Steal an Egg features several bosses that protect the Eggs found in different biomes. Whenever you steal an Egg from their territory, the boss will wake up and chase you. Your objective is to escape and reach the Safe Zone before the boss catches you. Each boss has a different speed requirement, so you need to prepare your character before attempting to steal valuable Eggs.

There are two main boss categories in Steal an Egg: Permanent and Limited bosses. Permanent bosses protect the regular biomes, while Limited bosses appear during special events and updates. This guide covers all Steal an Egg bosses, their locations, recommended speed requirements, and event availability.

Types of Bosses in Steal an Egg

Before looking at the complete boss list, you should understand the differences between Permanent and Limited bosses. Both types have different purposes, and knowing how they work will help you prepare before entering their locations.

Permanent Bosses

Permanent bosses are enemies that protect the Eggs in the game’s regular biomes. Each location has its own boss, and stealing an Egg will trigger a chase. You must escape from the boss and reach the Safe Zone without getting caught.

Every boss has a different recommended speed requirement. However, reaching the suggested speed does not always guarantee a successful escape because the size of the Egg also affects your movement speed.

For example, Moby protects the Abyss Ocean Biome and has a recommended minimum speed of 2.5m. You might be able to escape easily with a small Egg, but carrying a larger one can slow you down enough for Moby to catch you.

To avoid this problem, consider increasing your speed beyond the recommended requirement or choosing smaller Eggs when stealing from dangerous locations.

Limited Bosses

Limited bosses are special enemies introduced through updates and seasonal events. Unlike permanent bosses, they are usually found in separate areas that you must teleport to from the main world.

These bosses are connected to special activities and can provide event-themed rewards. You may need to defeat them repeatedly to collect event currencies or exclusive items.

Since they are only available for a limited period, make sure to participate before their events end. Three limited-time boss encounters have been introduced so far.

All Permanent Steal an Egg Bosses and Their Locations

There are 13 permanent boss entries listed across the different Steal an Egg biomes. Each boss protects a specific location and has its own recommended speed requirement. Some bosses do not have a listed speed requirement, while later biomes require significantly higher movement speed.

Here is the complete list:

1. Chicken

  • Location: Forest Biome
  • Minimum Speed: Not specified

Chicken is the boss found in the Forest Biome, which is one of the starting locations in Steal an Egg. There is no specific speed requirement listed for this boss. You can begin exploring this area early in the game and practice stealing Eggs before moving to more dangerous biomes.

2. Swan

  • Location: Lake Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 900

Swan protects the Lake Biome and has a recommended minimum speed of 900. Make sure your character meets this requirement before stealing an Egg from this location. Remember that carrying larger Eggs can reduce your movement speed and make escaping more difficult.

3. Scorpion

  • Location: Desert Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 10k

Scorpion is the boss guarding the Desert Biome. Its recommended speed requirement is 10k, which is considerably higher than the previous locations. Upgrade your movement speed before attempting to steal Eggs here, especially if you plan to carry larger ones.

4. Tiger

  • Location: Jungle Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 40k

Tiger protects the Jungle Biome and requires approximately 40k speed to escape safely. Players should prepare their characters before entering this location because the recommended speed increases significantly compared to the Desert Biome.

5. Yeti

  • Location: Snow Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 170k

Yeti is the boss found in the Snow Biome. You will need around 170k speed to meet its recommended escape requirement. If your character is still below this amount, consider improving your movement speed before attempting to steal Eggs from this area.

6. Cerberus

  • Location: Volcano Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 700k

Cerberus guards the Volcano Biome and has a recommended speed requirement of 700k. This is a significant increase from the Snow Biome, so make sure you have enough speed before attempting a robbery. Larger Eggs can make the chase more difficult.

7. Moby

  • Location: Abyss Ocean Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 2.5m

Moby is the boss protecting the Abyss Ocean Biome. You need approximately 2.5m speed to meet the recommended requirement for this location. However, the Egg’s size can still affect your escape, so having additional speed is recommended if you want to carry larger Eggs.

