King Legacy offers several fighting styles that players can upgrade to V3 for better combat abilities. These include Cyborg, Dark Leg, Electro, and Dragon Claw. However, getting their V3 versions is not as simple as purchasing an upgrade, as each fighting style has its own NPC and a series of quests to complete.
Before starting, you must already have the V1 and V2 versions of the fighting style you want to upgrade. You cannot skip these stages and go straight to V3. Each upgrade also requires money, Gems, and different materials, so preparing everything beforehand can save you a lot of time. Here is how to unlock every V3 Fighting Style in King Legacy.
How to Get Cyborg V3 in King Legacy
To upgrade Cyborg to V3, you need to find the Cyber Architect at Drakenhold Fortress in the Third Sea. This NPC will give you several quests that require materials, boss kills, and damage milestones. You will also need a large amount of money, Gems, Iron Ingots, and other rare items.
Here is the complete Cyborg V3 quest progression:
1. First Requirement
- Prepare $2.5M, 25 Gems, and 500 Iron Ingots.
- Talk to the Cyber Architect at Drakenhold Fortress in the Third Sea.
You can collect the required items by defeating enemies and bosses. Gems can be obtained from the Hydra Raid Boss, while Iron Ingots can drop from Sally and Prince Aria in Fiore, as well as the Sunken Vessel at Loaf Island.
2. Unlock M1
- Hit enemies 1,000 times using Cyborg M1 attacks.
- Prepare $4M, 50 Gems, 750 Iron Ingots, and 2 Obsidian.
You can complete the M1 requirement while fighting enemies during your normal farming sessions. For Obsidian, finish all five floors of the Second Sea Dungeon Run.
3. Unlock Z
- Defeat 3 Sea Kings.
- Deal at least 50,000 damage to each Sea King using Cyborg.
- Prepare $5M, 75 Gems, 750 Iron Ingots, and 3 Obsidian.
Sea Kings can be found in the Second Sea. Use a Legacy Pose to help track their locations or wait for a spawn announcement. Make sure you use Cyborg to deal the required damage.
4. Unlock X
- Deal 1,000,000 total damage using Cyborg.
- Prepare $6M, 100 Gems, 1,000 Iron Ingots, and 5 Lost Ruby.
You can complete this challenge by continuously fighting enemies and bosses with Cyborg equipped. Lost Ruby can be farmed by defeating Anubis and Pharaoh on Tundra Island in the Second Sea.
5. Unlock C
- Defeat 10 different players using Cyborg.
- Each kill must reward Bounty.
- Prepare $8M, 100 Gems, 5 Sea King’s Fins, and 5 Lost Ruby.
The easiest way to finish this quest is to play with friends who have Bounty available. You can also fight other players on public servers, but make sure every elimination counts toward your Bounty.
6. Unlock V
- Have Cyborg equipped when the Abyssal Tyrant is defeated twice.
- Prepare $12M, 150 Gems, 5 Obsidian, 5 Lost Ruby, and 1 Hydra’s Tail.
The Abyssal Tyrant is a Third Sea event boss. Visit Unearthly and enter the castle, then check the Chalice to see which boss is scheduled to appear. If it is the Abyssal Tyrant, prepare for the event and keep Cyborg equipped when the boss dies.
You can obtain Hydra’s Tail by defeating the Hydra and opening its Hydra Chest. The item has a 2.5% drop chance.
How to Get Dark Leg V3 in King Legacy
Dark Leg V3 can be unlocked by talking to Azure Kicker at the Land of Detention in the Third Sea. Unlike Cyborg, its quests focus on defeating specific bosses and collecting Shark Fins and Samurai Bandages.
Make sure you have Dark Leg V2 before starting the upgrade process.
1. First Requirement
- Prepare $3M, 25 Gems, and 50 Shark Fins.
- Talk to Azure Kicker at the Land of Detention in the Third Sea.
You can earn money by defeating enemies and collect Gems from the Hydra Raid Boss. Shark Fins are dropped by Fisherman enemies in the Third Sea.
2. Unlock M1
- Defeat Depth King while Dark Leg is equipped.
- You must have at least 50% HP remaining when the boss dies.
- Prepare $5M, 50 Gems, 50 Shark Fins, and 3 Samurai Bandages.
Use a Legacy Pose to track Depth King’s spawn location and timer. Since this boss can be difficult, bringing friends along can make the fight easier. Remember to keep your HP above 50% when the boss is defeated.
For Samurai Bandages, farm Violet Samurai on Hibernus Island in the Third Sea or Kitsune Samurai in Floresco Town in the Second Sea.
3. Unlock Z
- Defeat Deepsea Crusher twice using only Dark Leg.
- Prepare $6M, 75 Gems, 75 Shark Fins, and 7 Samurai Bandages.
Deepsea Crusher is a Third Sea event boss. Visit Unearthly, enter the castle, and check the Chalice to see if Deepsea Crusher is the next boss. Once the spawn is announced, travel to the Vast Sea and defeat it using Dark Leg.
After completing this stage and paying the required materials, you will progress through the available Dark Leg V3 quests.
How to Get Electro V3 in King Legacy
Electro V3 is unlocked through Volt Master at the Forgotten Coliseum in the Third Sea. Its upgrade quests require you to hit enemies, defeat players with a specific Devil Fruit, survive lightning strikes, and fight powerful event bosses.

