Choosing a Squad in Bleach Mirrors High is one of the decisions players will encounter as they progress through the game. With 13 Court Guard Squads available, deciding which one suits your personality or preferred fighting style can be a little confusing, especially if you are not familiar with their differences.
Fortunately, there is an official 13 Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test that can help you find a suitable Squad. The test asks several questions about your personality, combat preferences, and how you handle different situations as a Soul Reaper. However, you are not required to follow its recommendation, meaning you can still choose whichever Squad you prefer.
How to Choose a Squad in Bleach Mirrors High
If you are having trouble deciding which Squad to join, taking the official 13 Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test is a good place to start. This test was created to recommend a Squad based on your answers, giving you an idea of where you might fit within the Soul Society.
To access the test, you will need a Bandai Namco account. If you have already started playing Bleach Mirrors High, you may already have an account that you can use to log in.
The test is also associated with Shuhei Hisagi, who introduces the 13 Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test.
How to Take the 13 Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test
Taking the Squad Aptitude Test is relatively simple. You only need to access the official test page and answer the questions provided.
Follow these steps:
- Open Shuhei Hisagi’s 13 Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test.
- Log in using your Bandai Namco ID.
- Start the personality test.
- Answer all the questions based on your preferences.
- Complete the test to receive your recommended Squad.

You can also take the test again if you are unhappy with the result. There is no need to worry about getting the wrong Squad because the recommendation does not lock you into that choice.

Once you have answered all seven questions, submit your responses to see which Squad the test recommends.
Do You Have to Join the Squad From the Test Result?
No, you do not have to join the Squad recommended by the Aptitude Test. The result is simply a suggestion based on your answers, so you are free to choose another Squad if you have a different preference.
This is especially useful if you already have a favorite Squad or want to join one because of its Captain or members. You can even retake the test if you want to see whether different answers produce another recommendation.
Additionally, as you progress through the Bleach Mirrors High story, you will eventually get the opportunity to choose the exact Squad you want to join. This means the Aptitude Test is not a permanent decision that determines your entire experience.
What Squad Did I Get From the Aptitude Test?
For those curious about the result, the test recommended Squad 8 for me, which is led by Acting Captain Lisa Yadomaru.
Your result may be completely different depending on how you answer the questions. Since the test focuses on your preferences and personality, there is no single correct answer or universally best Squad to receive.
Bleach Mirrors High Squad Aptitude Test Rewards
The 13 Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test also featured a special pre-release promotion. Players who completed the test before October 31, 2026, were eligible to receive 500 Mirror Gems. Unfortunately, this promotion has already ended. If you did not complete the Aptitude Test before the deadline, you missed the opportunity to claim these particular pre-release rewards.
However, you can still take the test to discover which Squad matches your answers. The main purpose of the test is to help players decide where they want to belong in the Soul Society.
Choosing a Squad in Bleach Mirrors High does not have to be a difficult decision. If you are unsure which of the 13 Court Guard Squads suits you, the official Aptitude Test can provide a recommendation based on your answers.
Just remember that the result is not mandatory. You can choose your favorite Squad later as you progress through the story, so there is no need to worry too much about your test result.
