The Minecraft-like spinoff of Square Enix’s iconic JRPG series, Dragon Quest Builders, has at long last arrived on mobile devices running the iOS and Android operating systems. In honor of the event, beginning today there will be a discount that lasts for two weeks during which the price of the game will be reduced from $29.99 to $21.99.

Rather than being a traditional turn-based Japanese role-playing game (JRPG), the main focuses of the game are survival, crafting, and building. While it does feature a main goal that sticks in your mind and several NPCs from across the Dragon Quest series, the primary focus of the game is on simulating the experience of playing Minecraft while adding a few twists to the standard gameplay.

Anyone who has played Dragon Quest before will recognize the monster you will face in this game. Some, which include goblins, slimes, demons, and others, are all depicted in a similar manner that is characteristic of the Dragon Quest graphic style.
