All 7 Lockbox Dandy’s World Gourdy Halloween Quest Guide
Dandy’s World has a Halloween quest that asks players to search for seven Lockbox Pieces scattered across different areas. Each piece is tied to a small puzzle, interaction, or hidden objective, so simply exploring the map may not be enough to find everything.
Completing all seven objectives rewards you with the Locked Away Badge. Some pieces are easy to spot, while others require specific maps, codes, or even a particular roleplay character. Here is where to find every Lockbox Piece in the Gourdy Halloween Quest.
How to Get All 7 Lockbox Pieces in Dandy’s World
The seven pieces are spread between the main lobby, the OG Halloween Special map, the new Halloween Special map, and OG Roleplay Mode. You will need to complete several different tasks, including fixing posters, lighting pumpkins, activating a television, entering a typewriter code, finding torn photographs, and interacting with a Gourdy Plush.
Here is the order of the seven objectives:
- Key 1 — Posters
- Key 2 — Pumpkin Lighting
- Key 3 — Turn On the Television
- Key 4 — Typewriter Code
- Key 5 — Torn Picture 1
- Key 6 — Torn Picture 2
- Key 7 — Gourdy Plush
Key 1 — Posters
For the first Lockbox Piece, you need to find two posters in the main lobby that are positioned incorrectly. Look for the pink and yellow “Queens of Parties! Canceled.” posters. Most of the posters are already straight, but two have been tilted.
The first tilted poster is near the elevator at the back of the main lobby. From your spawn point, walk straight down the hallway and check the left wall near the elevator. Interact with the poster to straighten it.
For the second poster, enter the room across from the Halloween Shop. This area contains computers and crates. Check the walls inside this room to find another tilted poster. Interact with it to fix its position and complete the objective.
Key 2 — Pumpkin Lighting
The second Lockbox Piece requires you to light six pumpkins scattered across the Halloween areas. You need to interact with each pumpkin to activate it.
The first two are located in the main lobby. One pumpkin is underneath the large central tree near the back of the lobby. The second is closer to the elevator, sitting on top of a larger pumpkin.
For the third pumpkin, enter the OG Halloween Special Map. Head toward the back-right section until you find a grey door marked “Do Not Open” with yellow tape across it. Look directly across from this area to find two pumpkins on a grass patch. Interact with one of them.
The fourth pumpkin is also on the OG Halloween Special Map. Find the library on the left side of the area and walk toward the back. You will find a pumpkin sitting on a crate near the typewriter area.
The fifth pumpkin is located on the new Halloween Special map. Head toward the center of the map and look for a witch’s cauldron. A Jack-o’-lantern can be found beside it, near a small ramp leading toward another section.
For the sixth and final pumpkin, head to the new Halloween map’s concert stage. Look to the left of the stage for a bookshelf filled with books. The pumpkin is sitting on top of the shelf.
Key 3 — Turn On the Television
For the third piece, you need to return to the OG Halloween Special map and reach Floor 5. Once there, head toward the library area.
Outside the library, you will find a television sitting on top of a crate. Interact with the TV to turn it on and trigger the next Lockbox Piece.
This objective is relatively simple compared with some of the other Gourdy puzzles, but make sure you are on the correct Halloween map and floor. The television will not be in the main lobby.
Key 4 — Typewriter Code
The fourth piece also requires the OG Halloween Special map on Floor 5. After finding the television, enter the nearby library and walk all the way toward the back.
Look for the pumpkin on the left side and a small area on the right. Head into the right section to find a typewriter placed on a table with a chair.
Interact with the typewriter and enter the following code:
79-52-29
After entering the correct sequence, the game will give you another Lockbox Piece. Make sure you use the numbers in the correct order because entering the wrong code will not complete the objective.
Key 5 — Torn Picture 1
The fifth Lockbox Piece involves finding the first part of a Torn Photograph on the OG Halloween Map.
After spawning into the map, travel toward the left side until you reach a room filled with lockers. Look around this area for a hole in the wall.
Go through the opening to reach the Gourdy Bedroom. Inside the bedroom, check the bed to find the Torn Picture. Interact with it to collect the fifth piece for the Halloween quest.
Key 6 — Torn Picture 2
The sixth piece requires you to enter the new Halloween Map Stage. Once you spawn near the elevator, walk straight through the map until you reach the concert stage.
Climb onto the concert stage and check the left side of the area. You should find several crates nearby with another Torn Photograph next to them.
Interact with the photograph to collect the sixth Lockbox Piece. This is separate from the Torn Picture found inside Gourdy’s Bedroom, so you need to collect both photographs to complete the related objectives.
Key 7 — Gourdy Plush
The final Lockbox Piece is found in OG Roleplay Mode. Return to the main lobby and look for the room labeled Roleplay on the left side of the main hallway.
Enter the room and choose Twisted Gourdy from the available Twisted characters. Once you have transformed, leave the area and walk down the hallway.
Enter the first room on the left, then move through the room on the right to reach the second room. Inside, look for a sofa with a Gourdy Plush sitting on it.
Interact with the plush to collect the seventh and final Lockbox Piece.
Finding all seven Lockbox Pieces in Dandy’s World can take some time because the Gourdy Halloween Quest sends you across multiple maps and game modes. The poster and pumpkin objectives are relatively straightforward, while the typewriter, photographs, and Gourdy Plush require you to know exactly where to look.
Once you complete all seven objectives, you can finish the quest and earn the Locked Away Badge. Keep the locations above handy if you are missing one piece, especially since several objectives are hidden away from the normal path.
