iPhone 6S is The Heaviest iPhone in History

iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus officially launched by Apple. Revealed that the new generation of iPhone is the heaviest weight in the history of Apple and become the talk of the fanboy.

iPhone 6S weighs about 143 grams. Over 11% of the weight of the iPhone 6. Moreover, from the iPhone 5S, the lightest iPhone in history, weighing only 112 grams. What’s behind this weight gain in iPhone 6S?

Initially, as quoted from the Tech Insider, Monday, the cause of increasing the weighing of the iPhone 6S is from material changes. iPhone 6S wear 7000 series aluminum material which is said to be more powerful than the iPhone 6 and not easily bent.

But further analysis states the cause of weight gain is related to the iPhone 6S is equipped with new touch-screen features, the 3D Touch. This feature is able to recognize the level of user touch to execute various functions.

“The addition of weight because there is a 3D Touch screen. On the iPhone 6 screen weighing only 12 grams to 29 grams today in the iPhone 6S.
