Arsenal Crawl: New Endless Train Dungeon Mode

The biggest addition in Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0 is Arsenal Crawl, a new endless train-based game mode where players must fight through multiple rooms while switching between different classes.

Unlike regular dungeons, Arsenal Crawl allows you to borrow classes and use their complete movesets with maximum mastery. This creates more opportunities to experiment with different builds without needing to own every class. However, there are some requirements before you can enter this mode:

  • Minimum Level: 100.
  • Party Size: 1-4 players.
  • Difficulty: Easy to Nightmare.
  • Starting Class: Choose your preferred class type before starting.
  • Goal: Select the objective for your run.

How Arsenal Crawl Works

Each Arsenal Crawl run takes place across different sections of the train. Every section contains four combat rooms followed by one boss encounter.

During combat, you can switch between borrowed classes and use their abilities to deal with different enemies. After clearing each room, you can also choose cards that provide additional bonuses and improve your build for the rest of the run.

The boss encounters currently feature three characters:

  • Kurumi
  • Denji
  • Megumin

After defeating a boss, you will reach a safe carriage. This area gives you an important choice: continue the run or extract your rewards.

You can also save your progress and leave the run before continuing another time. Rewards are saved after every successfully cleared room, so you won’t lose all your progress if you decide to stop after completing a section.

However, be careful when playing with other people. If your entire party gets defeated, the run ends.

What Happens If You Disconnect?

Dungeon Lootr also includes a reconnect feature for Arsenal Crawl. If you accidentally disconnect while playing, you have five minutes to rejoin your ongoing run.

This gives players some extra protection against connection problems, especially during longer runs.

Arsenal Crawl Rewards

There are several rewards you can earn by progressing through the train. These include:

  • Player XP.
  • Stars.
  • Upgrade materials.
  • Special titles for reaching deeper rooms.
  • Denji unlock progress.
  • Kurumi unlock progress.

The deeper you travel, the more opportunities you have to earn progression rewards and unlock additional content.

Three New Exotic Classes in Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0

Update 5.0 introduces three new Exotic Classes: Kurumi, Denji, and Megumin. Each character comes with a unique combat system, giving players different ways to approach battles.

The developers have also introduced a special launch bonus. All three new classes deal 15% additional damage during their first week after release.

This bonus will also apply to future classes, meaning every newly released class will receive the same 15% damage increase during its first week.

1. Kurumi – Time Goddess

Kurumi is a new Exotic Class based on time manipulation. Her combat system revolves around building Time Essence, allowing her to use special attacks and summon additional support during battles.

Her abilities include firing time bullets at enemies and summoning two clones to assist the party. These clones provide additional support, making Kurumi an interesting option for players who enjoy abilities that combine direct attacks with extra combat assistance.

How to Get Kurumi

There are two ways to unlock Kurumi in Dungeon Lootr:

  • Complete the Kurumi class goal in Arsenal Crawl.
  • Obtain her through the Chrono-Pair drop.

If you want to collect this class without relying entirely on random drops, progressing through Arsenal Crawl is another option.

2. Denji – Chainsaw Hybrid

Denji joins Dungeon Lootr as another Exotic Class, bringing his Chainsaw Hybrid abilities into the game. His combat mechanics revolve around collecting Blood Revs, which can be used to support his attacks and healing.

One of his most interesting features is Hero of Hell. When Denji receives fatal damage, this ability activates and transforms him into a four-armed form with a completely separate moveset.

This transformation gives Denji another opportunity to fight, making him an interesting choice for players who prefer aggressive combat and survivability.

How to Get Denji

You can unlock Denji through two different methods:

  • Complete the Denji class goal in Arsenal Crawl.
  • Obtain him from the Chainsaw Dog drop.

Both methods provide a way to add this new Exotic Class to your collection.

3. Megumin – Explosion Mage

Megumin is the third Exotic Class introduced in Update 5.0. Unlike Kurumi and Denji, her gameplay focuses on building Mana before unleashing one powerful Explosion attack.

After using her main ability, you need to recover before fighting again. This makes her different from classes that can continuously attack enemies with multiple abilities.

Her gameplay is centered around timing and making sure your Explosion deals as much damage as possible. Players who enjoy high-damage attacks may find her particularly interesting.

How to Get Megumin

Unlike the other two Exotic Classes, Megumin is obtained through the Class Summon system.

You can find her on the Megumin Banner and use either Normal Spins or Gold to summon her.

If you don’t manage to obtain her through regular pulls, there is also a guaranteed reward system. Megumin is guaranteed when you reach pull 68.

Daily Buffs in Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0

Another major addition is the new Daily Buff system. Instead of having the same bonuses every day, Dungeon Lootr now rotates different buffs throughout the week.

These bonuses can help players collect Gold, obtain rare drops, and gain more EXP.

Here is the complete weekly schedule:

Monday-Tuesday: Gold Rush

  • 1.5x Gold.

Gold Rush increases the amount of Gold you earn, making these two days a good opportunity to collect currency for class summons and other purchases.

Wednesday-Thursday: Lucky Midweek

  • 1.5x Rare Drops.

