Grow a Garden is preparing for another major update, and the upcoming Fall Market Event 2026 looks set to bring back a familiar event with plenty of new content. Alongside the returning Fall Market, players can also expect the second part of The Hunt event, new NPCs, puzzles, new rewards, and more.
The Fall Market is based on the previous event, but this version is expected to include new plants, pets, gear, cosmetics, and quality-of-life changes. There will also be another batch of content arriving later as part two of the event. Here is everything currently revealed about the upcoming Grow a Garden update, including the Fall Market shops, new items, pets, Hunt Part 2, and what players should prepare before the update arrives.
Grow a Garden Fall Market Event 2026
The Fall Market Event is returning to Grow a Garden as part of the upcoming update. The event will introduce a special Fall Market area containing four different shops, with each shop focusing on a different type of reward.
Players will be able to find:
- Fall Festive Seeds Shop
- Fall Cosmetic Shop
- Fall Festival Gear Shop
- Fall Festival Pet Shop
The event will also feature the Fall Bloom Tree, which acts similarly to the Beanstalk-style event from previous updates.
The Fall Bloom requires players to contribute fruits with specific traits. The available traits include:
- Berry
- Flower
- Fruit
- Leafy
- Vegetable
- Woody
- Prickly
- Stocky
- Tropical
A progress bar will track contributions to the Fall Bloom. Higher-rarity fruits provide more points, while fruit variants can increase the amount of progress earned.
The Fall Market shops also have unlock requirements. Players will need to contribute to the Fall Bloom multiple times before certain items become available, similar to how repeated Beanstalk progress unlocked rewards in the previous event.
The Fall Bloom has a five-minute cooldown. Every successful contribution also causes the Fall Market shops to restock. A sign near the Fall Bloom will show how many times players have contributed.
Fall Festive Seeds Shop
The first shop focuses on seeds and seed packs. The currently leaked stock includes several returning Fall-themed plants along with a new Autumn Seed Pack.

The Autumn Apple Seed currently has the lowest listed chance at just 0.5%, making it one of the rarest potential rewards from this pack.
Fall Cosmetic Shop
The Fall Cosmetic Shop focuses on decorations and cosmetic items for your garden. Several Fall-themed decorations are expected to return alongside a brand-new Autumn Crate.

The Autumn Crate contains six possible cosmetics:

