Jujutsu Zero Update: New Shikigami Passives
The latest update introduces new passive abilities for different Shikigami. Each passive increases the damage of its associated Shikigami, making it useful for players who want to improve their combat performance. When the passive’s bar becomes full, Shikigami skills deal double damage for 10 seconds, and their cooldowns reset when the effect activates.
Most of these passives can be obtained from Shikigami Overworld Raids at the Altar. Rika Passive has a different acquisition method, requiring players to complete the Past Rika questline and obtain it through a 2% drop chance.
The new Shikigami passives include:
- Bunny Passive
- Kuro Passive
- Shiro Passive
- Nue Passive
- Totality Passive
- Mahoraga Passive
- Max Elephant Passive
- Rika Passive
Players looking to improve their Shikigami damage should consider farming the relevant raids for these passives. Since Rika Passive has a separate drop source, players will need to focus on the Past Rika questline instead of the Altar raids.
New Sorcery Heavenly Restriction Tree Nodes
The update adds new nodes to the Sorcery Heavenly Restriction tree, giving players additional ways to improve their characters. These upgrades focus on survivability, general stats, and bonuses connected to unlocked abilities. Players can access the new nodes through the Sorcery Heavenly Restriction Tree NPC.
Node 6: Cursed Energy Reinforcement
Cursed Energy Reinforcement adds a secondary health bar above the player’s existing health bar. The amount of reinforced health depends on how many Special Grade or higher techniques the player owns, allowing characters with more high-grade techniques to gain greater protection.
When the reinforcement bar is depleted, the effect enters cooldown and consumes Cursed Energy. This system provides another defensive layer during combat, although players will need to manage its cooldown and resource cost carefully. The node also grants general stat bonuses.
Node 7: Sorcery Inventory
Sorcery Inventory provides additional stat buffs based on the number of Domain Expansions a player has unlocked. This makes Domain Expansion progression more valuable beyond simply gaining access to these powerful abilities.
Players who have unlocked multiple Domain Expansions may benefit from this node’s bonuses. To obtain it, visit the Sorcery Heavenly Restriction Tree NPC and check the requirements for Node 7.
New Weapon Slot and Item Ascension 6
Weapon progression also receives several changes in this update. Players can unlock a new weapon slot through Node 8 of the PHR tree, allowing them to equip one additional weapon. This provides more flexibility when building a character and choosing equipment for different situations.
The update also introduces Item Ascension 6 for weapons of Disaster Grade and above. Reaching this ascension level requires Apex Cores, which can be obtained from Trial Towers. Players interested in upgrading their strongest weapons should prepare to farm these materials.
Other weapon-related changes include:
- The maximum weapon level has increased from 100 to 120.
- Reaching the new level cap requires the Disaster Rank Supply.
- Disaster Rank Supplies drop from Infinity Crates.
- The Ascension NPC now displays the total stats granted by each ascension grade.
- The upgrade menu has received improvements to weapon model displays.
These additions provide more progression goals for players who have already reached the previous weapon level cap.
Trial Towers Chamber 14: Naoya and New Rewards
Trial Towers receives a new Chamber 14 featuring Naoya as its featured opponent. Players can challenge this new chamber to continue progressing through the tower content and obtain the newly introduced Tower Badge 4.
The Trial Towers are also important for weapon progression because Apex Cores, required for Item Ascension 6, drop from this activity. Players who want to reach the new ascension level should include Trial Towers in their farming routine.
With the addition of another chamber and new rewards, the update gives experienced players more content to tackle while working toward stronger equipment.
Jujutsu Zero Trading Limit Changes
Trading limits have been adjusted to provide a progression-based system. Instead of relying only on a fixed limit, the number of trades available now scales with both player level and completed trades.
The updated system includes the following changes:
- The default trade limit is now 15.
- The trade limit increases as the player’s level rises, with increases every 1,000 or 1,500 levels, up to level 15,000.
- Players gain one additional trade limit for every 10 completed trades, up to 150 trades.
These changes give players more opportunities to trade as they progress through the game. The exact level interval depends on the system’s applicable progression rules, but both player levels and completed trades now contribute to the limit.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
Several existing features have been improved to make inventory management, crafting, upgrading, and navigation easier. These changes reduce some of the extra steps players previously needed to perform when managing their items.
The main quality-of-life improvements include:
- Accessory crafting now supports holding to add items.
- Stat tree descriptions are now scrollable, including descriptions for Mastery and Awakening.
- Damage indicators use shorter number formats, such as 1K instead of 1,000.
- Combo bar numbers also use the shorter number format.
- Item Ascension now supports adding five items at a time for Ascension 1 through Ascension 5.
- Accessory selling is now functional.
- Weapon models appear more correctly in the upgrade menu.
- Console controls have improved general panning speed.
- The map now supports zooming.
- A new setting allows players to disable other players’ Shikigami.
These adjustments should make common gameplay activities more convenient, especially for players who frequently craft accessories, upgrade weapons, or play with many other Shikigami on screen.
Custom Item Conversion Improvements
The shop’s item conversion system has also received an update. Players can now use Custom Convert to choose how many items they want to exchange rather than being limited to the previous conversion method.
The interface also displays the current quantity of each item owned, making it easier to check available materials before converting them.
Custom Convert applies to the following exchangers:
- Shadow Essence Exchanger
- Vow Exchanger
- Dust Exchanger
- Awakened XP Exchanger
This feature gives players more control over resource management. Instead of converting everything or estimating how many materials are available, players can enter a specific quantity and complete the exchange based on their needs.
New Jujutsu Zero Code
The update introduces a new redeem code that provides several free rewards. Players can use these items to support their progression, including obtaining more Clan Rolls.
The currently announced code is:
shikigami— 1,000 Cursed Crystals, 5,000 Lumens, and 50 Clan Rolls.
The previously listed FRAMES code has been removed. Players should prioritize redeeming the new code while it remains available, as codes may expire or stop working without notice.
The latest Jujutsu Zero update adds several progression systems, including Shikigami passives, new Sorcery Heavenly Restriction tree nodes, Weapon Ascension 6, and a higher weapon level cap. Trial Towers Chamber 14 also gives players another challenge through its battle against Naoya and the introduction of Tower Badge 4.
The quality-of-life changes improve crafting, item conversion, trading, and inventory management, while the new shikigami code provides free Cursed Crystals, Lumens, and Clan Rolls. Players who want to make the most of this update should focus on collecting the new passives, farming Trial Towers materials, and progressing toward the new weapon upgrades.
