Samsung recently released an update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for June 2022, which includes some camera improvements. The camera update was announced alongside Samsung’s monthly security update; here are the specifics of the camera update.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Update Details:

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

  • Provides an increase in sharpness, and contrast when taking photos
  • Confirm and resolve shooting issues
  • Improved the AWB algorithm so that the original white color is better when taking photos of pets
  • Optimize memory for video capture
  • Improve portrait mode performance, and optimize overall camera performance.

This update is 1.7GB in size and is currently being released slowly for users in South Korea, but will eventually be released globally. If you live in South Korea and haven’t received the update, you can manually check it in your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Settings > Software Update.
