce growth time.
- Keep watering cans ready for faster growth.
- Use the high-point setup when you want more event points per run.
- Use the fast setup when you want shorter farming cycles.
- Use duplicate or surplus crops for event submissions instead of valuable crops you still need.
