At the IGN Summer Game a while back, NetEase Games presented an introduction of its new weird survival game with the title “Once Human.” In addition to that, NetEase revealed that there would be a Closed Beta Test for Once Human in the month of September, alongside a few gameplay trailers pertaining to the PC game. The following video demonstrates how the game is played:

Once Human depicts an age in which humans discover a mysterious gateway that opens and pollutes the planet with ‘Stardust’ despite the fact that the story takes place in a future in which the world has been destroyed.

The pollution makes the creatures and the planet tough to live in, but there is still a glimmer of hope left because the majority of the humans who are impacted by Stardust pollution turn out to have powers that can assist them in surviving the nightmare that has occurred. In order for players to stay alive, they need to look for resources, construct bases, and destroy creatures.

Players also have the option to select different game modes, such as player versus environment (PvE), in which they must battle boss monsters that disrupt their path, or player versus player (PvP), in which they must work together with other players to eliminate other players and steal their resources.

Pre-registration for Once Human is currently available on the official website. The CBT for Once Human is scheduled to begin in September of this year.