- Yard Lantern — 25%

The Drink Press has the lowest listed chance, while the Pumpkin Chair, Yard Lantern, and Fall Rug each have a 25% chance.
Fall Festival Gear Shop
The Fall Festival Gear Shop is where players can spend their event currency on special tools and utility items. Some of these are purely for fun, while others can directly affect pets, plants, or player movement.
The currently leaked gear includes:
Firefly Jar
The Firefly Jar looks like a transparent pixel-style container with an orange lid. A glowing yellow firefly can be seen inside, surrounded by a faint misty effect.
Sky Lantern
Using the Sky Lantern sends it flying into the sky while providing a small amount of illumination around the player. The item is consumed after use.
Maple Leaf Kite
The Maple Leaf Kite has the appearance of a blocky maple leaf. When equipped, a string extends upward from the player, allowing the kite to be carried.
Releasing it causes the kite to fly around in a circle before disappearing.
Leaf Blower
The Leaf Blower pushes the player backward while it is being used. It comes with a fuel system that starts at 100%.
Each click normally consumes around 1% to 4% fuel, although some uses can consume less than 1%. The UI does not display the decimal values.
Once the fuel reaches 0%, the Leaf Blower is used up.
Maple Syrup
Maple Syrup can be used on a pet to give it 50 XP.
Maple Sprinkler
The Maple Sprinkler improves the growth speed, mutation chances, and fruit size of Fall plants.
Its effect lasts for five minutes.
Bonfire
The Bonfire provides a small 10-minute boost related to cooking and Fall-type pets. The bonus gradually decreases as the fire becomes weaker.
Players can place up to three Bonfires at the same time.
One example of its effect is increasing the maximum weight gain of a Barn Owl by around 0.01 kg.
Maple Leaf Charm
Using the Maple Leaf Charm summons Rain weather and displays the message “The garden weeps.”
Golden Acorn
The Golden Acorn resets a pet back to age one while giving it a random mutation.
The pet must be over age 40 before this item can be used.
Rake
The Rake has a small movement effect. Stepping on its metal portion causes it to snap upward and launch the player slightly into the air.
Acorn Bell
The Acorn Bell causes a Fall-related pet to run around the player for several seconds before returning to its original position.
Acorn Lollipop
The Acorn Lollipop increases the age of a Fall-related pet by one.
Super Leaf Blower
The Super Leaf Blower is an upgraded version of the normal Leaf Blower. It pushes the player backward while being held, but the force is stronger.
Fall Festival Pet Shop
The Fall Festival Pet Shop contains the Fall Egg along with several Fall-themed pets. Each pet has a different ability that can help with gardening, mutations, harvesting, or obtaining event rewards.
The currently leaked pets include:
- Chipmunk
- Red Squirrel
- Salmon
- Marmot
- Sugar Glider
- Woodpecker
- Space Squirrel
- Mallard
- Red Panda
Chipmunk
The Chipmunk has a chance of preventing a harvest tool use from being consumed. Its passive currently has a listed chance range of 6% to 12%.
Red Squirrel
When Fall-type pets finish using their abilities, the Red Squirrel can cause their next cooldown to begin with less time remaining.
Salmon
The Salmon gains bonus experience based on how many other Salmon pets are currently in the player’s garden.
Marmot
The Marmot occasionally burrows underground and hides inside a random mound.
Finding the correct mound gives a random Fall-related reward.
The possible rewards include:
- Firefly Jar
- Maple Leaf Kite
- Sky Lantern
- Leaf Blower
- Maple Syrup
- Maple Sprinkler
- Golden Acorn
Sugar Glider
Every 18 minutes, the Sugar Glider visits three random fruits. It copies one mutation from each fruit and applies those mutations to the next fruit.
Woodpecker
The Woodpecker occasionally visits a Woody-type plant and pecks at it.
This can give Woody-type fruit a chance to duplicate. Rarer crops have a lower chance of being duplicated.
Space Squirrel
The Space Squirrel occasionally has a chance to apply the Void Touched mutation.
Mallard
Every 30 minutes, Mallards fly south as part of their migration.
The Mallard temporarily disappears from the garden and gives the player a random gear reward before returning to the inventory.
The listed rewards include:
- Maple Syrup
- Bonfire
- Maple Sprinkler
- Harvest Basket
- Golden Acorn
Red Panda
The Red Panda occasionally visits the Gear Shop, Seed Shop, or Pet Egg Shop and restocks a random item.
Rarer items have a lower chance of being restocked.
Fall Market Part 2 Is Also Planned
Not every leaked item is necessarily going to appear when the first version of the Fall Market launches.
The event is expected to receive a Part 2 update later, which can introduce additional items, including more pets, seeds, and other rewards.
Because of this, players may want to avoid assuming that the currently leaked shops represent the complete Fall Market lineup.
A new egg is also expected to arrive during Part 2 rather than the first Fall Market update.
The Hunt Part 2 Is Coming to Grow a Garden
The next update is also connected to Part 2 of The Hunt event.
Each participating game has two UGC rewards to collect. In Grow a Garden, one of the rewards is connected to completing Sam’s stolen fruits challenge.
Grow a Garden is expected to be the 20th game involved in the Hunt progression, meaning players need to collect the required badges from the other participating games before completing the Grow a Garden portion.
The second part of The Hunt is expected to arrive before the main Fall Market update, giving players two separate pieces of content to look forward to.
New Jandel, Jai and Green Bean NPCs
Three new NPCs are also expected to appear as part of Hunt Part 2:

- Jai NPC
- Green Bean NPC
These NPCs will help players understand and complete the puzzles introduced with the Hunt event.
The puzzles are expected to be an important part of the new Hunt content, with the NPCs providing clues or guidance for completing them.
This means players will have more than just normal gardening tasks to handle once Hunt Part 2 becomes available.
What Should You Prepare Before the Update?
There are a few things worth collecting before the Fall Market arrives.
First, try to finish as much of the current event content as possible. Stocking up on Bean Pod Chests, eggs, and useful gear can give you more resources to work with when the new event starts.
You should also consider preparing certain pets.
Barn Owl
The Barn Owl can provide additional KG when purchasing pets from the Fall Festival Pet Shop.
Because the upcoming event introduces multiple pets, having a Barn Owl ready could make pet purchases more useful.
Parasaurolophus
The Parasaurolophus is useful for opening crates faster.
Since the Fall Market introduces the Fall Crate and Autumn Crate, having this pet ready can help speed up your crate-opening process.
There does not appear to be a huge preparation list for the first part of the event, so players mainly need to save useful resources and have the right pets available.
What About a New Egg?
Based on the current leak information, there is not expected to be a new egg in the first Fall Market update.
The next new egg is reportedly planned for Fall Market Part 2. This is likely related to the developers working on the Hunt content at the same time.
The Fall Egg itself is part of the Fall Festival Pet Shop, so players will still have a new event egg to work toward even without another separate egg being introduced immediately.
What Happened to the Bee Merchant?
The Bee Merchant has reportedly been removed.
The reason given is that the Bee event has become a permanent part of Grow a Garden, so the temporary merchant is no longer needed in the same way.
When Is the Halloween Event?
The Halloween event has not received a confirmed date from the information provided.
The current expectation mentioned in the leak is around October 20, but this should be treated as an estimate rather than a confirmed release date.
More information should become available once the Fall Market and Hunt updates are released.
The upcoming Grow a Garden update appears to be split between the returning Fall Market and the second part of The Hunt. The Fall Market brings back the Fall Bloom system, four different shops, new seeds, cosmetics, gear, pets, and an Autumn Seed Pack and Crate.
