Dangai Ichigo Rogue Piece Guide, How to Get & Unlock F Move!

Dangai Ichigo has finally been added to Rogue Piece, giving Bleach fans another Ichigo form to chase. The character is known for Mugetsu and its powerful appearance, so many players will want to know whether the new form is actually useful or just another collectible.

Getting Dangai Ichigo requires completing several quests involving the Dangai Realm, White Zangetsu, Tensa Zangetsu, Quincy enemies, and Aizen. The quest is not extremely complicated, but there are a few important steps that can easily reset your progress.

How to Start the Dangai Ichigo Quest

The NPC needed for the Dangai Ichigo questline can be found inside Soul Society. Look for the NPC next to Rukia’s NPC to begin the process. Before you can enter the Dangai Realm, you need to obtain the Coru Blade Relic. This item is obtained by defeating the Ichigo mobs found in the area. Once the relic drops, use it to unlock access to the Dangai Realm. You can then enter the realm and start working through the quests required to obtain Dangai Ichigo.

Clear the Dangai Realm

Your first task inside the Dangai Realm is fairly simple. You need to clear the waves of Ichigo enemies that spawn throughout the area. After dealing with the waves, a boss will appear. The boss has a 65% chance of being White Zangetsu, while there is a 35% chance of getting another random boss.

The possible random bosses include characters such as:

• Aizen
• Stark
• Ichigo
• Aizen Thousand-Year

Once you have completed the realm, return to the Dangai NPC and interact with them to receive the next quest.

Defeat Five White Zangetsu Bosses

The next objective requires you to defeat White Zangetsu five times inside the Dangai Realm.

This part can take some time because White Zangetsu is not guaranteed to appear every time you complete the realm. With a 65% chance for White Zangetsu to spawn, you may still need to repeat the realm several times before finishing this requirement.

Keep clearing the waves and defeating the boss until you have defeated White Zangetsu five times.

Die to White Zangetsu With Tensa Zangetsu

After defeating five White Zangetsu bosses, the next quest has a slightly unusual requirement. You need to die to the White Zangetsu boss while using Tensa Zangetsu inside the Dangai Realm.

Make sure Tensa Zangetsu is equipped before allowing the boss to defeat you. Completing this objective gives you the Hollowmarked effect, which lasts for 10 minutes.

The short timer is important because it is required for the next part of the questline.

Defeat Quincy While Hollowmarked

While the Hollowmarked effect is active, you need to defeat Quincy enemies.

There is an important mechanic to know before attempting this part. Your damage will be capped at 50,000 while using the relic. This is an intended effect rather than a bug.

To remove the restriction, equip the Reaper Hollow Orb. Once the orb is equipped, your normal damage should return, allowing you to complete the Quincy objective more easily.

Do not let the Hollowmarked timer expire before completing the requirement. Failing this section can cause your quest progress to be reset.

Complete the Tensa Zangetsu Training

After completing the Quincy requirement, return to the Ichigo NPC to continue the questline.

From this point onward, you should avoid entering the Dangai Realm unless the quest specifically requires it. Going back into the realm at the wrong stage can cause problems with the quest progression.

You now need to complete three separate requirements:

• Take 100 hits.
• Perform 100 M1 attacks.
• Deal 100 million damage using Tensa Zangetsu.

The 100 million damage requirement is the biggest part of this stage, so keep using Tensa Zangetsu until you reach the required total.

Complete the Aizen Quest

The next objective involves the Aizen boss. First, spawn Aizen and stay near the boss for 45 seconds. You do not necessarily need to fight him immediately. The important part is staying close to Aizen for the required amount of time.

After the 45-second requirement has been completed, you need to defeat Aizen while using Tensa Zangetsu. You can reduce Aizen’s health with another weapon or ability if necessary, but make sure the final damage comes from Tensa Zangetsu so that the quest registers correctly.

How to Unlock Dangai Ichigo

Once the Aizen objective has been completed, you are almost finished with the entire questline. For the final step, use the Reaper Hollow Orb. After completing this requirement, Dangai Ichigo will be unlocked along with the associated accessory.

Make sure you have completed all previous objectives before using the orb, as resetting or failing an earlier part of the quest can force you to repeat sections of the progression.

Dangai Ichigo Moveset

After unlocking the form, you can test out the new Dangai Ichigo moveset. The skills include several attacks along with a mode-style buff.

The Z and X skills are fairly straightforward, while the C ability has a more unusual presentation. The sound effects and animation may feel less dramatic than expected, especially considering how important Dangai Ichigo and Mugetsu are in Bleach.

The F ability functions more like a mode buff rather than another major attack. This gives the form additional combat utility, although the overall presentation may not impress everyone.

Is Dangai Ichigo Worth Getting?

Dangai Ichigo is worth considering if you enjoy Bleach characters or want another strong damage option in Rogue Piece. The questline has several steps, but most of them are straightforward once you know exactly what needs to be done.

The main downside is the presentation of some abilities. The Mugetsu cutscene in particular may not live up to the expectations surrounding one of Ichigo’s most famous attacks.

The actual damage makes the form more interesting than its animations suggest. Dangai Ichigo is capable of dealing high damage, while the acquisition process is manageable compared with some much more complicated Rogue Piece unlocks.

Dangai Ichigo is a solid addition to Rogue Piece, especially for players who have been waiting for another Ichigo transformation. The questline takes some preparation, but it is fairly manageable once you understand the order of the objectives and avoid unnecessary trips back into the Dangai Realm.

The moveset itself may feel average from a visual and animation standpoint, particularly when it comes to Mugetsu. However, the damage output gives Dangai Ichigo a stronger place in combat, making the form more than just a cosmetic addition.
