The Surfing event has arrived in Kick a Lucky Block, introducing a new minigame where players ride massive waves, collect Surf Points, and complete special challenges. During this event, you can perform surfing tricks, avoid dangerous obstacles, and upgrade your surfboard to improve your performance.
There are also exclusive rewards to collect, including two new Brainrots and various items from surfing quests. On top of that, players can participate in an hourly boss battle against the Tsunami King during the Mega Flood event. Here is everything you need to know about the Kick a Lucky Block Surfing event.
How to Play the Surfing Minigame in Kick a Lucky Block
The Surfing minigame becomes available during the Mega Flood event, which takes place once every hour and lasts for 10 minutes. When the event begins, players can ride the incoming waves and earn Surf Points by completing different activities.
Your main objective is to stay on the board while avoiding obstacles across the water. You can also jump through rings and perform tricks in the air to earn additional points. However, be careful when landing because hitting red obstacles or landing on your back will cause a wipeout and end your surfing run.
Successfully completing a surfing run without wiping out also unlocks the new Surf Trait for your Brainrot. This makes learning the controls important if you want to get the most out of the event.
Surfing Controls
Here are the controls you need to know before starting the minigame:
- W: Repeatedly press to increase your surfing speed.
- S: Hold to slow down.
- A / D: Steer your surfboard to the left or right.
- SPACE: Jump when reaching the top of a ramp.
- Air Tricks: Hold a direction while airborne to perform surfing tricks.
Try to maintain your balance when moving across the waves. Jumping through rings and performing tricks can increase your Surf Points, but landing incorrectly can cause you to lose your run.
All Surf Upgrades in Kick a Lucky Block
Surf Points are the main currency used to improve your surfing abilities. You can earn them by riding waves, jumping through rings, and performing tricks during the minigame.
Once you have enough points, visit the Surf Upgrades section in the middle of the spawn area. This area contains different upgrades that improve your speed, jumping ability, balance, tricks, and point collection.
If you are just starting, Point Boost I and Speed I are good upgrades to prioritize. Speed helps you move through the surfing course faster, while Point Boost increases your ability to earn more points.

Kick a Lucky Block Surfing Event Quests
The Surfing event also introduces special quests that require players to collect different items while riding the waves. These items can appear around the surfing area, so keep an eye out for glowing objects such as Pearls, Seashells, and Starfish.
There are three quest difficulties: Easy, Hard, and Very Hard. Each one requires a different combination of items, with harder quests asking for rarer collectibles.
Here are all the Surfing event quests:
Easy Quest
The Easy quest requires you to collect:
- 2 Pearls
This is the simplest challenge and a good starting point if you are new to the Surfing event.
Hard Quest
The Hard quest requires three different collectibles:
- 1 Seashell
- 1 Message in a Bottle
- 1 Golden Shell
You will need to search carefully while surfing to find all three items.
Very Hard Quest
The Very Hard quest requires:
- 1 Starfish
- 2 Golden Shells
This is the most difficult collection challenge among the three quests because it requires multiple rare items.
After collecting the required items, exchange them to receive random rewards. These can include Brainrots, Potions, Cash, Kick Mastery, and other in-game items.
All Exclusive Brainrots From Surfing Quests
One of the main reasons to complete the Surfing quests is the chance to obtain two exclusive Brainrots. Both are available through the random rewards received when exchanging collected surf items.
The two new Brainrots are:
- Pellicano Bagnino: Available through Surfing event item rewards.
- Iguana Cavalcaonde: Also available through surf-item rewards, but it is ten times harder to obtain than Pellicano Bagnino.
Iguana Cavalcaonde is particularly difficult to get because its drop chance is significantly lower. You may need to complete several quests and exchange many collected items before obtaining it.
Besides these Brainrots, the quest reward pool can also provide useful items such as Potions, Cash, and Kick Mastery. This means you can still receive valuable rewards even when you do not get the exclusive Brainrots.
How to Fight the Tsunami King Boss in Kick a Lucky Block
The Tsunami King is the special boss featured during the Mega Flood event. This boss appears once every hour and remains available for 10 minutes.
When the boss spawns, all players on the server are transported to a safe area near the boss location. Everyone can work together to defeat it, although its HP increases as more players join the fight.
Defeating the Tsunami King rewards players with Surf Points, making the boss battle another way to collect currency for surfing upgrades.
How to Damage the Tsunami King
When you arrive at the boss arena, you will find six cannons positioned in front of you. Each cannon has a green pad that players can stand on to activate it.
To attack the Tsunami King, step onto a green pad and repeatedly click the M1 button to fire the cannon. Continue attacking while avoiding the boss’s incoming attacks.
Since multiple players can participate, working together makes it easier to deal damage. However, you still need to pay attention to your surroundings because the boss has several attacks that can quickly reduce your health.
Tsunami King Boss Attacks
The Tsunami King has three main mechanics that you need to understand during the fight.
1. Shield Generation
The boss has a shield with 54 HP. Each successful hit reduces the shield by one HP, so players need to keep firing the cannons until the shield is removed.
2. Wave Attack
The Tsunami King can launch smaller waves toward players when it becomes aggressive. Watch the incoming waves and move out of their path to avoid taking damage.
3. Lucky Blocks Attack
This is the boss’s main offensive move. The Tsunami King drops Lucky Blocks onto the arena, targeting different areas where players are standing.
Before the blocks land, red circles will appear on the ground to show their impact locations. Move away from these marked areas immediately to avoid getting hit.
How Many Lives Do You Have Against Tsunami King?
Players have three hearts during the Tsunami King battle, with each heart providing 100 HP. Taking repeated damage can quickly use up your available lives.
However, your HP will recover if you avoid taking damage for a while. This gives you an opportunity to survive longer as long as you pay attention to the boss’s attacks.
Try to stay away from the red warning circles and dodge incoming waves instead of focusing entirely on firing the cannons. Surviving the fight is just as important as dealing damage.
Best Way to Progress During the Surfing Event
If you want to collect the exclusive Brainrots and unlock all available upgrades, you should balance your time between surfing, completing quests, and fighting the Tsunami King.
Here are some useful tips to make your progression easier:
- Purchase Point Boost I Early: This upgrade is a good starting choice because it helps improve your Surf Point collection.
- Upgrade Your Speed: Better speed makes it easier to move through the surfing course and collect items.
- Look for Glowing Collectibles: Keep watching the water for Pearls, Shells, Starfish, and other quest items.
- Avoid Risky Landings: Hitting red obstacles or landing on your back causes a wipeout, so focus on maintaining balance.
- Join the Tsunami King Fight: The hourly boss battle provides another opportunity to earn Surf Points.
- Save Points for Important Upgrades: Higher-level upgrades can become expensive, so plan your purchases carefully.
Completing these activities regularly will help you improve your surfing performance while collecting rewards from the event.
The Surfing event in Kick a Lucky Block introduces a new minigame with Surf Points, upgrade systems, collectible quests, and exclusive Brainrots. Players can improve their surfing abilities through upgrades while searching for rare items such as Golden Shells and Starfish.
The Mega Flood event also brings the Tsunami King boss fight every hour, giving everyone on the server a chance to work together and earn additional Surf Points. If you want to collect Pellicano Bagnino and Iguana Cavalcaonde, make sure to complete the surfing quests and keep searching for the required items.
