Clover RPG gives players several ways to develop their characters, from spending Stat Points to improving Magic Mastery and unlocking Weapon Skills. However, you might eventually want to change your build or replace abilities that no longer fit your playstyle. Fortunately, the game provides different reset methods to help you start over without creating a new character.

Each reset requires a different method, item, or NPC, so knowing where to go can save you time. Here is how to reset Stats, Magic Mastery, and Weapon Proficiency in Clover RPG, including the requirements for each method.

How to Reset Stats in Clover RPG

Stats determine your character’s main attributes and affect how you perform in combat. If you have spent too many points on the wrong attributes or want to try a different build, resetting your stats allows you to recover your previously invested Stat Points and distribute them again. This is useful when changing your combat strategy or adjusting your character for different activities.

To reset your stats, you need to find the Lady of the Lake NPC in the Great Mushroom Forest, located in the Mushroom Region. Once you reach her, interact with the NPC and select the Gift of Renewal option. You will need to pay the required amount of Insights and/or Marks before the reset can be completed.

After your stats have been refunded, you can spend the recovered points on the attributes you prefer. Here is what each stat does in Clover RPG:

  • Agility: Improves movement and combat finesse.

  • Endurance: Increases your maximum Resolve.

  • Vitality: Raises your maximum health and overall durability.

  • Strength: Improves misdirect damage and the scaling of physical attacks.

  • Intelligence: Increases your maximum mana capacity.

  • Magic Power: Boosts magical strength and the damage dealt by magic attacks.

Before resetting, consider which attributes support your preferred combat style. Physical builds generally benefit from Strength, while magic-focused characters can prioritize Magic Power and Intelligence. You should also consider defensive stats if you want your character to survive longer during difficult fights.

How to Reset Magic Mastery in Clover RPG

Magic Mastery is another part of character progression that you may want to change as you experiment with different builds. If you have invested your points in the wrong areas, you can use a special item to refund your Magic Mastery investments instead of starting your character over.

The required item is called Magic Mastery Reset. You can obtain it by completing a Grimoire Evolution Trail, which has a 5% chance of dropping the item each time you clear the activity. Since the drop rate is relatively low, you may need to complete the trail several times before receiving it.

Follow these steps to reset your Magic Mastery:

  1. Find and complete a Grimoire Evolution Trail.

  2. Check whether the Magic Mastery Reset item drops after completing the trail.

  3. Repeat the activity if you do not receive the item.

  4. Open your inventory once you obtain the reset item.

  5. Use Magic Mastery Reset to refund your invested Magic Mastery points.

Keep in mind that the 5% drop chance means the item is not guaranteed after a specific number of attempts. You may obtain it early, or you might need to complete many trails before getting one.

How to Reset Weapon Proficiency in Clover RPG

Weapon Proficiency determines your progression with weapons and the Weapon Skills you obtain. If you are unhappy with your current Weapon Skills or want to try a different setup, you will need a Weapon Proficiency Reset item. Unlike the Magic Mastery reset, obtaining this item requires you to challenge a specific NPC.

First, travel to Whispering Hills, an area connected to Kamo Village, which is the game’s starting area. Look for the house at the top of the hill and enter it to find Percival. Speak with him and select the first dialogue option, which asks to spar with him.

Choosing this option will teleport you into the Blade Master’s Gauntlet, where you must fight Percival. Defeating him gives you a chance to obtain the Weapon Proficiency Reset item.

Here is the process in order:

  1. Travel from Kamo Village to Whispering Hills.

  2. Find the house at the top of the hill.

  3. Speak with Percival and select the option to spar with him.

  4. Enter the Blade Master’s Gauntlet.

  5. Defeat Percival and check whether the Weapon Proficiency Reset item drops.

  6. Use the item from your inventory after obtaining it.

As with Magic Mastery Reset, you should be prepared to repeat the encounter if the item does not drop. Once you have the reset item, using it from your inventory will allow you to reset your Weapon Proficiency and change your weapon progression.

Which Reset Should You Use in Clover RPG?

Clover RPG has three different reset options, and each one is designed for a specific part of your character’s progression. Choosing the correct one is important because resetting stats will not automatically reset your Magic Mastery or Weapon Proficiency.

Here is a quick summary of the requirements:

  • Stat Reset: Visit Lady of the Lake in the Great Mushroom Forest and purchase Gift of Renewal using the required Insights and/or Marks.

  • Magic Mastery Reset: Complete Grimoire Evolution Trails for a 5% chance to obtain the Magic Mastery Reset item.

  • Weapon Proficiency Reset: Challenge Percival in the Blade Master’s Gauntlet and defeat him for a chance to obtain the Weapon Proficiency Reset item.

If you only want to redistribute your character’s attributes, the Stat Reset is the option you need. However, if your goal is to change your Magic Mastery investments or replace your Weapon Skills, you will need the corresponding reset item.

Resetting your character in Clover RPG allows you to experiment with different builds without abandoning your existing progression. You can refund your Stat Points through Lady of the Lake, obtain Magic Mastery Reset from Grimoire Evolution Trails, or challenge Percival to get the Weapon Proficiency Reset item.

Before using any reset, make sure you know which part of your character you want to change. This will help you avoid wasting resources or spending time farming an item that does not match your needs.
