Anime Zero has released Update 3, bringing a new Trials mode, three Lyth units to unlock, additional rewards, and several improvements to the game’s existing systems. This update gives players more reasons to improve their builds, collect better accessories, and push through increasingly difficult challenges.

Besides the new game mode, Update 3 also introduces a redesigned guild system, expanded character slots, new accessories, matchmaking improvements, and several redeem codes. Here is everything you need to know about the latest Anime Zero update and how to make the most of its new features.

How Trials Works in Anime Zero

Trials is a new challenge mode where players progress through a series of rooms, with each room containing five floors. The fifth floor features a boss that you must defeat before moving forward. As you reach higher rooms, the difficulty increases, so having strong units, enough damage, and reliable survivability becomes increasingly important.

Some rooms are also tied to specific unit unlocks and cannot be skipped. This means you will need to progress through the required challenges instead of jumping directly to later rooms. If you want to reach the highest levels, prepare a build that can handle both regular enemies and powerful bosses.

Trials Rewards and Ranking System

Your performance in Trials affects the rewards you receive. The game uses a ranking system ranging from S to B, with faster room clears giving you better rewards. Simply defeating the boss is not always enough to get the best possible payout, so try to finish each challenge as efficiently as possible.

The maximum rewards available from a run include:

  • 35,000 Coins
  • 15 Crystals
  • 25 Lucky Spins

Trials also provides four types of food: Capray, Ham, Oris, and Burger. These items cover missing awakening materials, giving you another way to collect the resources needed to awaken your units.

There is also a leaderboard that tracks the highest room reached by players. You can approach any leaderboard in the game to check your current ranking and view the rewards associated with it. Checking your position regularly can help you set a clear target for your next Trials run.

How to Unlock the New Lyth Units

Update 3 introduces three Lyth units that players can obtain by completing specific Trials milestones. Each unit has a different requirement, and two of them require you to pay attention to the game mode used during the run.

Before attempting these challenges, make sure your team is strong enough to handle the required rooms. Reaching the correct room number is important, but completing it under the correct conditions is equally necessary for certain unlocks.

1. Silver Calamity

Silver Calamity requires you to clear Room 125 or higher while playing solo. You cannot rely on teammates for this milestone, so your unit setup needs to be strong enough to survive and deal damage independently.

Focus on improving your damage output, defensive options, and overall team composition before attempting the challenge. A build that performs well in co-op might struggle when playing alone, so test your setup in lower rooms first.

2. Astral Blossom

To unlock Astral Blossom, you must clear Room 150 or higher in co-op mode. Unlike Silver Calamity, this challenge requires you to complete the qualifying room alongside other players.

Consider joining a reliable group or using the updated matchmaking system to find teammates. Coordinating your damage and survival options can make higher Trials rooms easier to complete, especially when facing the boss on the fifth floor.

3. Void Arbiter

Void Arbiter has the highest room requirement among the three new Lyth units. You need to reach and clear Room 325 to meet its unlock condition.

This milestone is designed for players who are ready to push much further into Trials. Continue improving your units, awakening their abilities, and upgrading your equipment as you progress. Since the difficulty increases with each room, consistent improvements to your build will be important when working toward this unlock.

Anime Zero Update 3 Guild Changes

The guild system has received a major redesign, adding several features that make it easier to manage a guild and play with other members. Guilds can now support up to 60 players, giving larger communities more space to grow and organize group activities.

One of the most useful additions is the Call Guild feature. It allows you to notify online guild members and ask them to join your room, reducing the need to invite everyone individually. This can be especially helpful when preparing for co-op Trials or other difficult challenges.

Other guild improvements include:

  • A daily Guild XP bar to track guild progression.
  • A search feature for finding existing guilds.
  • Increased guild capacity of up to 60 members.
  • Easier ways to gather online guildmates for group activities.

These changes make it easier to find people to play with and keep track of your guild’s progress. If you regularly participate in co-op content, joining an active guild can help you find teammates more consistently.

New Matchmaking Feature

Anime Zero has improved matchmaking by allowing players to join open rooms from different lobby servers. Previously, finding an available group could be more restrictive, but this change gives you more options when looking for teammates.

You can enable or disable the cross-lobby room option through the queue settings. If you are struggling to find players for a particular activity, check whether this option is enabled before searching again.

This feature is particularly useful for players who want to complete the Astral Blossom unlock requirement. Since the challenge requires a co-op clear of Room 150 or higher, having access to more open rooms can make finding a suitable group easier.

