Choosing the right units in Anime Adventures Roblox can make a major difference when clearing Story Mode, Infinite Mode, and other challenging stages. With more than 50 characters available, building a strong team is not always easy, especially when some units are better suited for support while others focus on dealing damage.

This Anime Adventures tier list ranks units based on their damage, abilities, attack range, crowd control, team buffs, and overall performance. You can use it to decide which characters deserve a place in your team and which ones are better treated as alternatives.

What Do the Tier Rankings Mean in Our Anime Adventures Tier List?

Each unit is placed into one of four tiers, ranging from S to C. S Tier contains the strongest characters in the current meta, while lower tiers generally include units with more specific roles or limitations. Keep in mind that a unit’s ranking can also depend on the game mode and the other characters in your team.

Here is what each ranking represents:

  • S Tier – Best Units: The strongest choices available, offering excellent damage, powerful abilities, or important team support.

  • A Tier – Very Good Units: Strong characters with useful abilities and reliable performance, although they have some weaknesses compared to S Tier.

  • B Tier – Decent Units: Situational picks that can provide good damage, buffs, debuffs, or crowd control but may need specific team setups.

  • C Tier – Mid Units: Characters with limited damage, smaller attack areas, long cooldowns, or other drawbacks that make them less effective than higher-ranked options.

Anime Adventures Meta Tier List – Best Units Ranked

The following rankings cover both Infinite Mode and Story Mode. Some units appear in different tiers depending on the game mode because their abilities and team roles do not always provide the same value in every situation.

Which Units Are S Tier in Anime Adventures?

S Tier units are the best characters to prioritize when building a strong team. Their abilities provide excellent damage, useful status effects, or powerful support that can improve the performance of other units. Here are the main reasons why these characters rank so highly.

Illusionist (Transcended) – Secret

Illusionist (Transcended) is a powerful unit with both damage and crowd control abilities. One of his most useful effects activates when enemies fall below 25% HP, placing them into a fragile state that makes them more vulnerable to incoming attacks. This can help your other units finish off dangerous enemies much faster.

He also has a strong placement effect that stuns every enemy and boss on the map for five seconds. Combined with his AoE attacks, this makes him particularly useful in Infinite Mode, where controlling large enemy waves is important.

Elyssia (Abyssal) – Mythical

Elyssia (Abyssal) is a strong damage dealer with excellent DPS, making her a valuable addition to many team compositions. Most of her offensive power comes from her Jellyfish and Eel summons, which continue applying pressure to enemies during battles. This gives her a reliable way to contribute damage without depending entirely on direct attacks.

Her performance becomes even better when paired with Zombie (Risen). This unit increases the damage dealt by summons, allowing Elyssia to benefit from an additional damage boost. If your team already uses summon-based characters, Elyssia is a strong option to consider.

Snow Reaper (Final) – Secret

Snow Reaper (Final) is useful because she combines damage with enemy control. Her attacks can slow enemies and apply Chilled stacks, making it harder for enemies to advance quickly. Once an enemy reaches six Chilled stacks, it becomes frozen and receives an additional hit based on her damage stat.

Another advantage is her relatively affordable deployment and upgrade costs compared to many other Secret units. This makes Snow Reaper a practical choice when you want a powerful character without spending as many resources as some other high-rarity options.

Enlightened (Nirvana) – Secret

Enlightened (Nirvana) has three different modes, giving him flexibility when dealing with different enemy types. His Bleed Mode deals circular AoE damage and applies a damage-over-time effect. The Bleed effect deals damage equal to 30% of his base damage over three ticks, providing another source of consistent damage.

His Hybrid Mode increases both damage and range while allowing him to attack flying enemies. This flexibility makes Enlightened a reliable choice for different stages, especially when your team needs a unit that can handle more than one situation.

Supreme Being (Sovereign) – Secret

Supreme Being (Sovereign) combines high damage, long range, and AoE attacks. His abilities allow him to hit multiple enemies, making him effective against large groups during difficult waves. He also has a passive ability that summons Shade Birth, which has HP equal to five times his raw damage and can deal additional damage.

