To create this weapon, you need to collect four different ingredients and bring them to Broomhilda NPC on Halloween Island. Some materials are obtained by defeating bosses, while others require additional crafting materials. Here is how to find every ingredient needed for Dreadbroom.
All Materials Required to Craft Dreadbroom
Before searching for the ingredients, make sure you know everything required to craft this sword. You need a total of four materials, including Cursed Candy, Corrupted String, Rotten Handle, and Withered Straw.
Here is the complete ingredient list:
-
750x Cursed Candy
-
1x Corrupted String
-
1x Rotten Handle
-
1x Withered Straw
Once you have collected all four ingredients, travel to Halloween Island and talk to Broomhilda NPC to craft Dreadbroom.
How to Get Cursed Candy in King Legacy
Cursed Candy is the main material you need to farm because Dreadbroom requires 750 of them. You can obtain this currency by defeating Halloween bosses during the event.
The easiest way to track the upcoming Halloween Boss is by using the Legacy Pose. This item helps reveal the next boss location on the island, allowing you to prepare before it spawns.
You can also collect Cursed Candy by defeating Skull King in the Second Sea. Since you need quite a large amount, keep farming these bosses until you reach the required 750 Cursed Candy.
How to Get Corrupted String in King Legacy
Corrupted String is one of the harder ingredients to obtain because it has only a 1.8% drop chance from Skull King. This means you might need to defeat the boss several times before receiving the material.
To summon Skull King, you must travel to the Halloween Event Island in the Second Sea and interact with the Forsaken Grave NPC. You also need 200 Candies to summon the boss.
Follow these steps to obtain Corrupted String:
-
Travel to the Second Sea.
-
Find the Halloween Event Island.
-
Locate and interact with the Forsaken Grave NPC.
-
Pay 200 Candies to summon Skull King.
-
Defeat Skull King and check whether Corrupted String drops.
Repeat the process until you get the required material. Make sure to bring a strong build so you can defeat Skull King quickly and reduce your farming time.
How to Get Rotten Handle in King Legacy
Rotten Handle is another ingredient required for Dreadbroom, but you do not need to defeat a boss to obtain it. Instead, this material can be crafted directly through Broomhilda NPC on Halloween Island.
However, you must collect four different materials before you can craft Rotten Handle. Here is everything you need:
-
300x Candies
-
10x Twilight’s Orb
-
100x Undead’s Ooze
-
250x Logs
After collecting all the required materials, return to Halloween Island and talk to Broomhilda. You can then exchange those ingredients to create Rotten Handle.
Remember that this is only one part of the Dreadbroom crafting process, so you still need Cursed Candy, Corrupted String, and Withered Straw.
How to Get Withered Straw in King Legacy
Withered Straw is the final ingredient needed to craft Dreadbroom. Unlike Rotten Handle, this material cannot be crafted through Broomhilda and must be obtained from a boss drop.
To get Withered Straw, travel to the Third Sea and find Jack-O’-Lantern. Defeat this boss to receive a chance of obtaining the required material.
If Withered Straw does not drop after your first attempt, continue fighting Jack-O’-Lantern until you get it. Make sure your character has enough damage and survivability to handle the boss without spending too much time on each fight.
How to Craft Dreadbroom in King Legacy
Once you have collected all four ingredients, the final step is fairly simple. Travel to Halloween Island and find Broomhilda NPC, who handles the Dreadbroom crafting process.
Make sure your inventory contains the following:
-
750x Cursed Candy
-
1x Corrupted String
-
1x Rotten Handle
-
1x Withered Straw
Talk to Broomhilda and use the required materials to craft Dreadbroom. If you are missing even one ingredient, you will need to continue farming before completing the process.
Getting Dreadbroom in King Legacy Update 11 requires quite a bit of farming, especially because Corrupted String has a low 1.8% drop chance. You also need 750 Cursed Candy, a crafted Rotten Handle, and Withered Straw from Jack-O’-Lantern.
It is best to collect the easier materials first while working on the rare boss drops. Once everything is ready, visit Broomhilda on Halloween Island to craft your Dreadbroom and add another Update 11 weapon to your collection.
