Nexus 6P

Google finally reveal the presence of its own smartphone design that is now named Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X in an event in San Francisco, California, USA, on Tuesday (9/29).

Google entrusted Nexus 5X production to LG manufacturers from South Korea, while the Nexus 6P to Huawei from China. Both are running the latest version of the Android operating system, version 6.0, which carries the code name of Marshmallow.

Nexus 5X has a 5.2 inch wide screen design and Nexus 6P is larger which is 5.7 inches with a design that is completely new.

Nexus 5X built by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. The screen is equipped with a 1080p resolution with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 12-megapixel camera that can record 4K video.

While the Nexus 6P wear WQHD AMOLED screen type. This phone uses Sony camera sensor with a resolution of 12.3 megapixels. It is capable of recording slow-motion images and 4K video.

Both phones are equipped with USB Type C holes connector to charge the battery or connected to a personal computer utilizing a data cable.

The most important updates on both Nexus is Nexus Imprint presence. It is a fingerprint sensor that is placed on the rear panel of the phone, precisely in the bottom of the camera.

According to Google, the Nexus Imprint requires 600 milliseconds to recognize the fingerprint. It will utilize Nexus Imprint to authenticate payments and other sensitive matters.

Nexus 5X priced at US $ 379 without a contract with a mobile operator in the United States, while the Nexus 6P priced at US $ 499 for 32 GB capacity and US $ 649 for 128 GB. Google opened the reservations start today and the deliveries starting in October.

Nexus phones series is known as the mobile phone designed by Google that will receive Android operating system updates earlier than other Android mobile phones. A number of other companies that have trusted by Google to produce Nexus, among others, Samsung and Motorola.