Another important effect is his marking ability. Enemies within his range receive a mark that lasts for 12 seconds. If they remain within range, he can deal five times his damage to those marked targets, giving him a powerful way to punish enemies that stay in his attack area.

Chuuni (Delusion) – Mythical

Chuuni (Delusion) is one of the strongest support options in the current meta, particularly for teams focused on Magic damage. Her ability increases the Magic damage taken by targeted enemies by 50% per stack, up to three stacks. This can create a major damage increase when your team consistently attacks the same targets.

She also has Pact of Revelation, which deals damage equal to 7% of her damage stat every 0.5 seconds. This provides additional damage while her debuff helps other Magic units perform better. Her combination of support and offensive effects makes her useful in many team compositions.

Vengeful Swordsman (Sky Reaver) – Secret

Vengeful Swordsman (Sky Reaver) has a strong damage profile because his attacks can deal additional Magic damage equal to his damage stat. This effectively adds another layer of damage to his attacks. Physical damage buffs can also improve his Magic damage, giving him more opportunities to benefit from team support.

His White Flash Draw Technique guarantees a critical hit on the first attack against an enemy. It also penetrates 60% of both Physical and Magic resistance, allowing him to deal more damage against enemies with defensive properties. These effects make him particularly strong in Infinite Mansion mode.

Dracula (Unholy King) – Secret

Dracula (Unholy King) is a powerful Secret unit with a summoning ability that can create an army with more than 12 million total HP through Soul Restraint. These summoned units can deal damage while providing additional battlefield presence, making Dracula useful in several game modes.

He also has strong overall damage and three placements, giving him flexibility when setting up your defenses. His combination of summons and direct offensive power makes him a reliable option when facing tougher enemies.

Shinobi (Eternal) – Mythical

Shinobi (Eternal) is a strong DPS unit with large AoE attacks and damage-over-time effects. His attacks apply Burn, allowing him to continue damaging enemies after the initial hit. This is particularly useful when several enemies enter his attack range at the same time.

His Mangekyo Eye ability further improves his combat performance. With high damage, a large circular attack area, and Burn effects, Shinobi can perform well across different game modes.

Ghost-kun (Bound) – Mythical

Ghost-kun (Bound) is another strong damage dealer that can clear enemy waves efficiently. His final attack hits nine times, making it especially useful against enemies with shields. Instead of relying on a single large hit, the multi-hit attack allows him to apply repeated damage.

He also has cone-shaped AoE attacks and Fire damage-over-time effects. These abilities improve his performance against groups of enemies and make him a useful option for many team compositions.

Which Units Are A Tier in Anime Adventures?

A Tier units are strong alternatives if you do not have access to every S Tier character. Some can deal excellent damage, while others provide buffs or debuffs that make your entire team more effective. However, they usually have certain limitations, such as expensive upgrades, specific team requirements, or damage that takes time to reach its full potential.

Kansai (Daydream) – Mythical

Kansai (Daydream) is a damage-focused unit that performs well against enemies with high HP. His Daydream passive activates after 10 seconds without attacking, granting a damage increase that grows by 10% every second until it reaches 200%. This gives him the potential to deal much more damage when the passive reaches its maximum value.

The main drawback is that the bonus resets whenever he completes an attack. This makes it difficult to maintain the full damage increase consistently, especially when enemies frequently enter his range.

Griffin (Darkness) – Mythical

Griffin (Darkness) is one of the strongest damage dealers outside S Tier. His full AoE attacks and long range allow him to hit many enemies across a large area. This makes him particularly useful when you need a unit that can clear waves without focusing on individual targets.

However, reaching his maximum damage requires sacrificing expensive units and managing his sacrifice meter. This makes his setup costly and requires more planning than many other damage dealers.

Pirate King (Final) – Secret

Pirate King (Final) is a strong unit with high damage, excellent range, and a large circular AoE attack. His attacks can hit multiple enemies at once, making him useful for controlling large waves. He also has a passive effect that stuns enemies with every attack, providing additional crowd control.

His biggest weakness is the cost required to reach his maximum upgrade. While his performance is strong, you need to invest a considerable amount of resources before getting the most out of him.