Lucky Midweek improves your chances of obtaining rare drops. If you are farming specific equipment or materials, this is a good time to focus on dungeon runs.

Friday-Sunday: Weekend Event

  • 2x EXP.
  • 2x Drops.

The Weekend Event provides the biggest combination of progression bonuses, increasing both EXP and drop rewards.

There is also an important schedule change. The Weekend Event now starts on Friday at 00:00 PT and ends on Monday at 00:00 PT.

To make these bonuses easier to track, the developers have added a new HUD indicator that displays the currently active buff.

Progression Changes and New Free Quests

Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0 also makes character progression easier, especially for players between Levels 200 and 325.

The developers have increased the amount of EXP earned from several activities, including:

  • Boss Rush.
  • Undead Conquest.
  • Hollow runs.

These changes should make it faster to level up and unlock additional content without spending as much time grinding.

Two New Free Quests

Players can now access two additional quests that were previously associated with paid content.

The new free quests include:

  • Hellfiend Quest: Rewards the Devil’s Charm.
  • Aizen Quest: Rewards the Perfect Hogyoku Orb.

Both quests provide the same power as their paid versions, giving free-to-play players another way to obtain useful progression items.

Other Progression Improvements

Several smaller changes have also been introduced to make progression easier to understand.

  • Quest tracking now displays the required location, difficulty, key cost, and the player responsible for paying the cost.
  • Hollow stages now save EXP and materials after each completed stage.
  • Level Up cards display your next unlock, helping you understand what you will receive as you progress.
  • New bundles are available for one, two, or all three of the new Exotic Classes, along with additional materials.

These improvements should make it easier to track your objectives and understand what you need to do next.

Complete UI Overhaul in Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0

One of the most noticeable changes in Update 5.0 is the redesigned user interface. The developers have updated almost every major menu, making the game easier to navigate across different platforms.

The redesigned menus include:

  • Shop.
  • Inventory.
  • Classes.
  • Profile.
  • Battlepass.
  • Quests.
  • Titles.
  • Forge.
  • Guilds.
  • Conquest.
  • Settings.

The lobby and dungeon HUD have also received improvements. There is now a new Play button that brings all available game modes together in one location.

Mobile and Controller Improvements

Mobile players will also notice changes to the HUD and combat buttons. The interface can automatically adjust its layout when you change your input method.

The developers have also improved UI scaling across PC, mobile, tablets, and consoles. This should make menus and gameplay elements easier to use regardless of your device.

Other interface improvements include:

  • New NPC dialogue boxes.
  • Updated interaction prompts.
  • Progress bars for hold interactions.
  • A guide path that points toward your next objective.
  • All 40 Conquest Pass tiers displayed in one scrollable menu.

Overall, these changes make it easier to access important features without navigating through multiple menus.

Quality of Life Improvements

Besides the major content additions, Update 5.0 includes several quality-of-life improvements that address common gameplay problems.

Here are some of the most important changes:

  • Faster Loading: The game has improved loading times and removed the previous black screen issue.
  • Reworked Tutorial: The tutorial now features a pointer hand, spotlight effects, and a shorter dungeon consisting of only two rooms.
  • Improved Auto-Salvage: Locked items, unidentified items, and quest items are now protected from automatic salvaging.
  • Salvage Preview: You can preview what you will receive before salvaging items.
  • Retry Without Hardcore: A new button allows players to retry without selecting Hardcore mode.
  • Better Boost Information: Boost tooltips now display potion and blessing names alongside your total EXP multiplier.
  • Improved Visual Effects: Reduced VFX settings no longer hide enemy attacks or Megumin’s Explosion.

These changes are particularly useful for players who regularly complete dungeons and manage large inventories.

Bug Fixes in Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0

The developers have also fixed several gameplay bugs that could interrupt combat or prevent certain features from working correctly.

Here are the main fixes included in this update:

  • Dashing or attacking during a skill cast no longer cancels stationary skills.
  • Fixed the issue that caused players to become frozen after using a skill during teleportation.
  • Fixed the camera remaining stuck in shift-lock mode after being stunned.
  • Fixed the Infinite Tower NEXT button not responding.
  • Conquest boss attacks such as Moonfall, Ghoul Spikes, Fallen Down, and Death Pulse now deal damage correctly.
  • Block Party Invites now work as intended.
  • Dark Professor can no longer move or attack during the shield phase.
  • Undead Lord warning effects no longer stack on the ground.
  • Several other smaller bugs have also been addressed.

These fixes should make combat more consistent and reduce problems during longer dungeon sessions.

Dungeon Lootr Update 5.0 is a major update that introduces plenty of new content for both returning and new players. Arsenal Crawl is the biggest addition, offering an endless train-based dungeon where players can borrow classes, fight bosses, and collect rewards across multiple rooms.

The three new Exotic Classes, Kurumi, Denji, and Megumin, also provide different combat mechanics to explore. Meanwhile, daily buffs, free quests, faster progression, and the redesigned UI make the overall experience more convenient.

Don’t forget to redeem the UPDATE5, ARSENALCRAWL, and THANKSFORWAITING codes to claim the available free rewards. With the game now unlocked worldwide, this is also a good opportunity for new players to start exploring Dungeon Lootr.
