Roblox appears to be preparing a new Halloween event for October 2026. Several clues have started appearing following the end of The Hunt 20, including a mysterious skull symbol found in the event area and a Roblox teaser that features the same symbol.
At the same time, the Headless Horseman is expected to return to the Roblox Marketplace around the start of October. Here is everything currently known about the possible Halloween event and the clues discovered so far.
Headless Horseman Expected to Return
One of the biggest things Roblox players look forward to every October is the return of the Headless Horseman. The popular avatar item traditionally becomes available around the beginning of the Halloween season.
The Headless Horseman is also one of the most expensive avatar bundles in Roblox. It costs around 31,000 Robux when available, meaning players need to save a large amount of Robux if they want to get it.
Its return has also become something of a sign that the Roblox Halloween season is beginning. While availability and dates can change, its usual appearance around October has players watching the Marketplace closely.
The Mysterious Skull From The Hunt 20
One of the biggest clues for a possible Halloween event appeared at the end of The Hunt 20. After players completed the final puzzle and reached the ending area, they could find a skull symbol behind the location where the Dominus was displayed.
At the time, Roblox did not provide an explanation for the skull. Since it appeared in the final area of the event, some players immediately started wondering whether it was a teaser for whatever Roblox had planned next.
The theory became more interesting after Roblox released a teaser video featuring a skull with the same design. The video also included a message suggesting that The Hunt might not be completely finished.
A New Roblox Presents Game Adds More Clues
Another clue came from a newly created game under Roblox Presents. The game, called Orange, appeared shortly before the Roblox skull teaser received attention from the community.
The game also contains a skull placed on top of a pedestal. Because of its similarities to the skull seen at the end of The Hunt 20, players began connecting the two discoveries.
However, Roblox has not officially confirmed that Orange is the hub for the upcoming Halloween event. For now, it should only be treated as another clue being investigated by the Roblox community.
Is Twin Atlas Working on a New Hub?
Activity from Twin Atlas has also caught the attention of Roblox event hunters. The studio has previously been involved with creating hubs for different Roblox events.
Several projects or games with names such as “plumbing” and “business operations” have reportedly been created by Twin Atlas. These names are likely placeholders and may have nothing to do with the final name of the project.
What makes the discovery interesting is the timing. With these projects appearing around the same period as the Halloween clues, some players believe Twin Atlas could be working on another event hub.
There is still no official confirmation connecting these projects to Halloween, so this remains speculation until Roblox or Twin Atlas provides more information.
Will This Be Another Halloween Hunt?
The biggest question is what type of Halloween event Roblox is actually preparing. One possibility is another Hunt-style event where players travel through different Roblox experiences, complete objectives, and search for hidden secrets.
Another possibility is a format similar to Roblox Spotlight. In that type of event, players complete quests across participating experiences, earn badges, and potentially receive rewards for completing certain objectives.
Some possible formats include:
- A quest event across multiple Roblox games.
- A Halloween-themed secret hunting event.
- A badge-based event similar to Roblox Spotlight.
- A dedicated Halloween hub with different activities.
- Limited-time quests that reward avatar items.
- A combination of a central hub and participating Roblox experiences.
At this point, there is not enough official information to confirm which format Roblox will use. Players should therefore treat these possibilities as theories rather than confirmed features.
When Will the Roblox Halloween Event Start?
The possible Halloween event is expected to take place during October 2026, although Roblox has not officially revealed its exact release date or duration based on the available clues.
With October now beginning, Roblox could release another trailer, teaser, or announcement very soon. More information could reveal the event’s official name, hub, quests, participating games, and available rewards.
For now, the skull from The Hunt 20, the Roblox teaser, the new Roblox Presents game, and the activity surrounding Twin Atlas are some of the biggest clues being watched by the community.
What Could the Halloween Event Include?
If Roblox is preparing a major Halloween event, a dedicated hub could be one of its main features. The event could also introduce quests, badges, avatar items, and Halloween activities that are only available for a limited period.
The final format remains unknown. However, the clues appearing around the end of The Hunt 20 suggest that Roblox may have something planned for Halloween this October.
The Roblox Halloween Event 2026 has not been fully announced yet, but several clues are already appearing. The skull discovered at the end of The Hunt 20, the official Roblox teaser, the new Roblox Presents game, and Twin Atlas activity have all sparked speculation about what could be coming next.
It is still unknown whether this will become a Halloween Hunt, a Spotlight-style event, or something completely different. Players interested in the Headless Horseman should also keep an eye on the Marketplace as the Halloween season begins.
