1. Enter the Enchanted Tree

First, you need access to the Enchanted Tree in the Enchanted Forest. The tree is unlocked by completing the Wisp questline. After entering the Enchanted Forest, find Wisp and complete the required quests. Once you finish the quests and return Wisp to the tree, you can enter the Enchanted Tree. You will need to reach the upper part of the tree to continue.

2. Get Cricket’s Banjo

The most important item for finding the hidden Fusion Machine is Cricket’s Banjo. You can get this item by completing the secret mushroom puzzle inside the Enchanted Tree. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the top of the Enchanted Tree.
2. Look for the area near the spiral path.
3. Jump onto the platform behind the Convert Shop.
4. Walk into the rising steam in this area.
5. You will be teleported to a hidden mushroom room.
6. Complete the Simon Says-style mushroom memory game.
7. After finishing the puzzle, a secret room will open.
8. Talk to Jitterbug to receive Cricket’s Banjo.

Keep the Banjo in your inventory because you need it to reveal the hidden path to the Fusion Machine.

3. Find the Hidden Bridge

Once you have Cricket’s Banjo, return to the upper section of the Enchanted Tree. Look around the edge of the area for a missing bridge. At first, there is no usable path across the gap. Equip Cricket’s Banjo and walk toward the edge near the missing bridge. The Banjo will activate the hidden path, allowing you to cross to the other side.

4. Enter the Hidden Fusion Chamber

After the bridge appears, cross it and continue forward. You will eventually reach the hidden Fusion Chamber. This is where the secret Fusion Machine is located. The machine is mainly used for a special two-player fusion, so you cannot complete its main recipe alone.

The hidden Fusion Machine has a special recipe involving two players. Each player needs to bring:
