Equipment is one of the most important parts of progression in Deskrawl. Better gear can improve your damage, defense, mana, health, and other stats, while some Legendary and Divine items can completely change how certain skills work.

Deskrawl equipment comes in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and Divine. Most gear can roll different Primary and Secondary Affixes, while some high-end items use fixed stats instead. There are currently 209 equipment items in the game across armor, accessories, weapons, and cosmetic Back items.

How Equipment Works in Deskrawl

Equipment can be worn on different body slots or equipped as a weapon. Most items can have random affixes from a specific stat pool, so two copies of the same item can have different stats.

Legendary equipment is more special because it comes with a passive effect that can support a specific build or skill. Divine equipment uses fixed stats and usually has very powerful effects.

The Back equipment slot works differently. These items are purely cosmetic and do not provide combat stats.

If you get equipment that you do not need, you have two options. You can sell it for Gold or salvage it to obtain crafting materials.

How to Choose Equipment in Deskrawl

The best equipment depends on your class and build. A high-rarity item is not automatically better if its passive does not work with your current skills.

For normal equipment, focus on affixes that improve the stats your build needs. Damage-focused characters may want Damage, Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage, Attack Speed, or elemental damage. Defensive builds can prioritize Max Health, Armor, Magic Resist, Dodge Chance, and damage reduction.

Legendary equipment deserves more attention because its passive can change how a skill works. For example, a Hunter using Deadeye Grips can improve Knife Barrage and Twin Arrows, while a Mage can use Ring of the Fourth Flame to change how Fireball works.

Divine equipment is generally much harder to replace because it uses fixed stats and can provide very strong bonuses. However, you should still compare the item with your current build instead of equipping it only because of its rarity.

Should You Sell or Salvage Equipment?

Not every equipment drop is worth keeping. If an item has poor stats or does not fit your build, you can sell it for Gold or salvage it for materials. Before selling a Legendary or Divine item, check its passive and fixed stats first. Some items may not look useful for your current build but can become valuable when you switch classes or skills.

For Common, Uncommon, and unwanted Rare gear, selling or salvaging can help keep your inventory clean while giving you resources for future progression.

Deskrawl has a large equipment system with armor, accessories, weapons, and cosmetic items. The rarity system ranges from Common to Divine, while random affixes give regular equipment different stat combinations.

Legendary equipment is especially useful for specialized builds because its passive effects can improve or completely change certain abilities. Divine equipment goes even further with powerful fixed stats and unique effects.

As you progress through harder content, focus on building around your class, skills, and preferred playstyle instead of simply using the item with the highest rarity. A well-matched Legendary or Rare item can be more useful than gear that looks stronger on paper.
