Crusader Class World Zero Skills, Unlock Guide, and More

World Zero has introduced the Crusader, a new mastery class for players who use the Paladin. Unlike classes that focus on dealing high damage, Crusader is designed to support teammates by increasing their damage, attack speed, and movement speed while providing some healing and shielding.

However, unlocking this class takes some effort, and its damage output is much lower than that of dedicated DPS classes. So, is Crusader worth using in World Zero? Here is how to unlock it, an overview of its skills, and a look at its performance in Insane Mode dungeons.

How to Unlock Crusader in World Zero

Crusader is the mastery class for Paladin. To unlock it, you need to heal other players 5,000 times. This can take a while if you rely on normal gameplay, but there are a few ways to make the process faster.

One recommended method is to visit the poison lake near the castle in World One and repeatedly use your healing ability on other players. If other players are nearby, you can continue healing them to build progress toward the requirement.

If the area is empty, try joining raids with a large number of players. More teammates give you additional opportunities to use your healing skills. You can also equip pets or perks that reduce skill cooldowns, allowing you to heal more frequently and complete the requirement sooner.

Crusader Class Skills and Abilities

Crusader is the first pure support class in World Zero. Its main purpose is to improve the performance of teammates rather than deal high damage on its own. Although its abilities can inflict some damage, their real value comes from the buffs they provide.

Crusader Rally

Crusader Rally deals a small amount of damage while giving nearby allies useful buffs. It increases movement speed and attack speed, helping teammates move around the battlefield and attack enemies more quickly.

The ability also provides a small shield, offering some additional protection during combat. While the damage is not impressive, the combination of speed boosts and shielding can help a team maintain pressure against enemies.

Divine Armament

Divine Armament is one of Crusader’s main damage-support abilities. It increases damage by 20% and critical chance by 15%, allowing teammates to deal more damage while the buff is active.

The skill also provides a small amount of healing. However, its healing effect is limited, so it should not be treated as a replacement for a dedicated healer. Its primary purpose is to improve the team’s offensive power.

Light’s Decree

Light’s Decree rains down swords that deal a small amount of damage to enemies. The damage itself is not the main reason to use this skill, as its additional effects are much more valuable.

The ability charges your ultimate by 4% per second for seven seconds and provides 25% cooldown reduction. These effects help you access your ultimate more frequently and reduce the time you need to wait before using other abilities again.

Glory Eternal

Glory Eternal is Crusader’s ultimate ability. It deals a small amount of damage and grants the Glory buff, which provides additional bonuses that improve your combat performance.

Crusader can also heal itself for a small amount when using its dash. While these defensive effects are useful, the class still relies heavily on its buffs to provide value to the rest of the party.

Crusader Damage Test in World Zero

To evaluate Crusader’s performance, its damage and dungeon completion times were compared with stronger damage-dealing classes in Insane Mode dungeons. Since Crusader is designed as a support class, the tests used two-player parties.

The same build was used for every tested class to focus on the differences between their abilities rather than equipment. No item or pet swapping was performed during the dungeon tests.

Labyrinth Insane Mode Comparison

The solo damage comparison showed that Crusader was slower than both Paladin and Leviathan when completing the Labyrinth on Insane Mode.

  • Crusader: 4 minutes and 48 seconds.
  • Paladin: 3 minutes and 54 seconds.
  • Leviathan: 2 minutes and 38 seconds.

These results show that Crusader struggles to compete with dedicated damage dealers when playing alone. Its support abilities are more useful when teammates can benefit from the buffs, but its low personal damage makes solo content take longer.

Crystal Chaos Insane Mode

The first duo test took place in Crystal Chaos on Insane Mode. Crusader was paired with Stormcaller and compared with a Leviathan and Stormcaller team.

  • Crusader + Stormcaller: 6 minutes and 6 seconds.
  • Leviathan + Stormcaller: 4 minutes and 59 seconds.