Iceclaw (Azure Fang) – Mythical

Iceclaw (Azure Fang) is effective against high-HP enemies thanks to his strong raw DPS. He also has a 50% critical chance, which gives him more opportunities to deal increased damage. His cone-shaped AoE allows him to hit multiple enemies rather than focusing on just one target.

Despite these strengths, Iceclaw has a high placement cost. There are also other units that can provide better damage, which prevents him from reaching the highest tier.

Somber (Buzzsaw) – Mythical

Somber (Buzzsaw) becomes more useful during longer battles because her attacks apply Bleed damage over six ticks. This allows her to deal additional damage after hitting an enemy, making her a reasonable option against targets with large health pools.

At higher upgrades, she gains a circular AoE attack that can damage several enemies at once. However, other Bleed-focused units can provide stronger damage, which makes her less attractive compared to the best options.

Menace (Terror) – Mythical

Menace (Terror) is especially effective when fighting enemies affected by Bleed. His passive allows him to deal three times his current damage to every bleeding enemy within range. Critical hits can increase this multiplier to 4.5 times, giving him strong damage potential when paired with the right units.

He also has an active ability that stuns enemies for two seconds. The downside is its 20-second cooldown, which prevents him from using the effect frequently throughout a battle.

Fused Hero – Mythical

Fused Hero is a powerful Mythical damage dealer that can clear waves across different game modes. You can obtain him when Carrot (Ultra) or Vego (Mage II) reaches Upgrade 7. He inherits the activated unit’s stats and damage type while retaining traits from both units.

His main limitation is the expensive upgrade cost. Although his damage potential is high, you need to invest plenty of resources to unlock his full performance.

InHuman (Nullifier) – Secret

InHuman (Nullifier) provides a unique ability that can temporarily disable enemy passives. This includes effects related to Fire, Ice, Armor, Shields, and Flying. Such an ability can be useful when facing enemies that rely on special defensive or offensive mechanics.

His damage also improves during later upgrades, with full AoE attacks becoming available at Upgrade 6. However, his nullification ability has a 90-second cooldown, meaning you cannot rely on it throughout every wave.

Switchblade (Deception) – Secret

Switchblade (Deception) is mainly a support unit thanks to his Dismembered effect. This debuff causes affected enemies to take 20% more damage, and the increased damage remains permanent. It can provide a valuable advantage when your team needs to eliminate enemies with large health pools.

Although Switchblade can deal damage, his DPS is relatively low. You should prioritize him for his support effect rather than expecting him to function as your main damage dealer.

Sword Queen (Knight) – Mythical

Sword Queen (Knight) becomes more effective during the later stages of a battle. Her attacks expand into a circular AoE at higher upgrades, allowing her to damage multiple enemies more consistently. Her final upgrade also introduces Excalibur, which increases her damage against groups.

She is a useful option for Raids and Infinite Mode because her performance improves as you invest in upgrades. However, her DPS is not as high as the strongest damage dealers, so she is better suited for a secondary DPS role.

Legendary Assassin (Prime) – Mythical

Legendary Assassin (Prime) has a passive that increases his damage with every attack. The bonus can eventually reach a permanent 200% damage increase, making him significantly stronger as a battle continues. His range also improves through upgrades, allowing him to attack enemies from farther away.

He can also apply a slow effect to enemies, giving him some crowd control utility. The main issue is that his passive needs time and repeated attacks to reach its maximum potential, making him less effective in shorter battles.

Griffin (Reincarnation) – Mythical

Griffin (Reincarnation) is a dedicated support unit that increases the damage of every allied unit by 100%. This makes him valuable for teams that rely on strong damage dealers, especially during difficult stages where every damage boost matters.

His buff can stack with other support characters, including Commander, Wind Dragon, Blossom, and Idol (Star). However, Griffin (Reincarnation) cannot attack enemies directly, so his entire purpose is to improve the damage output of your team.

Elfy (Sylph) – Mythical

Elfy (Sylph) increases the Magic damage of allied units within her range by 50%. This makes her a useful support character for teams built around Magic damage dealers. Her ability can provide an even stronger buff when another Elfy is placed within range.

With two Elfy units working together, the Magic damage bonus can reach 100% for 30 seconds. The main limitation is that you need another Elfy nearby to access the strongest version of her buff.

