Finding all five collectibles in Paranormal is the main objective of the Hollow Halloween scavenger quest. Each item is hidden in a different part of the house, and some require keys or completing small tasks before you can reach them. Collecting everything rewards you with the Halloween Scavenger Paranormal Badge and 20 Tickets to spend in The Hollow.

This guide covers the locations of the Candy Bucket, Pumpkin Pie, Buddy Plushie, Vampire Coffin, and Witch Clock. You will also learn how to access locked rooms, restore the power in the garage, and complete Act 1 without needing to finish the entire run.

How to Start the Hollow Event in Paranormal

To begin the Hollow event quest, launch Paranormal directly or enter the game through The Hollow. Once you are in Paranormal, select Act 1 and start a run. Your objective is to explore the house and collect five Halloween-themed items scattered throughout different rooms.

You do not need to complete Act 1 to earn the rewards. As long as you locate all five collectibles during your run, you can unlock the Halloween Scavenger Paranormal Badge and receive 20 Tickets. These Tickets can then be used to purchase rewards in The Hollow Lobby.

All Five Collectible Locations in Paranormal

There are five items you must find to complete the Paranormal Hollow scavenger quest. Some are easy to spot, while others require keys, opening specific doors, or completing an additional objective. Follow the locations below in order to make your search easier and avoid wandering around the house unnecessarily.

1. Candy Bucket

The Candy Bucket is the first collectible you can obtain after spawning into Act 1. It is located directly in front of your starting position, making it the easiest item to collect during the entire quest. Walk toward the item and look at the wooden plank blocking your path.

Crouch to move past the plank, then approach the Candy Bucket and pick it up. You do not need a key or any additional requirements for this collectible. Once you have it, continue toward the kitchen to find the next item.

2. Pumpkin Pie

After collecting the Candy Bucket, turn right and head into the kitchen. Walk past the kitchen table and continue toward the stove area. The Pumpkin Pie is placed on the kitchen counter, so you should be able to spot it once you reach the cooking area.

Approach the Pumpkin Pie and collect it before returning to the starting area. You can gather this item immediately after the Candy Bucket without unlocking any doors or completing another objective. With the first two collectibles secured, your next destination is the dining room and living room area.

3. Buddy Plushie

The Buddy Plushie requires a little more exploration because you must unlock the dining room area and extinguish four candles. First, return to the starting location where you found the Candy Bucket. Look for a lamp on the floor nearby, as a Dining Room Key can be found next to it.

Pick up the key, equip it, and unlock the first door on your left. This leads to the dining room and living room area. Explore both rooms and blow out all four candles before continuing. Once every candle has been extinguished, look for the door marked with arrows on its sides and a message above it.

Go through that door, walk straight ahead, and enter the first room on your left. The Buddy Plushie is located in the corner of this room. Pick it up to secure your third collectible.

Before leaving, make sure you also collect the Kid’s Bathroom Key. Check the drawers of the white bookshelf on the right side of the room. You will need this key to enter the bathroom and obtain the Vampire Coffin.

4. Vampire Coffin

After collecting the Buddy Plushie and Kid’s Bathroom Key, leave the room and turn right. Look for a glowing door nearby, which leads to the Kid’s Bathroom. Equip the key you collected from the bookshelf drawer and use it to unlock the entrance.

Once inside, look toward the wash basin. The Vampire Coffin is positioned on top of it, making this collectible relatively straightforward to obtain once you have the correct key. Approach the coffin and pick it up to complete the fourth part of the scavenger quest.

The only collectible remaining is the Witch Clock. To reach it, you must find the Garage Key and restore the power inside the garage. Make sure you have the Vampire Coffin before leaving the bathroom so you do not need to return later.

5. Witch Clock

The Witch Clock is the final collectible in the Paranormal Hollow event. Unlike the previous items, it requires you to locate the Garage Key and activate the power before you can collect it. The key can spawn in different places among the drawers and shelves in a particular room, so you may need to check several containers.

Follow these steps to find the Garage Key and reach the Witch Clock:

  1. Leave the Kid’s Bathroom and return to the hallway.
  2. Turn right and continue straight ahead.
  3. Take another right and enter the first room on your right.
  4. Search the drawers and shelves throughout the room until you find the Garage Key. Its spawn location can vary.
  5. Return to the starting area and look for another glowing door.
  6. Equip the Garage Key and use it to unlock the door.
  7. Enter the garage and descend the stairs.
  8. Look for the lever directly in front of you and pull it up to restore the power.
  9. After activating the power, look to your left to find the Witch Clock.

Approach the Witch Clock and collect it to finish the scavenger quest. Once you have obtained all five collectibles, you will receive the Halloween Scavenger Paranormal Badge and 20 Tickets. You can then return to The Hollow and spend your Tickets on available event rewards.

Paranormal Hollow Event Rewards

Completing the five-item scavenger hunt provides two confirmed rewards: the Halloween Scavenger Paranormal Badge and 20 Tickets. The badge serves as proof that you completed the collectible challenge, while the Tickets function as event currency for The Hollow Lobby.

The Haunted Wrench is also mentioned among the rewards associated with the broader Act 1 guide. However, the five-collectible objective specifically confirms the badge and 20 Tickets, so you should check the in-game quest requirements if you are trying to unlock the Haunted Wrench as well.

Tips for Finding All Collectibles Faster

Searching the entire house without a plan can make this quest take longer than necessary. Following a consistent route helps you collect the items in a logical order while minimizing backtracking, especially when dealing with locked rooms and the garage.

Keep these tips in mind while completing the challenge:

  • Collect nearby items first: Pick up the Candy Bucket and Pumpkin Pie before exploring the locked rooms.
  • Remember the Dining Room Key: Check near the floor lamp at the starting area.
  • Extinguish all four candles: You must complete this task to access the area containing the Buddy Plushie.
  • Collect the bathroom key immediately: Search the white bookshelf drawers in the Buddy Plushie room.
  • Check every drawer and shelf for the Garage Key: Its location can vary between runs.
  • Activate the garage power: Pull the lever before searching for the Witch Clock.
  • Focus on the five collectibles: Completing the entire Act 1 run is not necessary to earn the badge and Tickets from this quest.

Finding all five Paranormal collectibles is straightforward once you know where to look and which keys you need. Start with the Candy Bucket and Pumpkin Pie, then unlock the dining room area to obtain the Buddy Plushie and Kid’s Bathroom Key. From there, collect the Vampire Coffin and search for the Garage Key to access the final Witch Clock.

After collecting the Witch Clock, you should receive the Halloween Scavenger Paranormal Badge and 20 Tickets. Use these rewards to progress through The Hollow event and unlock the available Halloween content before the event ends.