The Leviathan team finished over a minute faster. This suggests that replacing a dedicated DPS class with Crusader can reduce the team’s overall damage output, even when Crusader provides buffs to its partner.

Winter Cavalry Insane Mode

The second test took place in Winter Cavalry on Insane Mode. Crusader was paired with Leviathan, while the comparison team used Stormcaller and Leviathan.

  • Crusader + Leviathan: 3 minutes and 17 seconds.
  • Stormcaller + Leviathan: 2 minutes and 46 seconds.

Once again, the team with two damage-focused classes completed the dungeon faster. Crusader’s buffs did not make up for the damage lost by replacing another offensive class.

Aether Fortress Insane Mode

The final comparison was conducted in Aether Fortress on Insane Mode. The Crusader and Stormcaller team was tested against a Leviathan and Stormcaller team.

  • Crusader + Stormcaller: 4 minutes and 17 seconds.
  • Leviathan + Stormcaller: 3 minutes and 8 seconds.

This was another clear win for the team using Leviathan. Across all three dungeon tests, the Crusader team took longer to finish than the team with two damage-focused classes.

These tests used specific builds and two-player parties, so the results do not necessarily represent every possible team setup. Crusader may perform differently in a larger group where more players can benefit from its buffs.

Crusader Class Pros and Cons

Before spending time unlocking Crusader, it is worth considering both its strengths and weaknesses. The class has some appealing features, but its current performance may not suit players who want to clear dungeons as quickly as possible.

Pros

  • Strong visual design: Crusader has stylish effects and smooth animations.
  • Team damage buffs: Divine Armament increases damage by 20% and critical chance by 15%.
  • Attack and movement speed boosts: Crusader Rally helps teammates attack and move faster.
  • Cooldown reduction: Light’s Decree provides 25% cooldown reduction and helps charge the ultimate.
  • Some defensive utility: The class offers a small shield and limited healing.

Cons

  • Very low personal damage: Crusader deals significantly less damage than dedicated DPS classes.
  • Buffs are not always active: Teammates cannot benefit from the full bonuses at all times.
  • Limited healing: Its healing effects are weaker than those of dedicated healing classes.
  • Slower dungeon clears: The tested Crusader teams consistently finished Insane Mode dungeons more slowly.
  • Limited value in smaller parties: With fewer teammates, there are fewer players to benefit from its support abilities.

Is Crusader Worth Using in World Zero?

In its current state, Crusader appears to be a weak choice for players who prioritize fast dungeon clears. Its buffs can increase teammate damage by around 30–40% under favorable conditions, but the bonuses are not active all the time. Meanwhile, Crusader’s own damage is considerably lower than that of a standard DPS class such as Leviathan.

The situation can become less favorable in larger parties because additional players increase the health of enemies and bosses. Crusader’s buffs may help the team, but its limited damage and healing make it difficult to justify replacing a strong damage dealer or dedicated healer.

The class might have a niche in a team built around several powerful damage dealers, such as a group using three Starbreakers against a boss with low remaining health. In that situation, increasing the team’s damage could potentially be more valuable than bringing another DPS class. However, this is a specific scenario rather than proof that Crusader is generally the best support option.

Crusader also does not appear to provide as much healing utility as a dedicated healer using the Healing Orb or a class such as Paladin or Mage of Light. If your goal is to support a team through healing and survival, those alternatives may be more useful.

Crusader is an interesting addition to World Zero, especially for players who enjoy support classes and want to unlock new mastery options. Its smooth animations, visual effects, and team buffs make it appealing, but its low damage output is a major weakness.

Based on the available Insane Mode dungeon tests, Crusader is not the best choice for players who want the fastest possible clears. Its buffs do not consistently compensate for the damage lost by replacing another DPS class, and its healing is limited compared with dedicated healers.

If you enjoy collecting classes and want a character with a distinctive appearance, Crusader may still be worth unlocking. However, players focused on combat efficiency may prefer to stick with stronger damage dealers or more effective healing classes until Crusader receives potential balance changes.
