How to Get Power Source in Fisch (D.R.E.D. Rod Quest)

The Power Source is one of the required items for Dr. Anton’s questline in Roblox Fisch. This item was introduced in the Venue Encore update and can be purchased from a special NPC in Roslit Bay. However, you cannot simply buy it using regular Coins, as the shop requires a separate currency called Glorp Bucks.

To obtain the Power Source, you must first unlock access to the shop, collect enough Glorp Bucks, and then purchase the item from Sophisticated Glorp. Here is how to complete each step.

Requirements to Get the Power Source

Before collecting Glorp Bucks, make sure your character meets the two requirements needed to purchase the Power Source. First, you must activate the D.R.E.D quest inside the Underground Music Venue. Without activating this quest, the item will not become available in the shop.

You also need to reach at least Level 800. If you have not reached this level yet, you will need to continue fishing and gaining experience before you can access the shop properly.

Make sure you have completed both requirements before spending time farming Glorp Bucks.

Where to Find Sophisticated Glorp in Fisch

Once you have activated the quest and reached Level 800, travel to Roslit Bay. Your next objective is to find an NPC called Sophisticated Glorp, who operates the shop where you can purchase the Power Source.

You can use your in-game GPS to locate the NPC more easily. Sophisticated Glorp is positioned slightly to the right of the area where players could previously obtain the Blade of Glorp.

Talk to this NPC to open the shop. You will notice that the shop does not accept regular Coins, so you will need to collect its special currency before purchasing anything.

How to Get Glorp Bucks

Glor Bucks are earned by selling fish with the Gibbus mutation to Sophisticated Glorp. You cannot simply sell ordinary fish to receive this currency, so make sure the fish you collect have the required mutation.

After catching some Gibbus fish, return to Sophisticated Glorp and interact with the NPC. Select the “Sell My Gibbus Fish” option to exchange your catches for Glorp Bucks.

The amount of currency you receive depends on the rarity and weight of the fish. This means that larger and rarer catches can provide different amounts of Glorp Bucks, so your total earnings will depend on the fish you manage to catch.

How Much Does the Power Source Cost?

You need exactly 55 Glorp Bucks to purchase the Power Source. Keep selling Gibbus-mutated fish until you have collected enough currency to reach this amount.

Once you have 55 Glorp Bucks, speak with Sophisticated Glorp again and select the “Show Me Your Shop” option. Browse the available items until you find the Power Source.

Choose the purchase option to exchange your 55 Glorp Bucks for the item. After completing the transaction, the Power Source will be yours and can be used for Dr. Anton’s D.R.E.D.7 Rod questline.

How to Get the Power Source Quickly

The most important thing is to complete the requirements before farming for Glorp Bucks. Activating the D.R.E.D quest and reaching Level 800 first will prevent you from collecting currency before you can access the item.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Reach Level 800 in Fisch.

2. Activate the D.R.E.D quest inside the Underground Music Venue.

3. Travel to Roslit Bay.

4. Find Sophisticated Glorp using your GPS.

5. Catch fish with the Gibbus mutation.

6. Sell your Gibbus fish using the “Sell My Gibbus Fish” option.

7. Collect 55 Glorp Bucks.

8. Open the NPC’s shop and purchase the Power Source.