13 New Accessories Added

Update 3 introduces 13 new accessories, providing more options for players who want to improve their character builds. Three of these accessories are wings, while the remaining 10 can be crafted.

With four accessory slots available, choosing the right combination can make a difference to your overall setup. Instead of equipping items based only on their appearance, compare their stats and consider how they support your current units.

Check the newly added crafting recipes to see which accessories you can make with your available materials. Prioritize the items that provide useful stats for your build rather than spending resources on equipment that offers little improvement.

More Character Slots and New Emotes

The maximum number of character slots has increased from four to 15. This is a significant improvement for players who collect multiple units and want to keep more of them available without constantly managing their roster.

Having additional slots also makes it easier to experiment with different team compositions. You can keep alternative units for specific challenges, including Trials rooms that require different approaches to damage and survival.

The update also adds 11 new emotes, bringing the total number of available emotes to 30. In addition, several new events have been introduced featuring different rewards, including Gems, Coins, Dice, and Crystals.

These additions give players more customization options and extra activities to explore alongside the main progression system.

Quality-of-Life Improvements in Update 3

Several changes in Update 3 aim to make normal gameplay more comfortable. Story mode now waits for players to vote before the first wave begins, giving everyone more time to prepare before combat starts.

Players also receive spawn protection while loading into a run. Another useful change allows you to receive a payout when leaving a run before it finishes, so you can still earn rewards for the time spent playing.

Other gameplay improvements include:

  • Critical hits now display red damage numbers, making them easier to identify.
  • Bosses have visible outlines that remain noticeable through large visual effects.
  • Camera shake can be adjusted from 0% to 100%.
  • Arrow keys can be used to move the camera.
  • Pressing H hides the interface for cleaner screenshots and recordings.
  • The game now supports 17 languages.
  • Mobile players receive larger buttons for easier controls.
  • Scrolling through the mobile shop should no longer trigger unwanted Roblox purchase pop-ups.
  • Console menus have received fixes and now display the correct PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 button icons.

If combat effects make it difficult to follow what is happening on screen, lowering camera shake may improve visibility. You can also hide the interface when recording gameplay footage or capturing screenshots.

Bug Fixes Included in Anime Zero Update 3

Alongside the new content, the developers have addressed several bugs affecting units, abilities, bosses, and daily activities. These fixes should help make regular gameplay more consistent.

The update includes fixes for the following issues:

  • No Faces Slam.
  • Sukuna’s Fuga ability.
  • Igris fighting the Infinite Boss.
  • Killya’s third skill.
  • Daily quests becoming stuck.

Additional bug fixes and exploit fixes are also included. These changes are intended to improve the overall experience across different activities and character abilities.

New Anime Zero Codes for Update 3

Update 3 also introduces three new redeem codes that provide useful resources. Redeeming them can help you improve your units, reroll traits, and collect more Coins before attempting higher Trials rooms. The three codes are:

  • SORRYFORDELAY — rewards include Lucky Spins, Trade Rerolls, and Coins.
  • UPDATE3LEGACY — rewards include Lucky Spins, Trade Rerolls, and Coins.
  • TIMESATURN — rewards include Lucky Spins, Trade Rerolls, and Coins.

Together, the three codes reportedly provide 666 Lucky Spins, 455 Trade Rerolls, and 655,555 Coins. These resources can help you experiment with different traits and strengthen your units before tackling harder challenges.

To redeem the codes, open Anime Zero and look for the game’s code redemption menu. Enter each code exactly as shown and claim the available rewards. If a code does not work, check whether it has expired or whether you have already redeemed it on your account.

Anime Zero Update 3 adds plenty of content for players to work toward, with Trials serving as the main attraction. The new mode offers increasingly difficult rooms, ranking-based rewards, awakening materials, and three Lyth units with different unlock requirements.

Silver Calamity requires a solo clear of Room 125 or higher, Astral Blossom needs a co-op clear of Room 150 or higher, and Void Arbiter requires clearing Room 325. Alongside these challenges, the redesigned guild system, expanded matchmaking, 13 new accessories, and additional character slots provide more ways to improve your gameplay experience.

Make sure to redeem the new codes, review your accessories, and prepare a reliable build before pushing into higher Trials rooms. With the right setup and enough progression, you will have a better chance of earning stronger rewards and unlocking everything introduced in Update 3.