Commander – Legendary

Commander is a Physical damage support unit that increases the damage of nearby allies by 25%. His ability lasts for 30 seconds, helping Physical damage teams defeat enemies more quickly. You can also stack his effect with another Commander to reach a 50% Physical damage increase.

However, his buff does not improve Magic damage. This makes him less useful if your team mainly relies on Magic-based characters.

Wind Dragon – Legendary

Wind Dragon provides a 50% Magic damage increase to nearby allied units when her ability is activated. The effect lasts for 30 seconds, making her a useful support option for teams that depend on Magic damage.

Her buff can also stack with another Wind Dragon, potentially increasing the Magic damage bonus to 100%. However, you need to pay attention to unit placement and team composition to make the most of this effect.

Which Units Are B Tier in Anime Adventures?

B Tier units are more situational than the characters above them. They can still provide useful abilities, especially when your team needs a specific debuff, damage type, or support effect. However, their damage output or team requirements can make them less reliable as general-purpose picks.

Operator (ROOM) – Mythical

Operator (ROOM) is a support-focused unit that can slow down enemy waves by teleporting enemies backward by half of his range. His ability can also affect bosses, giving your team more time to attack before enemies reach the end of the path.

While this can be useful for controlling enemy movement, Operator does not directly increase the damage of allied units. His value mainly comes from delaying enemies rather than improving your team’s offensive power.

Violentine (Brutal Angel) – Mythical

Violentine (Brutal Angel) has an unusual ability that allows her to summon the last enemy she damages at 25% of its original HP after every five attacks. This gives her an additional way to support your team during battles.

She also has AoE attacks, allowing her to damage multiple enemies at once. However, her maximum upgrade cost is relatively expensive, making her a more situational option when compared with other units that offer stronger overall value.

Umbra (Nuclear) – Secret

Umbra (Nuclear) has high DPS and full AoE attacks, making him capable of clearing large enemy waves. His long range also allows him to cover a wide section of the battlefield, which can be useful in stages with several enemies approaching at once.

The main problem is that his damage can only be boosted by Sakuro and Griffin (Reincarnation). This limits your team-building options because you cannot take full advantage of several other support units.

Berserker (Rage) – Mythical

Berserker (Rage) deals strong damage and applies Bleed over four ticks. This makes him useful against enemies with high HP, especially during the later waves of Infinite Mode. His attacks also become full AoE at higher upgrades, allowing him to hit several targets at once.

Starting from Upgrade 8, his attacks can target flying enemies as well. However, his maximum upgrade cost is high, and he needs a dedicated Bleed amplification unit to reach his best damage potential.

Reliable Student (Echoes) – Mythical

Reliable Student (Echoes) focuses on slowing enemies rather than dealing high damage. His attacks apply a slow effect that becomes stronger at Upgrade 5, reaching up to 80%. At that upgrade, Koichy can also slow flying enemies, making him useful against different enemy types.

His main weakness is his average DPS. He is better suited for a support role because his crowd control is more valuable than his direct damage.

Zombie (Risen) – Mythical

Zombie (Risen) increases the damage of all summons on the map by 25% per Zombie. This bonus can stack multiplicatively with support effects from Commander, Wind Dragon, and Griffin (Reincarnation), allowing summon-based teams to reach much higher damage numbers.

However, Zombie is not equally useful in every team. Her main benefit depends on having summon-based units that can take advantage of the damage increase, making her a specialized support pick.

Ashborn (Decay) – Mythical

Ashborn (Decay) builds up Decay damage against enemies that remain within his attack range. This makes him more effective against targets that take longer to defeat, as his damage can continue accumulating during the fight.

His True Damage passive also allows him to bypass shields, meaning protected enemies cannot completely prevent his damage from building up. However, his limited range requires careful placement to make sure enemies stay within his attack area.

Blood (Unleashed) – Mythical

Blood (Unleashed) improves the damage enemies receive from Bleed effects. This makes her particularly useful when paired with Bleed-focused units such as Berserker (Rage). Her own damage also increases through upgrades, allowing her to contribute additional attacks during battles.

