Sell Fries is a Roblox survival game where players must manage a fast-food shop while dealing with dangerous anomalies. Your main task is to turn potatoes into fries, sell them to customers, and use the money to buy upgrades. As you survive more shifts, you will eventually need to retrieve a Golden Key from a giant pile of potatoes.
However, running the shop is not always safe. Some customers are actually monsters hiding behind the order window, while other threats appear outside the shop at night. Each enemy has a different behavior, so knowing how to deal with them is important if you want to survive.
All Sell Fries Anomalies and How to Deal With Them
Anomalies in Sell Fries can look different from normal customers. Some have disturbing appearances, bloodshot eyes, or red and broken text in their speech bubbles. Others appear outside the shop after nightfall and can attack your character.
The most important rule is to avoid serving suspicious customers. If an anomaly appears at the order window, giving it fries can cause it to attack immediately. Nighttime monsters require different actions, but running back inside the shop is often the safest way to survive.
1. Window Anomaly
The Window Anomaly appears at the order window and tries to get you to serve it food. You can usually recognize it by its bloodshot eyes and red, distorted text. Unlike regular customers, this creature will attack if you give it a pack of fries.
To survive, close the shop shutter as soon as you notice the anomaly. Press the red button near the window to shut it. The monster should then leave without harming you.
Do not waste time preparing its order or trying to serve it. Closing the shutter is the safest response and helps you avoid losing progress during your shift.
2. Potato Eater
The Potato Eater is a monster that focuses on stealing potatoes from the conveyor. It does not directly attack your character in the same way as some other anomalies, but it can interrupt your work by consuming the ingredients you need to make fries.
To stop it, approach the Potato Eater and hold the E key to scare it away. Try to deal with it as soon as it appears so you can protect your potato supply and continue serving regular customers.
Although this enemy is less dangerous than the other monsters, ignoring it can slow down your business. Losing potatoes means you may have fewer fries to sell, which can affect your earnings during the shift.
3. Shadow Entity
The Shadow Entity is a dark figure that can appear outside the shop. It wears round headgear and may knock your character down if you get too close. When this monster appears, a warning message reading “RUN INSIDE!” flashes on the screen.
The safest way to handle the Shadow Entity is to return to the shop immediately. Avoid staying outside to investigate it, especially if you are carrying important items or trying to finish a task.
You can also use a Cross or a Gun to get rid of the monster, if you have one available. However, running inside is the more straightforward option when you are unsure whether you can defeat it.
4. Cat Monster
The Cat Monster is another nighttime threat that can appear outside the shop. Like the Shadow Entity, it can put you in danger if you remain outside instead of finding a safe place.
You can use a Cross or a Gun to deal with the Cat Monster. If you do not have either item, run back inside the shop and stay there for several in-game minutes. Wait until you are confident the creature has disappeared before going outside again.
Do not rush back out just because the monster is no longer visible. Giving it enough time to leave can help you avoid an unexpected attack while you return to your normal tasks.
5. The Giant
The Giant is one of the most dangerous monsters in Sell Fries. It has a massive body, antlers, and a glowing purple appearance. Its arrival is marked by rumbling ground effects and static on your screen, making it easier to recognize when it is nearby.
This monster attacks by firing energy beams from its glowing eyes. Before a beam hits, a circle appears on the ground to show the impact area. Watch for this warning and move away from the marked spot if you are caught outside.
Unlike the Shadow Entity and Cat Monster, The Giant cannot be defeated with a Gun or a Cross. Your only reliable way to survive its attack is to run inside the shop and remain safe until the threat passes.
The Giant can appear from Night 2 onwards in Hard mode, making nighttime shifts much more dangerous. If you are playing on this difficulty, prepare to return indoors quickly whenever you notice the warning signs.
Tips for Surviving Anomalies in Sell Fries
Surviving anomalies becomes easier when you recognize their warning signs and respond without hesitation. Keep these tips in mind while managing your shop.
- Watch the order window: Look for bloodshot eyes and red, broken speech text before serving a customer.
- Close the shutter quickly: Use the red button whenever a Window Anomaly appears.
- Protect your potatoes: Scare away the Potato Eater by approaching it and holding E.
- Return indoors at night: The shop is your safest place when the Shadow Entity, Cat Monster, or The Giant appears.
- Carry defensive items when possible: A Cross or Gun can help against the Shadow Entity and Cat Monster, but they will not stop The Giant.
- Pay attention to warnings: Messages such as “RUN INSIDE!” and visual effects can alert you to nearby danger.
- Be extra careful in Hard mode: The Giant can appear from Night 2, so avoid staying outside longer than necessary.
Sell Fries requires more than making fries and earning money. You must also recognize anomalies and react correctly to avoid being attacked. Close the shutter when a suspicious customer appears, scare away the Potato Eater before it consumes too many ingredients, and return indoors when nighttime monsters arrive.
Remember that not every enemy can be defeated with weapons. The Shadow Entity and Cat Monster can be handled with a Cross or Gun, but The Giant must be avoided by taking shelter inside the shop. Learning these differences will help you survive more shifts and make progress toward finding the Golden Key.
