Update 7 adds the Enchanted Forest to Steal an Egg, bringing eight new pets to collect. The biome is locked behind a huge 50 billion Speed requirement, making it one of the hardest areas to reach in the game.
The new pets range from easier early spawns like Prism Gecko to the much rarer Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale. There is also a secret Jitterbug pet connected to a hidden puzzle, although it is separate from the eight Enchanted Forest Index pets. Here is every new pet and how you can get them.
All 8 Enchanted Forest Pets
The eight pets are listed below roughly from the more common spawns to the rarest ones.
1. Prism Gecko
Prism Gecko is one of the easiest pets to obtain in the Enchanted Forest. It is a crystalline-looking gecko and is likely to be one of the first pets you get after entering the biome.
If you are working on the Enchanted Forest Index, this is a good starting pet before moving on to the rarer ones.
2. Petal Beetle
Petal Beetle is another relatively common Enchanted Forest pet. It has a flower-like appearance and should not take as much farming compared to the higher-rarity pets.
You can get it by stealing and hatching eggs from the Enchanted Forest.
3. Enchanted Bluejay
Enchanted Bluejay is a glowing bird and sits above the first two pets in terms of rarity. You obtain it from the biome’s eggs just like Prism Gecko and Petal Beetle.
It can also be useful when completing the Wisp quest that requires you to fuse an Enchanted Forest pet.
4. Astral Jackalope
Astral Jackalope is a star-themed rabbit and is one of the higher pets in the regular Enchanted Forest pool. It is still much easier to find than the rare pets at the top of the Index, but you may need several egg runs before getting one.
5. Spirit Panda
Spirit Panda starts the rarer section of the Enchanted Forest pet list. This translucent-looking panda has a lower chance of appearing than the first four pets, so expect to spend more time stealing and hatching eggs.
Keep farming the biome if you are still missing it from your Index.
6. Starry Fox
Starry Fox is another rare pet from the Enchanted Forest. Its constellation-style appearance makes it one of the more noticeable pets in the new biome.
Like Spirit Panda, the main way to get Starry Fox is to keep stealing and hatching Enchanted Forest eggs until it appears.
7. Celestial Sunlion
Celestial Sunlion is one of the two rarest pets added with Update 7. It is an Eternal-tier pet and is also connected to the Guardian found at the entrance of the Enchanted Forest.
You need to reach the biome first, which requires 50 billion Speed. Once inside, continue stealing and hatching the biome eggs for a chance to obtain the Celestial Sunlion.
This pet is also important for the secret fusion machine later in the progression.
8. Royal Skywhale
Royal Skywhale is the other major chase pet in the Enchanted Forest. It is a Divine-tier pet and is extremely rare compared with the lower-tier pets.
The only way to get it from the normal progression is by farming Enchanted Forest eggs. Because of its rarity, getting one can take considerably longer than collecting the first few pets.
Royal Skywhale is also required for the secret fusion involving Celestial Sunlion.
How to Reach the Enchanted Forest
Before you can collect any of these pets, you need to reach the new biome. The Enchanted Forest requires 50 billion Speed. This is a major jump from the previous areas, so you should spend some time improving your Speed before attempting to enter. The general progression toward the area goes through several high-level biomes, including:
- Cherry Blossom
- Titan
- Angels & Demons
- Enchanted Forest
Once you reach 50 billion Speed, you can make your way through the gate and enter the Enchanted Forest. The Guardian at the entrance is another reason why having enough Speed is important.
How to Get Enchanted Forest Pets
After entering the biome, the process is fairly simple.
- Find an Enchanted Forest egg.
- Steal the egg from its nest.
- Escape the Guardian and return to your base.
- Hatch the egg.
- Repeat the process until you collect the pets you need.
The eggs can hatch the different pets in the biome, with the common pets appearing more often than the rare ones.
If you’re trying to complete the entire Index, expect to spend much more time farming once you reach Spirit Panda, Starry Fox, Celestial Sunlion, and Royal Skywhale.
How to Unlock the Enchanted Tree
You do not need the Enchanted Tree to hatch the eight pets, but unlocking it gives you access to additional Update 7 content. Find Wisp near the Enchanted Forest entrance and complete its three quests.
The requirements are:
- Steal 20 Enchanted Forest eggs.
- Complete one fusion using an Enchanted Forest pet.
- Steal an Eternal egg.
After completing the quests, return to Wisp to unlock the Enchanted Tree.
The Tree is useful because it gives you access to the Butterfly Bloom event and the new Enchanted mutation.
How to Get the Enchanted Mutation
Inside the Enchanted Tree, you can get a Butterfly Net and start collecting butterflies during the Butterfly Bloom event.
The butterflies can be converted into higher-level materials:
- 10 Emerald → 1 Sapphire
- 10 Sapphire → 1 Amethyst
- 50 Amethyst → 1 Radiant
You can then create Enchanted Essence using:
- 240 Emerald
- 115 Sapphire
- 40 Amethyst
- 1 Radiant
The Enchanted Essence can be used through the Mutation Shrine to apply the Enchanted mutation.
This is worth doing before spending a lot of time farming the rare Enchanted Forest pets.
Secret Fusion: Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale
One of the biggest secrets in Update 7 is a hidden Fusion Machine.
You first need to complete the secret musical mushroom puzzle inside the Enchanted Tree. Completing the puzzle rewards you with Cricket’s Banjo.
Take the Banjo back to the upper section of the Enchanted Tree and find the missing bridge.
Equip Cricket’s Banjo near the gap. This activates the hidden bridge and lets you cross to the Secret Fusing Machine.
The special fusion requires two players.
Each player needs:
- 1 Celestial Sunlion
- 1 Royal Skywhale
Together, the players provide two Celestial Sunlions and two Royal Skywhales for the fusion.
This makes the two rarest Enchanted Forest pets especially important if you want to complete the update’s secret endgame content.
What About Jitterbug?
There is also a ninth pet connected to the Enchanted Forest update: Jitterbug.
However, Jitterbug is not one of the eight pets counted in the Enchanted Forest Index.
Jitterbug is obtained through the secret band-room puzzle inside the Enchanted Tree. After completing the mushroom memory puzzle, you can enter the hidden room and interact with Jitterbug to receive the special reward.
So, if you are trying to collect everything from Update 7, don’t stop after completing the eight-pet Index.
Are There Codes for Enchanted Forest Pets?
There are currently no codes that directly give you the eight Enchanted Forest pets. The normal method is to reach the biome, steal its eggs, and hatch them. That means Speed progression and repeated egg runs are the main parts of collecting the new pets.
The Enchanted Forest gives Steal an Egg players a new collection goal with eight pets ranging from Prism Gecko to the extremely rare Royal Skywhale and Celestial Sunlion.
The best approach is to reach 50 billion Speed first, then repeatedly steal and hatch Enchanted Forest eggs. Once you have access to the Enchanted Tree, work through Wisp’s quests and unlock the Enchanted mutation to improve your collection.
If you manage to get both Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale, don’t stop there. Get Cricket’s Banjo, activate the hidden bridge, and use the Secret Fusing Machine with another player to unlock the update’s special fusion.
