Crushed Bones are one of the limited-time ingredients available during Fischfright 3 in Fisch. You can use them to increase your Hex Stage and activate certain rituals, making them an important item to collect during the Halloween event. However, getting Crushed Bones can take some time because their drop rate depends on the activity you complete.
The easiest way to get Crushed Bones is by completing quests from Goblins that appear across different islands. You can also obtain them through Hexing Rituals, although this method requires you to use a Crushed Bone to activate the ritual in the first place.

How to Get Crushed Bones in Fisch
There are two ways to obtain Crushed Bones during Fischfright 3: completing Goblin objectives and receiving random ingredients from Hexing Rituals. Goblin quests are the better option if you want to collect them from scratch, as they do not require you to spend a Crushed Bone to get started.
1. Complete Goblin Quests
Goblins spawn every five minutes at one of several locations in Fisch. Only three Goblins appear during each spawn, and each one gives you an objective to complete. Once you finish an objective, you receive ingredients as a reward.
The ingredients you obtain depend on the quest’s difficulty. Crushed Bones can drop from Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme objectives, but they are not available from Ultimate difficulty quests.
You can find Goblins at these locations:
- Moosewood
- Roslit Bay
- Forsaken Shores
- Mushgrove
- Scoria Reach
- Ancient Isle
- Lost Jungle
- Terrapin
- Snowcap Island
- Skycrest
- Sunstone
- Castaway Cliffs
- Everturn Forest
Since Goblins appear every five minutes, keep checking these locations and complete as many objectives as possible. The drop rates vary depending on the difficulty, so choosing the right quest can make a difference when farming Crushed Bones.
2. Crushed Bones Drop Rates
Each Goblin objective has a different reward pool. Here are the Crushed Bone drop rates for every difficulty.
- Easy: 12.5% drop chance
- Normal: 12.5% drop chance
- Hard: 18.75% drop chance
- Extreme: 6.25% drop chance
- Ultimate: No Crushed Bone drops
Hard quests have the highest Crushed Bone drop rate at 18.75%. If your goal is to collect this ingredient, prioritizing Hard objectives is a good strategy, provided you can complete them reliably.
Easy and Normal quests have the same 12.5% chance, while Extreme quests have a lower rate of 6.25%. This means that choosing the hardest available quest is not always the best option for farming this specific ingredient.
3. Crushed Bone Rewards From Goblin Quests
Besides Crushed Bones, Goblin objectives can reward you with other ingredients used during Fischfright. The available items and their drop rates change depending on the difficulty.
Easy Difficulty
- Crushed Bone: 12.5%
- Dirty Candy Corn: 75%
- Strange Root: 12.5%
Normal Difficulty
- Crushed Bone: 12.5%
- Dirty Candy Corn: 47.5%
- Strange Root: 12.5%
- Bat Wing: 1%
- Dark Art Skull: 0.5%
- Giant Mushroom: 12.5%
- Raven Feather: 1%
- Spider Eye: 12.5%
Hard Difficulty
- Crushed Bone: 18.75%
- Dirty Candy Corn: 11.5%
- Strange Root: 18.75%
- Bat Wing: 1%
- Dark Art Skull: 1%
- Giant Mushroom: 12.5%
- Raven Feather: 12.5%
- Spider Eye: 12.5%
Extreme Difficulty
- Crushed Bone: 6.25%
- Strange Root: 6.25%
- Bat Wing: 12.5%
- Dark Art Skull: 12.5%
- Giant Mushroom: 25%
- Raven Feather: 12.5%
- Spider Eye: 25%
If you need other Fischfright ingredients as well, check the full reward pool before choosing an objective. Hard quests are better for Crushed Bones, while Extreme quests have higher drop rates for items such as Giant Mushrooms and Spider Eyes.
4. Get Random Ingredients From Hexing Rituals
Hexing Rituals can also reward you with random ingredients, potentially including Crushed Bones. However, there is an important limitation: you need to use one Crushed Bone to activate the ritual.
Because of this requirement, Hexing Rituals are not the best method if you have no Crushed Bones yet. It is better to farm Goblin objectives first and save Hexing Rituals for when you already have the ingredients needed to activate them.
