Ruby is a fighter and support type of heroes. It got everything that you need to help your team and to kill them. Here, we will give you an item built that is the best for Balance. It is focused mainly on lifesteal, health, armor, and magic resistance.
1. Tooth Of Greed : +75 Physical Attack, +25% Lifesteal,
Unique Passive :
- Frenzy: When HP drops below 20%, the hero will receive an extra 10% physical lifesteal
Reason : This is a must have items for all Ruby built. Why? Although the skills itself will provide Ruby with 100% Lifesteal for 3 second. It doesn’t do much for its basic attacks. Which is why, to increase its durability while boosting its attack power. This item is needed.
2. Endless Battle : +50 Physical Attack, +25 Magic Power, +350 HP, +5% Movement Speed, +15% Lifesteal, +400 Mana
Unique Passive :
- Divine Justice: After using this ability, the next basic attack will have an additional 70% physical damage as true damage. This effect has a 2s cooldown.
- Chase Fate: When Divine Justice’s effect is triggered, it will increase the hero’s movement speed 15%
Reason : While Magic power is not important to Ruby, it’s true damage does. While using your skill, your physical damage will be 70% true damage. It will also gives you a 20% movement speed and +15% lifesteal, making your total basic lifesteal +40% and added with its passive + 140%
3. Magic Shoes : +10% Cooldown Reduction, +40 Movement Speed
Reason : +40 movement speed and +10% cooldown reduction. What you need is the cooldown reduction, with it. You could spam your first skill in a mere 4 sec cooldown.
4. Dominance Ice : +500 Mana, +70 Armor, +5% Crit Strike Rate Reduction,+20% Cooldown Reduction
Unique Passive :
- Arctic Cold: Lowers movement speed 5% and lowers attack speed 30% for nearby enemy heroes
Reason : While killing is not your main purpose, helping other kill will help you contribute. So having a lower 5% and 30% movement and attack speed with 20% cooldown reduction which let’s you spam more skill will definitely help you contribute more in your team.
5. BloodThirsty king : +1550 HP, +75 HP Regen
Unique Passive :
- Bloodlust: A kill or assist regends 20% of hero’s HP within 5s
Reason : With it, and you as a tank. You will be able to help your team more in tanking. Even assisting will gives you a regen.
6. It is up to you. Based on what you need.
Basically, you could do whatever you wanted, if you are up with a marksman, consider getting blade armor, which will reflect all the damage taken by your opponents. Or if you want more durability and survive ability, then immortality is one way to go. If you wanted a more powerful and killing ability, blade of despair is your choice. There are so many combination for Ruby.
How to use Balance based Ruby!
1. Stun is everything, Don’t go in yourself as you don’t have that much armor nor health. If your combo connect, (which is the first skill then activate your passive lifesteal, then second skills then go back or go front depending if your opponent had a marksman or not in the back. Then use your ultimates to go back after having them in a group) then you will definitely kill all your opponents.
2. Try to jungle whenever you can. The more you level, the more powerful you can be.
3. Try to gang up on one opponents or 2 in the early game
4. Don’t be greedy, If you can’t take the kill, then don’t!