The main drawback is that she depends heavily on having other Bleed units in the team. Without characters that can consistently apply Bleed, much of her support value is lost.

Hex (Witch of Betrayal) – Mythical

Hex (Witch of Betrayal) has a good attack range, allowing her to reach multiple enemies across the battlefield. Her attacks also hit three times, which helps her maintain damage against enemies with shields.

Despite these advantages, her average DPS is lower than that of dedicated damage dealers. She works better as a secondary DPS unit rather than the main source of damage for your team.

Infinity Mage (Endless) – Secret

Infinity Mage (Endless) is a Magic support unit that can apply Hex to enemies. Affected targets take 30% more Magic damage permanently, making her useful for teams that rely on Magic-based attacks.

Her attacks also become AoE at higher upgrades, reaching a radius of 12. However, the chance of applying Hex remains relatively low, even after upgrades. This makes her support effect less consistent than some other options.

Calm Killer (Meets the End) – Mythical

Calm Killer (Meets the End) has an active ability that knocks enemies backward, helping disrupt incoming waves. His damage also improves through upgrades, while his multi-hit attacks at higher levels allow him to deal more consistent damage.

The main limitation is the cooldown on his active ability. Since he cannot repeatedly use the knockback effect, his crowd control is not always available when your team needs it.

Izo (Samurai) – Mythical

Izo (Samurai) focuses on Burn damage and can deal strong DPS against groups of enemies. His wide cone-shaped AoE and good range allow him to spread Burn effects across several targets, making him useful for clearing waves.

However, his damage is not as high as other Burn-focused units in the current meta. He can still contribute to a team, but there are stronger options if you are looking for maximum Burn damage.

Which Units Are C Tier in Anime Adventures?

C Tier units have abilities that can still provide some value, but their overall performance is limited by low damage, small attack areas, or long cooldowns. Some are useful for specific situations, but they are generally less reliable than higher-ranked alternatives.

Trickster (Release) – Secret

Trickster (Release) provides Range and SPA buffs, which can improve the performance of allied units. These effects give him some support value, especially when your team needs additional attack range or faster attack speed.

Unfortunately, his active ability has a long cooldown, limiting how often he can provide its benefits. His base damage is also relatively low, meaning he needs upgrades and additional buffs to remain effective.

Spearer (Child of Light) – Mythical

Spearer (Child of Light) has a 50% base critical chance, giving him a good opportunity to deal increased damage with his attacks. This makes him a reasonable damage option when you can invest in his upgrades.

His biggest weakness is his limited AoE radius. He struggles to hit large groups of enemies compared to units with wider attacks, and he needs higher damage through upgrades to become more useful.

Ice Lily – Mythical

Ice Lily provides crowd control by slowing enemies for three seconds. This can delay incoming waves and give your other units more time to attack before enemies move further along the path.

However, her DPS is too low to compete with stronger damage dealers. She is also currently unobtainable, which means players cannot acquire her through the usual methods at the moment.

Paradox (Divine Sight) – Mythical

Paradox (Divine Sight) has a unique time-stop ability that freezes enemies for eight seconds. This creates a short window for your team to deal damage without worrying about enemy movement, making the ability useful in certain situations.

The problem is his relatively low base DPS. His time-stop ability also has a global cooldown of 60 seconds, so you cannot use it frequently throughout a battle.

Mangaka (Artist) – Secret

Mangaka (Artist) has access to a special Wild Card ability at Upgrade 6. This ability can randomly apply several effects, including Fire, Slow, Bleed, Freeze, and Knockback. Having access to different status effects gives him some flexibility during battles.

However, his AoE radius is relatively small, limiting how many enemies he can hit at once. Wild Card also shares a cooldown with Time Stop, which reduces the overall usefulness of his abilities.

This Anime Adventures tier list ranks units based on their damage, abilities, range, support effects, and overall usefulness in Infinite Mode and Story Mode. S Tier characters are generally the strongest choices, but A and B Tier units can still be valuable when their abilities match your team’s needs.

Remember that the best team is not always made up of the highest-ranked damage dealers. Support characters such as Chuuni (Delusion), Griffin (Reincarnation), Commander, and Wind Dragon can greatly improve your team’s performance when used with the right units.