- Defeat 5 different players who have the Rumble Fruit equipped.
- Prepare $12.5M, 125 Gems, 15 Void Cores, and 3 Sea King’s Fins.

Sea King’s Fins can be collected by defeating Sea Kings when they spawn in the Second Sea.
5. Unlock C
- Get struck by lightning 10 times on Legacy Island in the Third Sea.
- Prepare $15M, 150 Gems, 4 Sea King’s Fins, and 1 Hydra’s Tail.
Travel to Legacy Island and stay there until lightning hits your character 10 times. You do not need to defeat another boss for this particular challenge.
For Hydra’s Tail, defeat the Hydra and open its Hydra Chest. The item has a 4% drop chance.
6. Unlock V

- Deal at least 500,000 damage using Electro during each fight.

Make sure you reach the required damage amount in both battles.
How to Get Dragon Claw V3 in King Legacy
Dragon Claw V3 is another fighting style that requires several boss battles and material collections. To start its upgrade quests, find the Draconic Elder on Crownfall Isle in the Third Sea.
You must already own Dragon Claw V2 before speaking to this NPC. The quests will gradually unlock its M1, Z, X, C, and V abilities.
1. First Requirement
- Prepare $3M, 50 Gems, and 15 Dragon Scales.
- Talk to the Draconic Elder on Crownfall Isle in the Third Sea.
You can collect money by defeating enemies and obtain Gems from the Hydra Raid Boss. Dragon Scales can be farmed by defeating Drakenfyr or Abyssal Tyrant in the Third Sea.

- Prepare $5M, 75 Gems, 25 Dragon Scales, and 2 Sea King’s Fins.

3. Unlock Z
- Defeat Drakenfyr the Inferno King twice.
- Deal at least 500,000 damage using Dragon Claw during each fight.
- Prepare $6M, 100 Gems, 35 Dragon Scales, and 3 Sea King’s Fins.

For Essence of Fire, farm Pteranodon in the Third Sea. Hydra’s Tail can be obtained by defeating Hydra and opening its Hydra Chest.
5. Unlock C
- Deal 1,000,000 damage using Dragon Claw before the Aura disappears.
- Prepare $9M, 150 Gems, 15 Essence of Fire, and 1 Dragon Fang.
Equip Dragon Claw and attack enemies or bosses to reach the required damage. However, you must complete the damage requirement before the Aura disappears, so try to deal damage continuously instead of waiting between attacks.
6. Unlock V
- Destroy the stone pillars using Dragon Claw within 60 seconds.
After paying the previous material requirements, stone pillars will appear around the area. Equip Dragon Claw and destroy all the required pillars before the 60-second timer runs out.
Tips for Unlocking V3 Fighting Styles Faster
Getting every V3 fighting style requires a lot of grinding, especially because some quests involve rare materials and event bosses. Instead of completing everything randomly, it is better to prepare your materials and work on multiple requirements whenever possible.
Here are some tips that can make the process easier:
- Collect Gems early: The Hydra Raid Boss is an important source of Gems for several V3 upgrades.
- Save your money: Each fighting style requires millions of Cash, so avoid spending everything before starting the quests.
- Farm materials beforehand: Items such as Shark Fins, Iron Ingots, Dragon Scales, and Lost Rubies can take time to collect.
- Use Legacy Pose: This helps you track certain bosses and their spawn timers.
- Bring friends: Some boss fights and player elimination quests are much easier with other players.
- Check event bosses: Keep an eye on the Chalice at Unearthly to prepare for Abyssal Tyrant, Deepsea Crusher, and Drakenfyr.
Upgrading your fighting styles to V3 in King Legacy requires patience, money, rare materials, and several combat challenges. Cyborg, Dark Leg, Electro, and Dragon Claw each have different NPCs and quest requirements, so make sure you follow the correct progression for the fighting style you want.
It is also a good idea to collect the required materials before starting each upgrade. This will reduce unnecessary grinding and help you focus on completing the boss battles and ability challenges. Once you finish all the requirements, you can unlock the V3 version of your chosen fighting style.