How to Use Crushed Bones in Fisch
Once you have collected Crushed Bones, you can use them for Beatrix’s Cauldron and several Fischfright rituals. Make sure you keep enough for any ritual you plan to complete before spending all your ingredients on Hex Energy.
1. Increase Your Hex Stage at Beatrix’s Cauldron
Beatrix’s Cauldron allows you to add ingredients to gain Hex Energy and increase your Hex Stage. Raising your Hex Stage helps you earn more Fischfright rewards.
Each ingredient provides a different amount of Hex Energy. Adding a Crushed Bone gives you +2 Hex Energy, making it a useful ingredient if you need to increase your progress.
Other ingredients, including Spider Eyes, Giant Mushrooms, Raven Feathers, Bat Wings, and Dark Art Skulls, provide more Hex Energy. If your main goal is to raise your Hex Stage quickly, consider saving those higher-value ingredients for the cauldron while keeping at least one Crushed Bone for the rituals you want to complete.
2. Activate the Hexing Ritual
The Hexing Ritual requires the following ingredients for Jack-o’-Lanterns:
- 1x Crushed Bone
- 1x Dirty Candy Corn
- 1x Tombstone Tuna
- 1x Taffy Trout
- 1x Jagged one
- 1x Licorice Lamprey
- 1x Candy Corn Pack
Make sure you have every required ingredient before attempting the ritual. Since Crushed Bones are obtained through random drops, it is worth collecting an extra one if you also want to use them for other Fischfright activities.
3. Activate the Jack-o-Moon Ritual
The Jack-o-Moon Ritual requires the following ingredients for Skeletal Hands:
- 1x Crushed Bone
- 1x Strange Root
This ritual has a shorter ingredient list than some of the other options, but you still need a Crushed Bone to activate it. If you are planning to complete multiple rituals, keep track of your ingredients so you do not use the last one for a different activity.
4. Activate the Haunted Cemetery Ritual
The Haunted Cemetery Ritual requires these ingredients for Jack-o’-Lanterns:
- 1x Crushed Bone
- 1x Dirty Candy Corn
- 1x Strange Root
- 1x Giant Mushroom
- 1x Spider Eye
- 1x Bat Wing
- 1x Raven Feather
This ritual requires several different ingredients, so completing Goblin objectives regularly can help you build up the items you need. Keep an eye on the reward pools and collect the required materials before attempting the ritual.
5. Activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual
The Ghoul Nessie Ritual also requires the following ingredients for Jack-o’-Lanterns:
- 1x Crushed Bone
- 1x Dirty Candy Corn
- 1x Strange Root
- 1x Giant Mushroom
- 1x Spider Eye
- 1x Bat Wing
- 1x Raven Feather
Its listed ingredient requirements match those of the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. If you plan to complete both, you will need enough materials for each one, including two Crushed Bones.
Best Way to Farm Crushed Bones in Fisch
The most reliable approach is to keep completing Goblin objectives and focus on Hard difficulty quests whenever possible. They offer an 18.75% chance to drop Crushed Bones, which is higher than the rates for Easy, Normal, and Extreme objectives.
You can also use the five-minute Goblin spawn cycle to plan your farming route. Check the available locations, complete the objectives you can handle, and repeat the process when new Goblins appear. Avoid Ultimate objectives if you only want Crushed Bones, as they do not drop from that difficulty.
Remember to save enough Crushed Bones for any rituals you want to activate. While adding them to Beatrix’s Cauldron provides +2 Hex Energy, using your last Crushed Bone there may leave you unable to complete a ritual until you find another one.
Crushed Bones are an important Fischfright 3 ingredient used for increasing Hex Energy and activating several rituals in Fisch. The best way to obtain them is by completing Goblin objectives, with Hard quests offering the highest drop chance at 18.75%. Hexing Rituals can also provide random ingredients, but they require a Crushed Bone to activate.
Keep farming Goblins, collect the other Halloween ingredients you need, and save enough Crushed Bones for your planned rituals. Since the item is limited to Fischfright 3, it is worth collecting what you need while the event is available.