8. T-Rex

  • Location: Prehistoric Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 18m

T-Rex protects the Prehistoric Biome and requires around 18m speed. This is a major jump from the Abyss Ocean, making it important to upgrade your character before visiting this location. Avoid carrying oversized Eggs if your speed is only slightly above the requirement.

9. Cosmic Skeleton

  • Location: Cosmic Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 700m

Cosmic Skeleton is the boss found in the Cosmic Biome. Its recommended minimum speed reaches 700m, making it one of the more demanding permanent bosses. Players should focus on improving their movement speed before attempting to steal Eggs from this location.

10. Oni King

  • Location: Cherry Blossom Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 2.5b

Oni King protects the Cherry Blossom Biome and requires approximately 2.5b speed. At this stage, you will need substantial character progression to escape successfully. Make sure your speed is high enough to account for the movement penalty caused by carrying Eggs.

11. Gorilla King

  • Location: Titan Temple Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 7b

Gorilla King is the boss guarding Titan Temple. You need around 7b speed to meet its recommended requirement. Since this is a late-game location, make sure you have upgraded your character before attempting to steal anything from this biome.

12. ArchAngel, World Burner, and Aetheron

  • Location: Angels & Demons Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 20b

The Angels & Demons Biome features three boss names: ArchAngel, World Burner, and Aetheron. The recommended speed requirement for this location is 20b. Players should prepare for a difficult escape by improving their movement speed and avoiding Eggs that are too large.

13. Enchanted Lion

  • Location: Enchanted Forest Biome
  • Minimum Speed: 50b

Enchanted Lion protects the Enchanted Forest Biome and has the highest listed speed requirement among the permanent bosses. You need approximately 50b speed to meet the recommended requirement. Make sure your character is properly upgraded before attempting to steal Eggs from this area.

All Limited-Time Steal an Egg Bosses

Besides the permanent bosses, Steal an Egg also introduces special enemies through limited-time events and updates. These encounters take place in separate locations rather than the regular biomes.

Here are all three limited-time boss encounters currently listed:

1. Abyss Overlord

  • Location: Rift
  • Event: Rift

Abyss Overlord is a special boss introduced through the Rift event. Unlike permanent biome bosses, you must access its dedicated location to participate in the encounter. Players can fight this boss to collect rewards connected to the event.

2. Dr. Scramble

  • Location: Dr. Scramble’s Laboratory
  • Event: Dr. Scramble’s Laboratory

Dr. Scramble is another limited-time boss found inside Dr. Scramble’s Laboratory. This encounter is connected to its own special event area, where players can participate in the boss activity and collect event-related rewards.

3. Pumpkin King / Pumpkin Brute

  • Location: Abandoned Manor (Halloween Dimension)
  • Event: 2026 Halloween Event

Pumpkin King and Pumpkin Brute are Halloween-themed boss encounters introduced during the 2026 Halloween event. You can find them in the Abandoned Manor within the Halloween Dimension. Since this is a seasonal encounter, make sure to participate while the Halloween event is available.

Tips for Escaping Bosses in Steal an Egg

Stealing Eggs becomes more challenging as you explore higher-level biomes. Simply reaching the recommended speed is not always enough because the Egg you carry can affect your movement. Here are some things to consider before triggering a boss chase:

  • Upgrade your speed: Try to get more speed than the recommended requirement, especially when entering higher-level biomes.
  • Pay attention to Egg size: Larger Eggs can slow your character down, making it easier for bosses to catch you.
  • Choose smaller Eggs: If your speed is close to the required amount, consider stealing smaller Eggs to improve your chances of escaping.
  • Prepare before entering new biomes: Check the boss speed requirement before attempting to steal anything.
  • Participate in limited events: Special bosses may disappear when their events end, so take advantage of their availability while you can.

Steal an Egg features 13 permanent boss entries across its regular biomes, along with three limited-time boss encounters introduced through special events. Each permanent boss protects the Eggs in its territory, and stealing one will trigger a chase toward the Safe Zone.

Before attempting to steal Eggs from higher-level locations, make sure your movement speed meets the recommended requirement. Also, remember that larger Eggs can reduce your speed and make escaping more difficult. With the right preparation, you can explore more biomes, steal valuable Eggs, and participate in special boss events.
