Demon Progression is an important system in Slayers 2 for players who choose the demon path. Increasing this progression allows you to unlock additional bonuses and become stronger as you continue developing your character.

There are several ways to gain Demon Progression, but not every method is equally efficient. Some enemies provide better Souls but take longer to defeat or respawn. If your goal is to reach maximum Demon Progression as quickly as possible, choosing the right farming location makes a big difference.

How Demon Progression Works in Slayers 2

Demon Progression is increased by collecting different types of Souls from enemies. The type of enemy you defeat determines which Soul you receive and how much progression it provides. There are three main Soul types that you can obtain while playing Slayers 2:

• Weak Soul – Gives +5 Demon Progression.
• Strong Soul – Gives +10 Demon Progression.
• Brave Soul – Gives +25 Demon Progression.

Weak Souls generally come from easier NPCs, while stronger enemies provide better Souls. Brave Souls are mainly obtained from bosses and certain powerful enemies, making them valuable but not always the fastest option for farming.

Method 1: Farm Great Guards

One way to increase Demon Progression is by farming Great Guards. These enemies are useful because they can provide both Strong Souls and Brave Souls depending on which guard you defeat.

The normal guards can give Strong Souls, which provide +10 Demon Progression. Meanwhile, the leader guard at the end of higher-tier encounters can drop a Brave Soul worth +25 progression.

You can find these enemies through chest encounters, with higher tiers generally being more rewarding. Tier 1 encounters can be easier to clear, while Tier 2 and Tier 3 can provide better rewards because of the leader at the end.

Method 2: Farm World Bosses

Another option is to follow the normal boss rotation throughout the game. Human-type world bosses can provide a Brave Soul when defeated, giving +25 Demon Progression per successful kill.

This method is useful if you are already farming bosses for other rewards or progression. You can effectively work on your Demon Progression while leveling up and collecting boss drops.

However, bosses have a major disadvantage. They can take considerably longer to defeat, and you also have to wait for them to respawn. Because of this, the +25 progression reward does not necessarily mean they are the fastest option overall.

Best Demon Progression Farming Location

For players who only want to maximize Demon Progression as quickly as possible, the Mizunoto Slayer area near Windy Peak Shrine is an especially useful farming location.

Starting from Beginner Town, make your way toward the area where several Mizunoto Slayers are gathered. This group of NPCs can be cleared relatively quickly, and the important part is their short respawn time.

The Mizunoto Slayers provide Strong Souls when defeated. Each Strong Soul normally gives +10 Demon Progression, but you can significantly improve this amount with the right multiplier.

How to Get 2x Soul Mastery Multiplier

Before starting your farming session, visit the Shop and look for the 2x Soul Mastery multiplier.

The multiplier costs only 7 Ores, making it relatively inexpensive compared with the amount of progression you can gain from using it efficiently. Ores can also be obtained through normal gameplay, so getting enough for the multiplier should not be particularly difficult.

Once the 2x Soul Mastery multiplier is active, your Strong Souls can provide:

• Normal Strong Soul: +10 Demon Progression.
• With 2x Soul Mastery: +20 Demon Progression.

This makes the Mizunoto Slayer farming method much more efficient. Instead of relying on Brave Souls from bosses, you can repeatedly defeat a group of NPCs that respawns after only around 10–15 seconds.

Fastest Way to Max Demon Progression

The basic strategy is simple: activate the 2x Soul Mastery multiplier, travel to the Mizunoto Slayer farming location, defeat all of the NPCs, and repeat the process after they respawn. Because the enemies return so quickly, you can continuously farm Strong Souls without spending long periods waiting for another enemy group to appear.

A boss might give you +25 Demon Progression from a Brave Soul, but defeating the boss and waiting for its next spawn can take much longer. The Mizunoto Slayers provide fewer progression points per Soul, but their fast respawn rate makes them much more efficient when measured over time.

For the fastest results, follow this farming loop:

• Get at least 7 Ores.
• Purchase the 2x Soul Mastery multiplier from the Shop.
• Travel to the Mizunoto Slayers near Windy Peak Shrine.
• Defeat the entire group.
• Collect the Strong Souls.
• Wait roughly 10–15 seconds for the NPCs to respawn.
• Repeat the process continuously.
• Keep the 2x multiplier active while farming.

This method is particularly useful if you want to reach max Demon Progression without spending most of your time waiting for bosses.

Max Demon Progression Rewards

After reaching the maximum Demon Progression level, your character receives several useful bonuses. The final progression level provides additional stats and damage-related benefits that improve your demon build. The max progression rewards include:

• +100 Max Health.
• Increased Max Health Factor.
• Evil Art damage increase.
• +2 additional damage.
• Illumination.

The Illumination effect also changes the appearance around your character, making the area around you noticeably brighter.

Getting max Demon Progression in Slayers 2 does not require relying exclusively on world bosses. While Brave Souls provide +25 progression, the time needed to defeat and respawn bosses can make them inefficient for dedicated farming.

The Mizunoto Slayers near Windy Peak Shrine are a strong alternative because they respawn quickly and provide Strong Souls. Combine them with the 2x Soul Mastery multiplier from the Shop, and you can repeatedly earn +20 Demon Progression per Strong Soul while keeping downtime low.
